Strengths
- Highway to Hell
YT-1984's great engines provides it with best-in-class speed and maneuverability thus making it a great "GETMEOUTOFHERE"-type of ship or capable fighter if piloted by an experienced ace.

Ships design is quite common across the galaxy thanks to its looking just like it more popular predecessor.
Weaknesses:
Of course, to achieve such a great speed for a good price some sacrifices should've been made. Here are some of them:
- Weaponry
Basic models come only with one canon making it pretty vulnerable against starfighters squadron of any size. Even though it can be upgraded with additional firepower it's still not on par with other corvettes.
- Cargo, safety
While YT-1930 was designed to be a great cargo ship, YT-1984 is a personal transport with even better speed so all cargo bays were erased in favor of better engines and reactor, while remaining space was fitted with med and technical bay. Escape pods also had to be erased, being replaced with only two exits;
- Defences
Average armor and shields, nothing more, nothing less.
- No gimmicks
Installing additional modules despite above mentioned weaponry is literally impossible due to ships reactors already working on max which means no invisibility engine or anything like that.

Comparison to original ships interiors
- escape pods were replaced with two exits
- all cargo bays areas after "step down" mark were replaced with bigger reactors and additional maneurabilty engines leaving only 1/5 of the previous space available (since left 1/5 is occupied by MedBay)
- more modern main engines
