SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Anti-Force Bubble (3m Radius)
Strengths:
  • My Little Friend -
Based on the age old design of the Nutrient Packs utilized by the Stormtroopers of old to hunt the great Luke Skywalker, Jaeger Solutions moved to miniaturize and update the otherwise aged technology. With a smaller form factor, this opens up a world of tactile options for Mandalorians and more on the go; trading out the heavy back pack for something more stylish, or even another back pack, but this time full of things you actually care about.

Weaknesses:
  • Old but Gold -
Unlike its predecessor, the 'Force Dead' Armored Glands are not capable of extending their fields when in contact with one another. Simply put, they are almost exclusively meant for personal use; and lack the power to cover entire vessels, or even most vehicles. They simply do not have the capacity for more exceptional force prevention.

[*]Every 3,000 Miles -
  • Just like the larger varients, these smaller devices require a replacement of nutrient plates once every week. While a number can be carried, long trecks without proper replacements could get the user into a bad situation; especially if they let the gland die by accident.

[*]Electrical Circuit -
  • While its true the device has a number of capacitors to store excess electricty, this is mostly to prevent static shock from otherwise dampening the field produced. More dedicated shocks, say from lightning or ion blasts can result in the life support systems to be overloaded and fail; forcing the creature inside to die within a matter of 10 minutes, with a slowly declining field surrounding it.

DESCRIPTION
In recent history, Nutrient Packs have been taken on by a number of massive factions; Jaeger Solutions sought to not only update the hundreds of years old design and bring it into the modern era of warfare and hunting. While previous models had the entire focus on armoring the nutrient pack, and extending the exact length each one can live within its secluded home, the 'Force Dead' instead brings the attention to size. The exact thing that should have been done years prior.

With a newly opened genetics division following a merger with the smaller Darknet company known as 'The Hierophant's Entity', Jaeger Solutions began to specialize stem cells extracted from Ysalamiri and create a somewhat new 'organism' with it. While not a creature in itself, lacking bother a brain and most genetic organs, what the small inch sized creature does have is the ability to create a force negation field on par with its larger parents. However, with the ability to create this field it loses the ability to communicate with its contemporaries and create larger fields; forcing it to be used exclusively for personal use.

In short, its just a minitarized version of larger varients; made more applicable for modern armor set ups. This is entirely for more lightweight solutions to armor, fitting into only an inch of protected durasteel.

If this utilizes a new organism that creates a "Force Dead" bubble, you will need to submit a new species to the codex. Atop that, when you take into account that a Ysalamiri Nutrient Frame was literally a backpack cage/enclosure to store a living Ysalamir which then projected a ~10 meter bubble, this seems extremely unbalanced - especially considering this organism only occupies one square inch.

Not only do the logistics of the actual submission lack in balance, but at a mass produced level, this seems highly improbable.

I am denying this on concept.

As per usual, you may Request a second chance.
