Troiken System

The planet came into orbit, when the Republic fleet emerged from hyperspace. The hues of the planet ranged from purple to green, all the way to blue and orange. Beautiful it was, valuable as well. Sochi was on the bridge of the ship going over the plans with the crew. Officers and staff filled the entire room, all she could think about at the moment was how fast everything had been going. It seemed like yesterday she was participating in the liberation of Ossus. Now the Emperor had been captured and the sith disbanded.

Most people wouldn't have thought they would see the day when the sith wasn't going to be as much of a pain in the butt anymore. As much as she would have liked to reminisce and talk about accomplishments and changes, she had a task to attended to. The Dominion of Troiken. They have been receiving reports from the native Xextos of attacks by sentient beings. Turns out the Arkanians had some failed experiments they left behind on the planet.

So far these were the current objectives:

- Travel to abandoned Arkanian Research facility investigate and destroy the horde of mutated Xextos. [Climate is Cold, take caution]

- Help transport goods and supplies from the Captial City of Veterned, through the rainforest to the surviving Xextos that have been the target of the mutant attacks. [Be cautious of Challat Eaters]

Sochi began to make her way down to the hangar to prepare to land on the planets surface. She walked slowly, her Jedi robes draping along the ground behind her. They needed to send aid to these people.

Ella Nova walked beside her new Jedi Master, wearing her traditional Jedi robes as well. It felt strange and kind of bemusing to be in Master Ru's tutelage. There was only a few years in between them in age and they had been training together as Jedi Padawans not too long ago. Hell, they had been Padawans when they had served together during the Liberation of Ossus. But here she, now as Sochi's Padawan. She would miss Master Dista's training and friendship, but the council had decided that she would be better off elsewhere; and that was how she found herself to be on Troiken.

"So, where are we headed to first, master?" Ella asked Sochi Ru, with a grin.

 

[Rasu Gan]

Standing patiently in the shuttle, Rasu waited for others to join her before informing the pilot to begin their departure. The Shi'ido's world still seemed a bit dream-like after hearing the news that the Sith were disbanding, their empire in ruins and it's people fleeing, either forming small splinter groups or being swallowed by larger organisations. Still it was a mighty blow for the Republic, and the had acted quickly, Jedi and military forces alike had swarmed into Imperial territory, invading the now vacant planets. This would be the same now for Troiken.

Led by her dear friend Sochi Ru, the Republic had amassed a small force to take back the Imperial governed world, bringing it and it's people into the folds of the Republic. Rasu had read the objectives set up by the Togruta Knight and felt that the best place for the Shi'ido to be right now would be with the people of Troiken. She would help assist and protect them as they began to send out fresh supplies to the splinter villages on the planet, those that had been targeted by mutant attacks. Awaiting the arrival of new recruits, Rasu remained standing, keeping her senses alert for any newcomer that wished to accompany her.

[Saki]

Travel to abandoned Arkanian Research facility investigate and destroy the horde of mutated Xextos. [Climate is Cold, take caution]

Saki was on the ship gearing up as she thought about what they were going to be doing and all that came to her mind was fighting. A dangerous experiment was something she could get behind stopping and making sure was taken out. She could even get behind the entire thing they were going to do. Didn't mean she wanted to move stuff around this was all about the fighting and all about the breaking of the last vestiges the empire might have. Remnants for the pit or the prisons could be easily captured as she checked the blades on the bracers. "All ready to go down here."

 

[Odeyseis]

Another night without a good sleep, Odeyseis again had those dreams of the past, remembering of his fallen clanmates at the hands of Seyfra. But, as always, he didn't mind that he was tired, all that he was thinking now was about the mission he was just assigned, to help the Xextos to transport goods to them in the system of Troiken. He was ready, with his lightsaber clipped on his belt in case he needed to defend the Xextos from some setient beings, hoping that it won't be necessary to use his weapon.
Odeyseis was approaching to one of the shuttles, then he felt someone waiting outside the shuttle, it was a fellow Jedi. While walking towards the shuttle, he noticed a beautiful Miralian, not knowing that she was a Shi'ido, standing just outside the shuttle, waiting. Odeyseis then started to wonder if she was assigned too the same task as he had? When he reached the Miralian, he took a bow and introduced himself to her:

"Odeyseis Dryar, Jedi Knight. Are you here to help the people of Troiken? I could accompany you if you are."

"You can help jedi by making sure you don't cause problems. We need to show we're not the empire and a better choice for all of the people. Show them democracy is better then a new emperor every week." Ayumi had a grin on her face though at the thought of what they could be doing and she was going to work to make sure supplies were given to the capital city. Something easy enough to do in the end but she would have to ensure the jedi kept up their job as peacekeepers. "You have a plan and we'll see it through."

The plan that knight Ru had was... commendable and the man gave her a begruding nod of agreement. She was doing good for leading the way into this place. Helping out and having them deliver supplies while cleaning up would and should spread the good will while they moved along into the heart of sith space and worked to make sure they couldn't rise again. Well try being the operative word since history had shown they could come back always and forever just like the jedi or the mandalorians. It was a cycle like the seasons one side always seemed snuffed out and then they returned stronger and more unified. Not something they could play with at all times but he would find a way to be useful while collecting data for Serenity and the GIA at the arkania facility.

The blue embrace of hyperspace quickly withdrew like a scorned lover as the repiblic cruiser dropped from hyperspace and was deposited naked and cold in the infinite black.
Vaudin stood near the lovely Togruta Jedi @[member="Sochi Ru"] and watched out the view port with his arms crossed and clenched jaw.

The senatorial robes he wore were ridiculous and overly gaudy but this is what his people wanted a representative that didn't just sit in an office but got involved.

He watched as the Jedi prepared to go to their ships and he closed his eyes. He could feel them all in the force like the stars in the black. Their loght shown each in different measure but it shown none the less. His only talents with the force were his peoples natural precognition and he could feel the auras around him.

"Knight Ru please keep us up to date on your needs so we can coordinate our efforts and so I can report to the senate." He asked nicely. He longed to be in the action again but machines only worked when parts stayed where they were suposed to.

"I'll help bring some of the supplies." The petite jedi looked up at Rashu as she stood there and her tri-colored eyes flicked about her looking and coming towards the shuttles to let herself join the others and head down. The saber on her hip was nearly the size of her thigh while she went about clasping her hands behind her back. While she moved and thought about the others who were there with them and coming. Sochi was skilled and the others who had come she wasn't going to put anything past them skill wise. Now it was all about helping the Republic.

 

[Not Ordo]

Yinch Jumped through the air as he passed some workers going about their duties. They by now had come to expect the energetoc padawans antics as he moved to join his master.

He was still young even by human standards but he was a strong vibrant point of happiness in the force even when he was in danger he had trouble not seeing a reason to be positive.

He skidded around a corner and slid to a stop beside @[member="Rasu Gan"].

"Ready I am Master." He said in his little odd voice.

Chancellor Jack Harkness had a ring to it and here and now he well he had some things to do, most importantly was show that the Republic was here to help and that is wasn't just the jedi in and around. There was more then enough going on within the order that they weren't making everything about themselves and their ego's as some seemed to think. The second was while he sent out a public message. Any member of the Empire who wished could come no questions asked and ask for amnasty, ask to be allowed and no longer branded a criminal for aiding the enemy in war time. He was willing to listen and after the one message he had never been able to get back to he wanted to try and help out the captain. "Miss Katamirth if your able to receive this I am on Troiken with a fleet, come and visit and we can talk with no empire there might be a position for you or at the least a friendly meal. Sincerely Chancellor Harkness."

 

[Syn]

"I'll help clear out the facility." The jedi master made a face while he prepared for it, plenty of chances to stop terrible things before they got loose to plague the galaxy and an excuse to let out some of his aggression. He would have to make sure the time spent wasn't wasted to missing anything. His hands pulled the saber from his belt and felt the familiar weight to it while moving to join the other jedi in the shuttle and heading down. Once there he planned only to wipe out as many problems as he could so the republic could show them they meant only good intentions and peace.

Matsu made a small face while she continued to walk around and had to admit that this was something she could enjoy as they went about. The planet wasn't great but it served a purpose for establishing borders and an area where the Republic's line was stopping and letting the Mandalorian's who fought, letting the Fels who had fought have the rest. A small section of space carved up three ways to serve a purpose of vigilance and awareness and while she doubted the sith would ever truly be destroyed they could try and stem the tide or stop it when it started all over again. That was why she was out here and ready to do as needed for the Republic.

Turning to the strong Iktotchi, Ru slowly bowed her head, to show she understood, "As you wish." She said before making her way towards the hangar, everyone was now on the move, teams were forming, and people were leaving to partake in their missions. Walking through the sliding doors, she made her way through the halls along with her newest Padawan Ella Nova, in fact these two were padawans together a, but her training had now come under the supervision on Sochi; it was truly a good idea to put them together, as they already had a blooming relationship.

"Well, Padawan were going to assist with the investigation of the Arkanian Research facility." She said softly, as they entered the turbolift that would take them down to where they could board their ship. Everyone was scrambling to find their places. Sochi went over to their shuttle, which inside would have their equipment. Before she could board her personal holo comm activated. She pulled it out, and a republic scout appeared as an apparition of blue.

"Commander Ru, we have uncovered further intelligence regarding Trokien. Sources say that the sith were using engineers from Veterned to aid them in weapons manufacturing. There is an underground factory within Mt. Avos."

The blue apparition dispersed, and she looked towards her Padawan. She began to contact the senator over her comlink. "Senator Vaudin, we have received further intelligence of a underground factory located in Mt. Avos. Since I have not departed yet, my Padawan and I will head there. Please inform all our forces, reinforcements might be valuable. I will call for them if needed, after I access the situation." She said before boarding the shuttle, and talking with the pilots about the new course they would be taking.

"Knight Ru, This is capt...Senator Miir, I have solid copy." He began already falling into his old habits, "I will notify the powers that be and direct reinforcements to you at your command."

Vaudin turned directly to the Comms officer.

"Well? Get on the horn son!" He said as the young man looked up at him, "you heard the lady."

Vaudin then pulled out his datapad from his burried pocket. He turned and yanked to get the datapad free from the robes and cursing loudly he sent the report to the chancellor and the other teams. If he had to sit on his haunches he could at least keep everyone aware of what in the Corellian hells was happening.

"Transmision sent senator," the young officer said.

"See that!" Vaudin said spreading his arms wide, "you just made me this happy."

The Republic had broken the back of the Empire. It wasn't long after Kaine was captured at Mon Calamari that things quickly fell apart. Officers she had been conspiring with abandoned those who vied to fill the power vacuum. The loyalists fought to the end under Emperor Vulcanis, the false Emperor. Krag, as the monster was known before, tried to grab the reigns of the Empire and somehow turn back the Republic. But luck was never on his side, nor were many who made up the base of this nation. It was a doomed desperate attempt.

Hawke I. Katamirth, a former Commodore of the Imperial Navy, never took part in any action during the war. Turning traitor before these events transpired. She was though actively working against the Sith from the shadows. Working with a cabal of officers to tie down the Sith logistics and supply. Certainly she played her role in the Republics hasty advance; and while they never accepted her proposal to instigate a rebellion; the Chancellor had invited her to meet with him now. And she had accepted his invitation. In all likelihood she may even get a position in the Navy.

Ella smiled before nodding. "So what's our objective now? We're headed to the... Arkanian science facility or the Sith's weapons manufacturing facility?" She was confused because her Master had said one and then another. The young Padawan tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, nervously, as she had done during the Liberation of Ossus.

Nodding to the pilots, and then hearing the ship turn on, with the loud humming of the engines, she turned to her Padawan. As she had presented her with a question.

"We'll, now that were uncovered something else, our plans have changed. We'll be heading to that weapon manufacturing facility. It would be too late for everyone to change their objectives and head that way. It's easier for us since we have departed yet." She said softly, answering the girls question.

Their ship had begun to levitate, and the massive hangar doors were already open, they begun to make their way towards the Troiken, heading for Mt. Avos. She hung on the the railing on top near the ceiling of the ship. The shuttle containing herself, Ella, and a small group of republic soldiers.

[Rasu Gan]

Acknowledging the three Jedi that approached her, she placed a hand on the shoulder of her Padawan, Yinch, smiling down at the green being. "Thanks for coming everyone. Let's get started." she said, telling the shuttle pilot to begin the engine ignition sequence. Any new arrivals would have a few more minutes before the shuttle left the sanctuary of the Republic cruiser and headed down in the direction of the Capital City, Veternad. Once more wrapping her wrist around the safety strap of the shuttle, she awaited their departure, mind racing through the endless possibilities that may await them on the surface.

A shudder raced through her body, indicating the ignition of the shuttle engines, soon her grip tightened on the strap as she felt her body be pushed against the momentum of the accelerating shuttle. The Shi'ido's body tensed as they sped off towards the surface, she knew that an attack was highly unlikely but she couldn't help but feel slightly anxious as she couldn't help but remember the various battles that she had raced through in a shuttle much like this one. Closing her eyes, she decided to focus on her breathing, trying to remain calm and relaxed as they made their speedy descent.

It was not long before she felt the second shudder through the shuttle, indicating their safe landing. Opening her eyes, she unwrapped her wrist from the strap and turned to face the Jedi who accompanied her. "Alright everyone, let's head over to the city gates. We'll receive the supplies and our instructions from there." Once finished speaking, she lead the way out if the shuttle, and out into the chilly air of Troiken.

Yinch smiled up at his master and nodded happily as she thanked them for coming. He would not have missed it of course. He watched everything his curious mind drinking in everything it could. He felt the shuttle start and warm up and then lift off.

He hadn't expected the shuttle to be so unstable and he had to grab a leg to keep from tumbling over.

"A good thing that here I was," he joked to the other Jedi, "Saved your life I did."

He heard the pilot and a crewman chuckle as he stood holding a pant leg with one hand and the safety strap with the other. His small tan tunic and robes hung loosly as he waited for the shuttle to sit down.

As they touched down Yinch popped out of the hatch and onto the ground. He listened as his Master gave instructions. Then as happy as a mynock on a power cable he followed behind them.
