Gilamar Skirata
The most important step is always the next one
Eshan: Queen's Throne Room
It had been ages since the last time he had been on the Echani home world. Back then it had been a different time, both Echani and Mandalorian struggling to keep themselves separate from their respective influences, the Republic and the Sith Empire. At one time they considered each other friends, rivals. They still did. But where one had fallen, the other had succeeded. The Echani were now a part of the Republic and the shipyards that the two warrior cultures strove to improve now served a different master. The Mandalorians on the other hand had somehow scrapped by, carving a place in the Galaxy for themselves and using their greatly improved shipyards to great effect.
But now here he was again. About to ask for their aid, bypassing the Republic. But now, a new leader held the reigns, and many familiar faces were gone (Yes Gilamar could tell them apart!). He needed their shipyards once more. They had helped him and his people on several projects, and he had hoped that the trend would continue...But now he was being challenged. The young queen, rumored among the Mandalorians to be Force Sensitive, and powerful at that. What would become of him now, well...He might end up with a few bruises, a couple broken bones, but there was no way he would let this...child beat him into oblivion.
