Character
So, in all honesty, I have no idea what I’m going to do with this character.
But I know there is just as much of a songwriter in me who loves music as there is a fantasy writer, so I merged the two and came up with this character who is promoting an album right in the middle of the Imperial occupation of Coruscant and the Core! Purely coincidental timing.
Bad timing? Possibly. But maybe not.
So, it got me thinking. What if her concerts served as a setting for interactions either between Imperials and Rebels, or other people caught in the crosshairs?
I haven’t quite figured out who she is yet, but I would say overall she is an open-minded person who wouldn’t really agree with the Imperial occupation on Coruscant, also being from nearby Chandrila…but still hesitant at this point in her very new career to take a stand with the Rebels.
So…what if she used her tour as a cover for collecting intel and passing it along discreetly to Rebel leaders? Perhaps storing info in her stage equipment? Having dinner with Imperial officials just to sneak Rebels onto her “tour ship” and giving them intel before she jets off to the next planet?
I also have no idea how holding “live” public concerts would go in a thread, but I’m willing to try it out. If anything…it would be a fun setting for people from factions all over to come to Coruscant and hang out in a public setting without having a mission or an agenda. Or perhaps you do? Meeting up with your informant while there’s all these lights and big video screens on stage?
I’m not sure how it will go…but I believe I will be making an opening post on Friday to kick off a concert and see where that goes. Perhaps it will evolve into spin-off plots further down the line as people get involved?
