DESCRIPTION
The Nagai are well known for their electromesh armor suits, which provide excellent resilience against blaster fire while maintaining the flexibility and swift movements that the species are famous for. These suits are custom made by boutique smiths, some of whom are from families who have been designing and building suits of armor for dozens of generations. Nagai armored suits tend to be highly individualized, bringing out the personality and preferences of each individual customer who commissions one. While there are mass-produced suits of electromesh, they are not considered genuine, but merely cheap copies made by lesser-skilled manufacturers. Even if these mass-produced copies retain the electomesh protective layer, they lose the style, fashion, and fit of a true Nagai original.

Yol Kan's armor suit has the additional feature of phrik alloy plates over sensitive areas to ablate lightsaber strikes. The armor is not immune to lightsabers, but repeated or determined blows are needed to cut through it. The plates are as thin as practically possible and carefully tailored to maintain the suit's lightweight and flexible properties so that the natural Nagai agility continues to shine through while wearing it.
