DESCRIPTION
Yijun Capital is a private company that specializes in providing business expertise and financial services to individuals and corporations; particularly smaller start-ups with high growth potential. Having originally been a moderately successful company in the same market, competent and trained personnel were already employed and familiar with the processes when the current CEO, Yijun Tung, bought out the business and changed it's name. Skilled advisers and strategists watch for high potential investments and then financial service representatives reach out to build relationships and make deals. Because of the nature of investment banking the company has a fluctuating wealth, but thorough screening processes have created positive results more often than not. Yijun Capital also acts as one of the many legal business fronts of the Gokudō, funding operations while allowing the criminal organization to invest money in places of interest through legitimate means. While it may not be a multi-billion dollar, inter-galactic organization the profits easily allow Yijun Tung, his top executives and business partners to live luxurious lifestyles.
RATIONALE
The company now known as Yijun Capital had existed in Galactic City for a few decades with moderate success before being acquired by Yijun Tung. Seeking to use his natural talent for numbers and business as a way to bring in income on the books and expand the horizon for both himself and the Gokudō, he invested a considerable sum of his personal savings and loaned what was left from the crime family to buyout the business. Making a few adjustments to ensure the staff were loyal, trustworthy and talented.
