- Damage: The purpose of this ship is very simple: bring as much firepower to take down larger ships as possible. From Ion torpedoes to strip down shields, to bombs and proton torpedoes to tear apart the hull of even larger capital ships.
- Morale Boost: With a fun pin-up on the front painted by soldiers with more artistic skills, there is always a simple morale boost carried along on duty.
- Easy Target: Y-wings are larger and slower than most other small craft, making them much easier to target and destroy for enemy fighters or interceptors.
- Valery Noble: You might not want to run into her flying a ship with a pin-up of her on it.
In design, a very standard Y-wing with weapons to take on larger capital ships, but it was made 'special' by the pilots who own them. Several artistic figures throughout the GADF navy have painted vintage-style pin-ups as a morale boost for those taking them into combat.
