Xobr'ai'thiram was born a commoner on Csilla, far removed from the political maneuvering of the Nine Ruling Families. Finding opportunities outside of the Ascendancy, he left the Unknown Regions to join the old First Order Navy.
It was in the rank-and-file of the First Order that he met Rovac Vane. Both men were outsiders—one a Chiss in a human-centric military, the other a naval officer who valued efficiency over dogma. They formed a bond during the Long Retreat, surviving the collapse of the First Order proper and the subsequent purge of the old Imperial traditionalists.
Braith was instrumental in the First Order Unification Protocol, using his background in intelligence to vet and absorb the various wayward remnants they found in the deep dark. He is the one who identified Zakuul as a viable base of operations, recognizing the potential of its foundries to fuel a First Order return. As Director of the FOSB, he serves as the First Order's sentinel, ensuring that the internal rot that destroyed the Empire never takes root in the First Order.
