- Accessibility: An island in the middle of a lake near the imperial palace. As a reward for the families service in revitalization efforts a botanist was given it and he turned it into a garden island of exotic plants from around the galaxy. Getting to it is easy with a boat or ship the only real problem is a landing area as the terrain is uneven.
- Description: Covered in lush plant life from across atrisia and with imported plants from across the galax. The island itself bolsters a small house that allows the family to live and act as caretakers. The main entrance to the island is a dock. The small stream that runs through the island allowing boats to be taken up and through curving forests and mountains. Mist is usually present and sweeps across the island.
Greenhouses: Newly built but oneof the larger points of interest. They have been scattered around the island simulating different environments around the galaxy to grow and cultivate new plants on Atrisia.
Maidens Peak: One of the few sites that had been confirmed and recorded. The peak overlooking the rocks and water where the atrisian noble threw herself off or so the story goes.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Not much is known about Xiaoran before the Imperial family annexed it and made it into a house for a loyal family. From the records a widow lived on the island, from a rich family that had perished in one of the wars and with her children and husband dead she was alone. She stayed o the island building the only structure on it until one day a handmaiden was sent to her with two investigators. That is where most of the records end but a final report has the woman leaping from a cliff into the lake itself... or legends say she faked her death and ran away with the handmaiden when she learned the investigators wanted to commit her to an institution.
Later it was gifted by the emperor to a botanist from Atrisia who helped to cultivate restoration of the world under the directions. For years he worked from his island with its different greenhouses to simulate environments on the planet. From humid jungles to the more dry deserts. Even a fishery for cultivating blue algae. The work going into it with his family o the island serves a beneficial purpose to the Emperor and heirs who would take over. The island itself is slightly overgrown now with some of the greenhouses expanding out of windows and doors to smaller areas around them. The clan who act like caretakers and the aging botanist who is there to meet with others when they come to the island.
