Strengths:
+ Physiology: Due to their lean frames acts of acrobatics or moving with extreme coordination is natural for the Xela'Dorn.
+ Reflexes: They're reflexes are naturally faster than an average humans.
+ Degeneration: If in a controlled Degeneration can lead to a Xela'Dorn having increased strength and speed.
Weaknesses:
-Vegetables: A Xela'Dorn's body can not digest vegetables and any type of vegetation.
-Force Sensitive: When compared to other races the likely hood of a Xela'Dorn being a force user is incredibly rare.
-Bone density: Their bones are less dense then an average humans making it easier for them to suffer from a broken bone.
- Xenophobic: Most of the race is cautious to outsiders and will seem hostile till trust is gained.
-Deceitful: The whole race is filled with liars, cheaters, and people you can't trust.
-Sadistic: Xela'Dorn take pleasure in watching others suffer or fail in their affairs to the point that they will intervene.
-Degeneration: In times of great stress or pain the Xela Dorn will Degenerate into a creature focused on murder.
Physiology: Their hair is almost always a gray or silver, but every now and again there will be a child born with crimson colored or black hair. Their bodies are in the best shape possible when compared to other humanoids. Being overweight just wasn't possible with this race due to the struggle they face everyday to survive, and with the diets that they eat. Their bodies are packed with muscles even though they are thin for the most part. When using the force these creatures eyes go from human like to where the whole eye is a certain color ranging from any numerous amount. At the age of adulthood they gain tattoos that symbolize their growth into a warrior.
[SIZE=9pt]The Xela'Dorn however were prone to suffer from Degeneration which is the phenomenon that when under great pain and stress such as when being tortured. The Xela'dorn would then begin to degenerate into a wild beast that can focus on nothing but murder which can be easily controlled by any Force User that is even slightly skilled in telepathy or mind control. Degeneration can be forced though most won't do it do to the heavy consequences of such a thing. When degenerating the Xela'Dorn will begin to grow horns out the top of their heads and wings from their backs. A second row of teeth will begin to form within the Xela'dorns mouth even sharper then the first made to shred through flesh. A tail is occasionally grown as well though even this is incredibly sensitive and if cut off will cause agonizing pain to the Xela'Dorn as will any of the other limbs that were grown after the transformation. In this form the Xela'Dorn are known for having strength that put them on par with most humanoids but below Trandoshans and wookies. At best they may be on par with a extremely well trained human in [/SIZE]strength[SIZE=9pt]. Due to the painful transformation and the shifting of bones they can no longer move with their natural speed and suffer from balance problems which results in them having to run on all fours This transformation is incredibly painful and can take anywhere from five full minutes to ten while regression is about the same length wise. Retaining control is a difficult task when one is degenerated but it is possible. Usually after a few hours one will regress back to their original form with no memories of what happened unless they were in control. [/SIZE]

Diet: Xela’Dorn are complete carnivores, and take in absolutely no type of vegetation as their bodies are not made to process such things. Though their main sources of meat are from the subterranean creatures on the planet. Though cannibalism is known to occur when food is scarce usually the more well off feeding on the poverty ridden or slaves. Due to this they can not intake any type of vegetation as it will throw their bodily systems out of wack leading to vomiting, and cramps as their bodies try to digest it.

Culture: Selvetarm at one point had been an Oligarchy where certain families were in charge of different cities, and wars were constantly waged between the three major Xela'Dorn families, deceit, and assassination became major staples to most Xela'Dorn which has effected the members even of today making them seem incredibly paranoid or hard to trust. Religion is put above all else on Selvetarm as they worship a Patheon of gods. One being the Goddess Cypher who is the god of passion who promotes for her worshipers to give into their primal urges and gives strength to her followers. Ciax, The god of justice who judges those he finds unworthy, and upholds the rights of the meek . Ciri, The goddess of Neutrality, her followers are ones that just go with the flow as there is no point in trying to intervene with fate. The moons are of course named after these Gods, but the center moon Calos is named after the Calos family which had risen to the challenge and took the throne forcing the other families to their knees and making them obey.
For entertainment there is a tournament held in the city Kiran every year. Usually the poverty ridden or commonwealth are the ones competing to win the large reward. The sad part is that there are no true laws to the city so murder and thievery are permitted so long as one isn't caught in the act. If caught the Xela'Down will be sentenced to death. Due to the lack of force users no true cults, or religions were made leaving no training for the ones who had the ability to use the force. Battle is one of the things they live for and even the poverty stricken train daily in case of another invasion by other races. They could be considered one of the largest standing militaries as not only will the trained soldiers fight in battles but so will the whole population of Selvetarm. On the occasion someone dies parties are held celebrating that persons death where the body is cooked and served to the attendees.
Technology level: When compared to the rest of the galaxy is behind in some regards such as a lack of droids, but make up for it by being advanced in areas such as weaponry, and other forms of engineering.

In public in their own societies it is easy to see that for the most part they are always busy due to boredom. The planet has nothing to do besides its tournaments or the constant gladiatorial events where one is pitted against animals from all over Selveterm. One will often find Xela'dorn training constantly even in what free time they do have as to prepare themselves for battle. Xela'Dorn are incredibly sadistic and when one gets on their bad side they will not hesitate to put one through as much pain and torment possible just to watch them suffer.
History: The history of Selvetarm is one that has been paved in blood. The planet from the beginning was home to the Xela'dorn who lived beneath the surface of the planet in numerous cities and constantly waging war against each other constantly with no care for the lower classes except for their uses as fodder in their battles. The three great families each named after the three gods of the Xela'dorn religion constantly fought over land and the Xeonian gems that the planet was known for. These were known as the Dark years, and they lasted for hundreds of years as the feud never seemed to end between the families. Xeonia was the center of these wars, and at one point or another all the families did have control of the city but were easily usurped.
What led to a change was the converging of bloodlines overtime as two starcrossed lovers from different families came together and ran off to together where they took up the name Calos and gave birth to their own children. Tiring of the constant wars between the families they gathered the support of the poverty and commonwealth giving them something to fight for, giving them a chance to rise up against the wealthy. Taking this chance the Calos family easily over took the other families with the large amount of support they had behind them. First they claimed Xeonian for themselves, then they spread outwards forcing their influence all across Selvetarm. It took over thirty years of constant fighting but finally the Calos family stood victorious and claimed themselves as the ruling family and disbanding the others leaving them as nothing but memories to be forgotten in the sands of time.
During these years Selveterm seemed to be on the rise as the poverty slowly began to disperse and even the commonwealth were doing better. That was until a space freighter crashed onto the planet with a cargo hold of spice, weapons, and worse of all humans. The humans automatically began to make their mark on the planet using their weapons to wage war on the Xela'Dorn. Lasting for a few decades the humans had the upperhand on the Xela'Dorn but that was till they began to create weapons of their own based off the ones the humans had brought with them and used their own Xeonian gems as the power sources. They took the war back to the humans and it became a slaughter as the men, women and even children were killed to ensure that such a thing couldn't happen again. The population of the planet has suffered greatly especially when the Gulag plague struck with over half the population dying. To this day Selveterm has been secluded, but as the newest ascendant to the throne claims the crown he has ambitions to make the Xela'Dorn known to the galaxy. Recently they have loss another large percentage of their population as members of the Xela'Dun race mysteriously vanished.
