Strengths:

Educated
Xasuri is a place of many schools, each school typically focusing on the trade of choice. Xasurians value education and consider themselves well-educated and knowledgable in their choice of lifestyle.
Artistic
Xasurians are actually very artistic and value art as one of the most fundamental aspects of their lives. They are beings who know how to express themselves through their art style of choice. Since the typical culture is art-loving, many practicing artists tend to become wealthy.

Weaknesses:

Emotionally Reserved
Being emotional is typically looked down upon by most Xasurians. It is shown as a sign of weakness, and so, they typically prefer to purge their emotions through art. However, they typically do not react like typical human beings do, and often show a sign of restraint when they try to express themselves emotionally.
Low Tolerance for Change
In a society that’s very traditional, change is often not a choice. Xasurians typically prefer things as they are; they cannot change who they marry, they cannot change what they do for a living. More often than not, they cannot change their place in life. Usually, they prefer to stay in Xasuri instead of moving to a different planet.

Average Lifespan: 88 years
Races: Tarandine, Nuskuan, Hargese, Marian
Estimated Population: 473 Million Xasurian Humans
Diet:
Due to the abundance in agriculture on the planet Xasuri, people don’t worry much for food. Traditional Xasuri flavors are either very salty or sweet, the flavors usually extreme. The food is usually more vegetable and fruit heavy and focuses on spices. There are few meat dishes as meat is considered a fine luxury. It is customary for every dish to arrive with their own respective utensils and a strong zesty acidic drink is served in between meals to cleanse the palate, some palate cleansers actually contain a strong acid that is designed to burn the food to prevent weight gain although it is often only consumed by the wealthy. Wealthy families often eat three tiny courses per meal and eat five meals a day, while poorer families only eat one or two meals a day.

A few of Xasuri’s native meals are:
Ros: Pan fried caf beans with bloddles, jun, and kevasa fruit. Served with terrberry syrup.

Fearas: Chopped ootoowerg with three-eyed kinyenian potato, pork and qana bean on a bed of sauteed driss and marthan fruit. Served with mepple and sweetroot.

Xugros: Slow roasted nerf ribs with spiceloaf , fenti bean and juna berry with a salad of galma and oratay.

Trul: Glowblue noodles and chav topped with stickli root and sunfruit.

Communication: Verbal, Non-Verbal, Written
Culture:
Customs:

Common people often treat their royals and council members with high respect, bowing to them before speaking and only speaking to them when spoken too. To common people, they normally greet each other by nodding their heads first. People are often very friendly with each other in hopes of making strong connections.

Gifts are traditionally exchanged during festivals; however if a feast is thrown it is customary for the guests to give gifts to the person hosting the feast or banquet. Luxury and exotic items are known to be wonderful gifts and items imported from other planets are often welcome gifts too. More so, Xasurians prefer gifts crafted by respectful artists in society. Giving a common item as a gift is considered insulting; however, if a person cannot afford to exchange gifts, it is often customary for them to present the party thrower with a handcrafted item.

Births are considered happy events and a celebration is often thrown in the mother’s honor. However, births are private affairs only witnessed by the mother, the partner, and those assisting the birth. It is customary for the mother to spend three months alone with the child before the baby may interact with other people. The baby’s name is typically selected before the birth of the child and is usually selected by the father. However, the father doesn’t get to interact with his child until the baby’s fourth month. Procreation is typically viewed as a ritual and should only be done for the act of reproduction. Because of this rule, men and women of no relations are not allowed to live under the same roof until they are married.

The age for males to come of age is relatively nineteen and sixteen for females in terms of human years and maturity but differs to the equivalents for other races. The males typically choose the woman they’re going to marry on their coming of age celebration(known as the claiming ceremony), and the celebration can last for days. During coming of age celebrations, the celebrant also must choose the profession they’re going to focus on for the rest of their lives. At the end of the celebration, the celebrant must lock themselves in their room for three nights, consuming nothing but fruits and water taken from the Higle Lagoon.

On the boy’s coming of age ceremony, a ring is presented to the girl and she usually wears it around her neck until they get married. The ring is often encrusted with a Xasurian gem chosen by the male himself. However, if two people of the same gender wish to marry, they must both present each other with a ring. As long as both party members are of age, they may marry. However, besides class status, Xasurians heavily look down upon polyamorous relationships.

Wedding ceremonies usually depend on the class status of a person. Wealthier families tend to have week long ceremonies with the two people marrying tied together by the wrist with a long golden cord to symbolize binding people via marriage. Families often prepare for the weddings as soon as the man chooses his wife when he turns nineteen and invites everyone to the wedding. Not inviting people is often seen as publicly denouncing any social ties with that person. Before the married couple consummates their marriage they must bathe together in water from the Higle Lagoon. Marriages are viewed as a lifetime commitment and proposals only happen once in a lifetime seeing as people on this planet care more about status than anything else.

Death ceremonies are often seen as unfortunate events and the family of the deceased must not be seen in public eye for three days. There is usually no funeral and the deceased are burnt, their ashes scattered into the Verbena sea, where the fishes eat them. However, fifty days after the ashes are scattered, people often throw a small gathering with the deceased’s friends hiring artists to perform theatrical performances showcasing the dead person’s most memorable moments.

Music, Art, Literature:
Music, art, and literature are all very important aspects of a Xasurian’s normal life. Creativity is treated highly and respected by all members of society because it serves as catharsis for the community as they are not allowed to conventionally release their emotions. Most schools emphasize learning about the great works created by some of the most respected artists in the universe. However, despite this, literature isn’t given the same treatment. Although its importance is emphasized in higher class societies, the lower class still do not have the resources or the teachers to teach writing and reading as they are not as well funded as the higher members of society.

Beauty and Fashion
Because they respect diversity, fashion usually isn’t something that matters to Xasurians. Xasurians prefer dressing in relation to how one is represented as art serves as the only way to purge out emotions. However, one can typically identify social status based on body type. The nobles tend to be very skinny due to their customary methods of the food dissolving before it enters the system. Xasurians tend to prefer flamboyant yet elegant looking designs. They find plain people who can transform into beautiful works of art as beautiful god like beings.

Technology level: Spacefaring

General behaviour:
Xasurians and Other People

Xasurians are typically socially aloof, seeing as showing emotions are shunned upon by common society. However, they have a high respect for all forms of art, considering that it is their only accepted form of catharsis. Xasurians are typically family, wealth, and art loving creatures; the ranking of how much they love something in that exact order. How open the Xasurian is to foreigners typically depends on his location.

Xasurians and the Law
Xasurians are typically law abiding citizens who know their place in life. Because of the harsh law and the way they look down on slander, Xasurians are very careful about doing the wrong thing. They have high respect for their authority and typically do not question the government. They are careful about the things that they do, seeing as they care about their social image.

Xasurians and Society
Xasurians usually shun upon the lower class and the lower class typically do not try to raise their status in life seeing as it is near-impossible. Xasurians are traditional beings who do not like change in their society unless it is deemed as good by their leaders.

Xasurians and Religion
Almost all Xasurians practice Higletism.

History:
(Xasurian Years / Not Galactic Standard)
Creation Myth:

Higletists believe that the origin of mortals was chosen amongst a group of animals. Sentience was a gift given from the Higol, the God of Life and Death, the father of all the Gods. For a while, Xasuri was merely a planet filled with animals until Higol decided to hold a competition. They say there was an unknown power and those that had the ability to control it and give it to the the God would receive the most powerful gift of sentience and will become one step closer to becoming god like.

The humans, which were then called, Xachu, were the only people who had the ability to control this strange power and so the god Higol gave them the ability of sentience. The planet was then named Xasuri. It is also a reason why Higletist clergy members are set on having force members as part of the clergy as they believe it can bring them closer to becoming gods although that remains a secret within the clergy.

~

Actual recorded history started during the first year where the royal family, descendants of the hero who gave humans sentients, took rule. There was an attempted assassination on the first son of the family through a member of an unidentified guild. And a small war broke out between the royal family and the guild who they eventually defeated. During the next few decades, the royal family gathered people and established ties and conquered different cities. Within the next century the world was united and laws had been established. People knew their place in society.

In the year 215, an advance in naval technologies happened allowing transportation to become easier for the people. However, a few years after that, an epidemic broke out and infected 90% of the population, killing off billions of people.
This was when the first sign of alien interaction had happened and they started to import medicine. In the year 342, medical technology was good enough to help restrict the plague to certain locations yet many people were still dying.

However, in the year 371, a terrible famine swept the lands and Xasuri relied on other planets for food and other imports. At the same time, different races started coming into Xasuri and the cities opened their gates and allowed other races to inhabit the planets. At the same time, the royal family increased their intergalactic connections and imported more technology to help contain the plague to restricted areas.

In the year 403 Mouzu the King was killed and the Temple of Crano was destroyed by an unknown guild that had risen. The guild was known as Xonsha and wanted to overthrow the royal family due to them supporting the belief that natural human emotions such as love had to be suppressed. Luckily, the military was strong enough to defeat the guild at war. Schools for the military were established and laws were far stricter than ever.

Fifty four years later, the city of Tari had been built and the districts had been established. Artists were given more praise and publicity than ever. It was a start of a golden age for Xasuri. Sixty five years later, Xasurian gems had been discovered and encouraged more people to visit Xasuri. Eight years later Xasurian wine was created by the Aeroa family.

It was the year 615 when the plague had finally ended. The virus was gone and it was time for people to rebuild their families. Although billions were affected people still lived through it, not allowing the plague to ruin their lives. Those affected by the plague were isolated into different locations, and when they were wiped out, the poverty were relocated to that area. Luckily, the virus had been contained enough to not affect the main cities. Nine years later, billions of people started disappearing from the galaxy yet somehow people from Xasuri were spared. It had been decided that it was some sort of religious miracle and a large festival was thrown to celebrate.

Now, the royal family still holds a strong rule over the planet.

Very well detailed and thought out submission, I must say. Only thing I would like to ask to see would be in the history section on how the people reacted to the Gulag Virus and the Netherworld Event, once that's addressed I have no problem putting this up to pending :)
