BIOGRAPHY:
Xander Balthier Starkiller (born Alexander Balthier Starkiller) also known as Darth Deimos is an infamous Force-Sensitive Human Male who has served as a prominent member of the Sith Empire in a capacity as a ground commander, spymaster and former governor. He is also known in a certain capacity as the patriarch of the Starkiller Family.
Starkiller was born on Corellia to Jax and Sophie Starkiller. The parents were unimpressed by their first son's apparent lack of potential. So they discarded him on Korriban, allowing three Sith Master's to raise and train the boy should he began to show any promise. As he grew up and learned the details of how he came to be on Korriban the young Xander grew to despise the parents who so quickly abandoned him.
This hate was instrumental in his training, through the years he endured rigorous training that pushed his sanity to the edge. The Master's fueled his hate mostly with lies about how his father might come back but only when he became of use. During his early teenage years he came upon a Holocron his Masters had found and when he could he would take the Holocron and study its contents. It took him the better part of 3 years to learn everything and once he had he destroyed the device in secret.
When he turned 20 he killed all three of his masters, systematically cornering each of them and defeating each of them in a duel using his surroundings and picking his spots. The first Master fell to his blade with a swift decapitation, the second he impaled on the Master's own lightsaber. The third was thrown down a cliff and crushed on the rocks below. With the victory in hand he declared himself a Sith Knight and took his Masters ship off world.
After leaving Korriban, Xander took what knowledge he had and began to track down his parents. Within a three year time frame he met his brother Mark Starkiller and challenged him to a duel. The result was a draw with each brother loosing an arm. A year later at the age of 24, Xander tracked his parents down on Corellia and dueled his father, but his mother did not join in. Xander dueled Jax to a draw, performing rather well against the seasoned Sith Lord, however it would not be enough as the tide turned against him and Jax defeated him.
His father's lightsaber poised to strike Xander was dumbfounded to see his Mother had attacked his father and given him the necessary time to get to his feet and taking advantage of the situation beheaded his father. Still a little shaken up Xander approached his mother and heard her parting words, revealing that she was a prisoner of his father and she never wanted to give him up. Sophie passed away saying she was proud of her boy and asked him to find and protect his siblings, she took her last breath with a smile on her face.
In the aftermath he collected all the information and artifacts his parents had amassed and he soon left Corellia to continue his own path. A new goal set before him, to be the most powerful Force User ever born. On a routine trip back to Corellia, Xander's Infiltrator experienced mechanical failure and erupted into flames mid flight. Finding the only planet nearby the Sith took his ship in and crashed it into the surface of the planet Honoghr. In near critical condition following the crash Xander was taken captive by the natives and brought before their leader, Sith Mistress, Silencia Shamalain. A woman unknown to him but formerly related by marriage to a distant relative.
Silencia seeing potential in him, sought to strip away Xander's state that he had grown into. He was no longer the man who killed his father. He endured severe torture greater then he had endured on Korriban in his early life. Soon in as his personality changed to fit Silencia's mold. His hair was shaved off and a Sith symbol was branded into the left side of his chest. Soon he became the Sith of old only more intelligent, wise, and cunning.
Around the rise of the Gulag Virus, Xander found his way to the Outer Rim avoiding the virus and exploring the worlds the Sith once inhabited, searching for knowledge long since lost. In his time he found his way to Kesh, a world that once housed a tribe of Sith, Skyborn as they were called and with his arrival, his show of power, he too was deemed as Skyborn. With his ascension to godhood in these people's minds, many of the native Keshiri devoted themselves to him and became his servants, a role he was willing to allow them to occupy in the coming years, even protecting them if the virus came to claim them.
Wandering year after year, the strain of age began to show on him and in these times nearing his 60th birthday he began seeking out methods to prolong his life. He came across many Sith arts in his time and began the process of cloning himself and occupying a new body, however his copies were far from perfect and deemed them unworthy of carrying his essence. Years dragged on though and still he could find no solution tough his lifespan had been increased by his use of the Force, it was clear he was aging.
It was in these times that he began to feel his end coming and it was then that he decided to find Silencia Shamalain. the only person he really felt any strong attachment too over the years. However when he arrived on the world of Honoghr he was greated with the youthful appearance of his old teacher and friend. Xander felt a little funny since he looked much older than her but knew for a fact she was older than him. It was then that Xander asked her for aide, hoping she could provide him what what he wanted.
Silencia did just that, crafting him a new body with the strengths of his own species as well as the strengths of her own. Enduring the pain that the process needed, Xander awoke to found a renewed vigor within him and he looked as spry and youthful as ever. He decided to stay on Honoghr for a time and test the limits of his new body and found that he felt several decades younger, he was once more given a new lease on life, all thanks to Silencia. He expressed his deepest gratitude to her and once more took to the stars.
In the many years since he saw her last, Xander had gone back to Kesh, re-establishing his place among the people as their God, the Skyborn had returned, more powerful than ever. It was on this world that the man built up his power base in the capital of Tahv, repurposed the old Sith Temple as his personal fortress and encouraged the industries on Kesh that made the world a paradise of sorts. Though as all the years passed, soon it came time to travel once more.
His first order of business though was to acquire a new ship, to see how the technology had advanced. This took him to the world of Kuat, using the assumed alias of Alexander Stark, an identity he forged as a play on his original birthname. It was inside the corporate headquarters of the Kuat Drive Yards while placing an order that Xander sensed a presence he had not felt for many, many years. It did not take long before he found the presence, his old friend Lady Silencia.
The two decided to catch up over dinner that night and unexpected to him the two became intimate and shared a night together. Xander admitted to her that it was always a desire of his but he never really acted on it giving their relationship up until that point. Deciding to stay when an offer of a home was presented to him, the Sith Lord helped in anyway he could with Silencia's plans on Kuat and even became a valuable asset in the weapons development divison.
Nine months after their night together, Silencia gave birth to their daughter Amorella Mae Shamalain. Once more Silencia had given him a new lease on life and another reason to carry forth. Xander introduced a good number of his servants to life on Kuat and between helping Silencia, raising their daughter and keeping a steady hand with his own interests he found himself quite busy, happily so.
PERSONALITY TRAITS:
As a young man he was very spiteful. He possessed anger, hatred and many other emotions that fueled his strength in the dark side. He was a very brooding young man. He learned cunning, deception and patience. His anger was so great it allowed him to kill his masters and eventually his own parents. As he grew up and began to mature he became more refined, he was able to control his emotions well and eventually found mercy and compassion had its uses.
Raised as the "perfect warrior" he developed a perfectionist attitude and had an unnatural craving for competition. Xander developed abandonment issues from being left behind my his parents and developed a need to control things around him. Also seen as a habit he tends to make attachments to people easily. Also he has as love of pain being noted as a well known Masochist in private circles. In his growing years he's become wiser and more charsmatic than he once was, traits he uses to manipulate those around him.
LIGHTSABER ABILITIES:
As fanatic a student as ever when it came to the lightsaber, Xander found himself in awe of the weapon and did everything in his ability to become a master in the use of the weapon. He developed his skills in the ways of Djem So, using his build and strength to dominate and control a battle, while earlier mistakes in his style were remedied when he began to learn the defensive form of Soresu along with aspects of Trakata and Sokan.
He has experimented with double bladed lightsabers as well as fighting with two at one time and has integrated many other aspects of other styles and forms into his own style, though the basis of which is still firmly rooted in Djem So. The height of his obsession with his lightsaber combat manifested in a customized lightsaber the size of a normal lightsaber but with two mechanisms, utilizing the lightsabers ability to switch on and off quickly, he used both ends to change his style at a moments notice.
FORCE POWERS:
With an affinty to the Force comes a great thrist for knowledge and Xander was no different. He had honed his skills to a razors edge, excelling in uses of Telekinesis, Telepathy and even abilities that enhance his physical strength and speed. Some of the more radical displays of his power are manifestations of Force Lightning, Sith Alchemy and some of the more dreaded abilities of Sith Sorcery, he even developed the ability to drain the life force from a beings body in order to restore his own vitality.
Xander has even gone so far as to experiment with manipulation of the midi-chlorians themselves, albeit with mixed results and has also studied the ritual for essence transfer. Much of his knowledge is theoretical and he possesses a number of tomes and databooks on what many would consider, forbidden knowledge.
