Xa Fel acquisition proposal

Location: Xa Fel
Tag: [member="Runi Verin"]

Though the Xa Fel system and its inhabited planets were part of the Corporate Protectorate and thus under its guidance and governance, it was still rather irksome for the owner of the Nargath Holdings, Credius Nargath, to be looking upon those Kuat Diveyard orbital shipyards around the planet. This because of two reasons, he himself was aiming to overtake any and all competition within the Corporate Protectorate and as such was in desperate need of a more secure place to build the machines of war so in hgih demand with the Corporate Protectorate after his first display of the Tyrant class Missile Cruisers on behest of the government's assembly. However, the second reason was simply because he needed to have a shipyard closer to the Corporate Protectorate's core so that ships built specificically for said faction could be build and transported at a much smaller risk and cost, both financial and timewise.

Alas, rumors had already reached the Marquis' ears that the person in charge of the Kuat Driveyards was not going to be an easy person to pursuade in such endeavors. Credius knew he needed a certain leg up, a bone to throw at the owners of the Kuat Driveyards. There were a multitude of options, such as simply option to buy out the entire complex, though the Marquis feared this would most likely come to heavy resistence. A financial injection throughout the board of Kuat Driveyards might've worked a bit better, but was still reliant upon further negotiations within a stipulated contract in regards to assets and use theroff, not entirely a favorable scenario unless a controlling share of the entire company was bought. The third option was a simpler one, existing out of two parts: simply leasing the shipyards and make out a deal from there. Three all veritable options, each pertaining some risk, some requiring additional work, but in the end all reliant on the very initiation of talks to begin with.

"Amir," Pressing a button upon the plastoid desk he was using opened a com signal to one of his employees within the government building on Xa Fel from within the rather sparsely decorated and coldly designed appartment within the planet's capital city which he had bought upon his agreed contracts had been formed with The Corporate Protectorate and when he had managed to form the Testudo Reserve Fleet which he could command as a seperate entity within the faction. A sudden blue glash atop his desk was followed quickly by a holographic image of a stern and properly dressed man. "Could you contact the People of the Kuat Driveyards in orbit? Tell them that I would love to have a cordial meeting with their leadership. Perhaps, if they respond favorably, you could also make reservations at the Elector Restaurant in the Citadel tower...yes that one, just make sure there's enough seats for whomever they'd be sending."

With those words, the man cut off the communication and placed his hands together when turning his chair around to look out of the window, straight into the air, where the outline of the shipyards in orbit were clearly visible. "If I can't have them...I can always just wreck them and sell em for scraps."
