A big weapon for a big person. "Big dogs gotta eat." It was commented once by a mandalorian weaponsmith after watching Dezoraths crave for destruction and lust for combat. He was skilled and also very young. " How about this rifle?" The Gen'dai shook his head negatively. " Its not enough. What about that there?" His finger fell on a broken laser cannon attached to an disabled basilisk droid. " Thats not even a blaster. Its a cannon and it weighs as much as me." The weaponsmith explained and suddenly grew stiff as he was seized from where he stood and lifted in the air with a single armor. " Your point? What do you weigh? A credit or two?" It was all in jest and thus the work to repair and repurpose Dezoraths new heavy weapon began.
The X72vY was a laser cannon salvaged and repurposed as a personal heavy weapon for none other than Dezorath himself. This fact makes it stand out in many ways. Its a large weapon and capable of much destruction despite not being mounted on a war droid. Normally the X72vY would recharge after every shot from a power source. Laser cannons commonly used whatever they were hooked into for this. In his case the X72vY is attached to a large power back plated in beskar. Inside the pack the chamber contains a light-mass core, which is more than enough to power a laser cannon and then some. Equipped with several features. Repulsorlifts, deflector shields, gravitation field disruptors and inertial dampener grid lock core frame are just to name a few of the features that not only protect the power pack but also its user. While the deflector shield is active the wielder is protected with a adjustable bubble radius of six feet in all directions maximum. At the minimum this can be adjusted to one foot all around. Similarly to a droideka the laser cannon shots out of the deflector shield can pass right through. Its only incoming energy received that is reflected or blocked. The most dangerous and important part of the X72vY is the powerpack itself. Greatly protected, if any unwanted tampering occured within to the Light-mass core directly. The core would become unstable and prone to rupture. It would become a time bomb quite literally and eventually blow up.
