- All laser cannons have been upgraded with Dornean Plasma
- Speed demon: The X3-A Striker is an exceptionally fast starfighter, especially when operating within a planet's atmosphere
- Acrobat: The X3-A Striker is similarly maneuverable, capable of executing impressive acrobatic movements especially when operating within a planet's atmosphere
- Profile: The X3-A is quite short for a starfighter, which can make the craft more difficult to hit from long range
- I have friends everywhere: The X3-A has a rather large squadron size of 24 starfighters, larger then nearly all other Mahporeenian examples
- Skill issue: Flying the X3-A Striker demands impressive skill and reaction time from its pilots, and is really only suited those with years of piloting experience
- Atmospheric: The X3-A Striker performs best within a planet's atmosphere, though the starfighter is capable of flying within the vacuum of space
- Weak: X3-A Striker's are relatively underarmed, sporting only a total of four laser cannons and two proton torpedo launchers
- Fragile: The X3-A is also a rather fragile starfighter overall, relying on its speed and small size to survive combat engagements
The recent hostilities between the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant, the Sith Order and the Galactic Empire has led to renewed fears of a planetary invasion of Mahporeem. To prepare for such an eventuality, the Imperial Remnant has begun the development of a number of new weapons, vehicles and starships, such as the X3-A Striker.
Designed with an emphasis on speed and maneuverability, the X3-A Striker displays perhaps the most impressive performance of any starfighter employed by the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant. Few vessels are capable of keeping up with the X3-A Striker, especially when the starship is operating within the confines of a planet's atmosphere.
Of course, the X3-A's impressive performance places an immense amount of strain on its pilots, ensuring that those flying the X3-A Striker must be highly trained or experienced to get the most out of their vessel. When properly piloted, however, the X3-A Striker is nearly impossible to catch and keep up with, and the vessel excels in its role as interceptor and starfighter.
