SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Precise Targeter: The Cavalier is, first and foremost, a targeting pistol designed for sport shooters and features a number of accuracy boosting modifications.
  • Surprisingly Strong: The Cavalier packs a good wallop for its size, both in standard and stun modes, thanks to its advanced internal systems designed to get the most out of each shot.
WEAKNESSES
  • High-Priced Hardware: The Cavalier is, much like the people who buy it, expensive, delicate, and high maintenance. Expect it to need regular cleaning and repairs, especially if you handle it roughly.
  • Controlled Shooting: The Cavalier has a moderated rate of fire which makes it great for competition shooting, but less effective if you suddenly find yourself in a "target rich environment".
DESCRIPTION
Built as an improvement over the high-end X-30 "Lancer" model, the X-40 certainly lives up to the standards of its predecessor, and exceeds them. Aptly named "The Cavalier", the X-40 is designed to serve as a sport blaster for target shooting, dueling, self defense, and small-game hunting. It boasts a slim and lightweight design, but an advanced galven pattern and power cell grants the Cavalier enhanced range and stopping power over other, comparable models. The Cavalier also comes with a number of quality of life improvements, such as an autosteady gimbal for balanced shooting, a cautionary pulser to track shots, and a diagnostic chip for maintenance and analysis. At the same time, all of these features make the Cavalier a high maintenance weapon, and its status as a sporting blaster makes it a bad choice for heavy combat, since it has a relatively low rate of fire and shot capacity. Still, for many high end consumers the Cavalier is their weapon of choice for shooting, with style!
