Part of the new combat doctrine set-up by Didact stipulates the need for more stealth capabilities to shift the balance of power to their side. Didact was looking into setting up mining operations on Aeten II or another source for rich stygium that wasn't too far out of the way of the Corporate Sector. A covert mission with [member="Calina Ovmar"] to Aeten II was the opportunity to make that happen.
Their ship was taken out, but they continued the infiltration on foot.
The target was a secretive R&D facility run by the League of Voss, or so they assumed. Once they completed their mission they managed to acquire a healthy amount of stygium from the ordeal. This enabled Tash to rationalize setting up a clandestine mining operation of his own on Aeten II.
Once they had the resources available to them it took little time for Didact to start researching the possibilities that it granted them.
The main focus was on the creation of a scaleable stealth generator they could use for further covert operations. This way they wouldn't have to expand more and more resources on other designs, instead they would simply be able to scale it up or down depending on their needs.
