STANDARD FEATURES
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
STRENGTHS
  • Homebase: The Rebellion III is designed to act as a flagship for Wild Space Rebellion fleets. As such, it's fitted with the retractable forward bow that it's predecessor, the Venator Class, was famous for. This allows rapid deployment of auxiliary craft, while allowing the ship it's heavy armor to stay in tact when not deploying. The Rebellion III's hanger bay also features Si Tech employees, allowing for ships as large as corvettes to land and get rapid repairs even in the heat of battle.
  • Ghost Battleship: The Rebellion III class features state of the art stealth systems, that allow it to stalk enemy fleets unnoticed, while also allowing it to slip into systems in need of help without incurring the wrath of local patrols.
  • Speed Reaper: The Rebellion Class is surprisingly fast for it's size. Able to turn on a dime to allow it's primary guns to come to bare quickly, it's engines have been modified to not only allow it to outpace most star destroyers, but also it's hyperdrive has been tuned to allow it to microjump faster than most ships.
  • Horns of Rebellion: The multiple Horn Batteries are designed in such a way, that they can link up into a single, superheavy compound laser, able to whittle down enemy shields quickly.
WEAKNESSES
  • Defense Over Offense: Much like the twin Venators it was designed off of, the Rebellion Class is not meant to be a heavy hitting shark that standard Star Destroyer doctrine would dictate. Instead, their focus was on disabling ships first, then hitting them with it's starfighter fleet. While they can tank plenty of hits, they aren't going to be throwing haymakers back, outside of an ion battery.
  • Solo Mission: The Rebellion Class acts as the flagships of the WSR navy, but their size means that the limited resources of the WSR only allow often only 1 or 2 Rebellion class ships in a fleet. While a mighty ship, it's only so effective on it's own.
DESCRIPTION
With Si Tech's departure from the Galactic Alliance, Rara's development process of what would have been named the Venator III was disrupted. While the plans for a Venator-like ship sat on her shelf for months, the founding of the Wild Space Rebellion gave the teenage designer the excuse to dig them out and rework them. What had been planned as a mass-produced Star Destroyer, was reworked into a ship of much smaller production, but much higher quality.

No longer bound by Alliance doctrine, the ship was reworked into a command ship for Rebellion forces, capable of acting as both a stealth ship, and forward spearhead for Rebellion forces. The ship was fitted with the best that Si Tech could offer, and reworked into a ship fit to act as both shield and spear for the Rebel Navy.
