Question Wookie Aging .. Help

I am finding contradictory information. Some sources claim Wookies age slower than humans while some use the same human lifespan.

I am fleshing out a backstory and trying to figure out this.

Anybody know for sure?

From the age of 18, the Wookiees were viewed as full-fledged adults,[14] and were considered in their prime around the age of 200.[8] Throughout this lengthy period, Wookiees were expected to embrace a career and find a regular source of income so they could marry and found a family of their own.[16] Subsequently, Wookiees were qualified as "middle-aged" by 301–350, "old" by 351–399 and "venerable" at 400.[14] Elderly Wookiees were normally cared for and admired for their accumulated wisdom.[16

I read this on Wookipedia but in the cannon section it says they didn’t appear to age after 50.

So.. at what age would a Wookie be full grown and look like Chewbacca??

If Canon and Legends contradict each other, it's really just whatever you want to roll with. Could say that they look like Chewbacca around 50, and then roll with Legends on how they progress to middle-aged and whatnot.

But it's up to you.
