Bombshell Genius
"From what I've seen, Jedi that took to bounty hunting were either after criminals or Sith. Yes, there were bounties that preferred their marks alive, and these days there seems to be a double standard when it comes to Jedi in bounty hunting: when trying to catch NFU criminals, or even non-Sith FU criminals, they will try to catch them alive, but when trying to catch Sith with bounties on their heads, then they will not hesitate to go for the kill in trying to catch them"
These days, those very Jedi that took to bounty hunting, where red tape usually was not nearly as present, were responsible for much of the Jedi's image problems, but the other end of those problems were caused by their exact opposites, those Jedi who are content meditating and remaining passive; incompetent Jedi commanders of the Jor Drakas variety were mostly averted in today's environment. [member="Paige Blossom"] could readily understand the problem with red tape, and even people that were not nearly as smart as Paige was knew as much. But they were lucky not to be serving the First Order: Knights of Ren just couldn't hold anything remotely resembling a large-scale command, not trusting any of them in those roles, although they could pilot one fighter or have access to one or two squads for special missions that they knew couldn't be done on their own. Then again, the freedom from red tape (at least in relative terms) afforded to the Sith in the Sith Empire is a double-edged sword: while the organization is more agile, it is nevertheless without flaws and, in fact, very rudimentary by even SJ standards.
