Wingmen Need a Wing (Jared Ovmar)

The chill that crept into my bones is unfamiliar and acrid. The most I know about the Force is what I felt with the Jedi, and yet when I was there, they were upset and angry. Their archives or such had been knicked and much death ensued. I left quick. Now in the hives of Coruscant, I've grown enough not to bolt like a Voorpah in the forest. My face feels like an inferno, where my spine is ice cold, I shudder and grab a throw blanket from the couch, tug it around my shoulders one knee pushing up onto the couch. My breath comes as a shudder.

Oh Jared, what have you done? What had I done? I was the immediate cause, my own disgust at the men pushing its way into Jared's conscious intents. Is this act not mine? Is this not what Jared told me in the bar that I most of all should be careful of? The girl Lima has shed her massive coat, underneath is a tidy body I see isn't destroyed yet by the ravages of the glitterstim and whatever else the now deceased dealers were cutting with it. She leans over, pulls the blanket closer to my chest and puts her head precariously on my shoulder. "You're not okay. Did they get you hooked, too?"

I tug my arm and the blanket around her shoulders and bring her in again, "Don't you worry about me. I'm covered." I sip the tea-liquor and give @[member="Jared Ovmar"] a grin. "Welcome back, dude! Appreciate that, ladies Jared is bombastic good. I'm lucky to run into him."

Lima smiles up and nuzzles, I feel her eyelids getting heavy and tow both her legs up to sit across my lap. Knocking her shoes off, I interlock my hands and let her rock for a bit until her head relaxes and she drifts off. Once she's asleep which doesn't take long I look up at the others. "Coming down can be hard, specially when there's a void of stim. She'll be back around in a few minutes. . . kinda helps that she bumped into a paramedic, eh?" I check her pulse, screwing my lips together then feeling her forehead with my wrist. A bit warm, but nothing threatening.

"So Treudhi here was telling me she wants to tutor kids in the upper levels."
