The Blood Hound
Against all reason and good sense, Scherezade had been granted an office in the Tower. She'd tried to fight against it at first, claiming that she had access to almost everything and didn't hold any official leadership position anyway, but Discordia had insisted. As a result, there was a large office space near the top of the building, and it held very few things in it that were actually related to anything people would consider work-related.
For example, all the walls had been painted a hot pink. In the corner was set up a large gaming station, which she used to mostly fight others in fantasy worlds during her hours off. Oh, the irony. On the table in another corner, there were endless bags of cheese cubes. And of course, there was also random weapons stown around, some of them in pre-prototype stage, and endless rolling papers of blueprints, some of them with pictures of bunnies for some reason.
But, it was still an office place. Scherezade supposed it was easier to meet people there for work stuff instead of on her ship, to which she still gave no one access to.
Today, she'd scheduled a meeting with Fivu. They had originally met when both were in the Confederacy, but things had since changed, and Scherezade still had an open contract with him. One that she fully intended to fulfill, and this time claim the price that she'd given the last time they had a meeting such as this.
From a small hill of paper, she removed a few blueprints that were marked with his name, and a bottle of pink metal dye. Just to touch up her signature that she'd left on his foot at an untimed point in history.
Grabbing a mug of full fat cream with ice cubes, Scherezade took a sip, and grinned. They were going to make Fivu great again!
