「LEAD ME TO MY NEXT INCIDENT」
And so she, a Sith, had spared him. Zaavik hand snapped up to catch the coin. Fingers wrapped around it and his hand pulled away to drop to his side. Eyes pointed down, his head remained straight ahead, not even granting her a downward accommodation. "Fine," he remarked sharply. Stern gaze lingered for a silent moment before he turned his back, taking several steps toward the exit, unconcerned in regards to danger.

"There's good in you, given that you didn't sink that dagger between my ribs," he declared on his retreat. Turning around to face her, he continued, "But I'll spare you the preaching. It'd be a waste of time." The coin rolled between crimson fingers before being tucked into a clenched fist. The opposite hand struck the side of the ship's interior wall.

A pulse of the force surged through the ships inner workings and sparked the ECU and Repulsorengines back to life. Lights flickered back to luminosity, console lit up, engines began to roar again. "Now leave," he ordered softly. His fingers traced against the wall as he turned and began to leave. Every little nuance of the system quickly committed to memory. Or at least, what bits he could get.

Zaavik looked over his shoulder to Aradia, willing the ship's door to open for him. "Don't let me see you here again, either. You won't recieve this same mercy a third time."

With that, he trekked down the boarding ramp.

I'll cover you.

It was a promise she was worried she'd now regret. She could just take his chance and fly away-- she could move on with her life and never think about this again. It could be that simple.

Something told her it wouldn't. She didn't kill him. She told herself it was because it would have attracted attention, but that was not true. There was no one around to see, and there was no saying the number of lives she could have saved with a simple slice. Yet she didn't. In truth, she didn't know why. His words stung, leaving her as cold and hollow as the night air he stepped out into.

"I save myself."

She watched him go, fire in her eyes as she clutched her arm.

"D3," she commanded. "Get us out of here. Now."
