SYNOPSIS
A slave and child soldier escapes a hellish life in the Zeltrosian slums to become a Jedi and discovers distant family members amongst the New Jedi Order. Training and operating as a Jedi Shadow, Zaavik would accumulate various accolades for his service in conflicts against the Sith Empire and the New Imperial Order. His tenure with the Jedi would culminate with a seat on the Jedi Council, being appointed the Shadow of Knowledge and holding the order's record as the youngest Jedi ever appointed to the council.
Despite his inordinate success as a Jedi, little could stop his eventual fall to the Dark Side of the Force. Increasing cutbacks to the New Jedi's militant tendencies and growing sympathy for the Imperials created the foundation for Zaavik's disillusionment. A sith acolyte made his off-and-on inamorata would eventually become the final straw for his descent into the dark. Zaavik would receive formal training in the ways of the Sith, he would ultimately disagree with notions of the Dark Side's amorality set forth by his lover and their mutual Sith master. This would lead him to total rejection of the Sith Code and its structures while retaining a dark alignment.
Shortly after the conception of his first and only child, Zaavik separated himself from his Sith connections and set off alone to wreak havoc upon the galaxy from the shadows. Now that he's become aware of his son's presence in the universe, his motives have shifted greatly...
