LFG Where the Force Goes to Die - Myrkr Expedition

Hello! I’m starting a new chapter in the Synthetic Force arc for Liin set on Myrkr, the deadly jungle world home to ysalamiri and vornskr.

Liin has been granted sanctuary within Mandalorian space and is organizing a limited expedition to study these creatures. Most specifically why some species evolved to nullify the Force, while others hunt by sensing it. This research supports a failsafe antidote that she is developing for her synthetic Force work; in case it ever falls into the wrong hands.

This story is inspired by Predator: Badlands which includes hostile terrain, apex predators, survival over spectacle, and the sense that the jungle itself is watching.

I'm looking for both protagonists and antagonists, including:

• Mandalorians
• Hunters / trackers / survivalists
• Force users (expect discomfort)
• Scientists, medics, skeptics
• Characters for or against Liin’s Synthetic Force research

Both could be useful, ha ha! Perhaps he could be against her research from the start (the failsafe portion is only known to a very select few), but then once her true purpose is revealed to be aligned with his; he'd change sides? That's just an idea and doesn't have to be set in stone.

I don't think that any of the other Mandalorians outside of Jonah know of why she's been given sanctuary. So there isn't much that they would know regarding her situation. Outside of maybe seeing her listed on the bounty board, ha ha!
