Where in the silence can you be found (Ordo, Mandalorians)

Location: Okyaab IV
Home of Jasper and Rianna Ordo

There were reports filtering to Rianna shortly after the episode on Mandalor she headed back to Okyaab IV. There was disturbing news within each update reports of a Dark Sith Lord, and a number of deaths. Some reports had not reached her it seemed someone was keeping something from her but what was it. Had that episode on Mandalor meant that Ordo was hurt? Was he dieing?

This not knowing was hard, and worse when she could not concentrate on the force to give her the peace she desperately needed right now. It was becoming quite evident to her that her status as a Jedi of the old traditions was slowly dropping away.

As the Thranta landed Rianna had sat looking about the land before it. She wondered if anyone knew about this place. It could be hard, but it also had its rewards. Her home on Alderaan was lost to them right now, Arianna was safe, Theo, Faith, and Alyesa all safe.

She heard a beep and looked over at the console, Forces are withdrawing from Coruscant. However it seemed the Sith still had possession of it. Ordo would be home then, she hoped. She looked to the sky through the view port. It was too much to hope that it would be at the moment. She missed him, and needed to know he was alright.

Even as she sat there a nagging feeling of something wrong continued to play with her mind and her emotions. Finally able to get up, she made her way into the house he would be hungry and thirsty when he got back, he always was.

Ordo's ship the YT-2000 he had owned for ages soon dropped out of hyperspace and made its way straight for his home. It was with much grief he returned to the woman who he wanted peace for. He wanted to protect them all, Gilamar wouldn't act so Ordo had. He flew to his spot beside the thranta and walked slowly out of the ship. He had missed this place. The cool air the farm and ranch. It was just as he had left it, save for the lights in the windows. She was home.

He hurried his steps as he peeled off his buy'ce and gauntlets. He hit the quick release on his chest and back plates as he walked in and began to search for her. It felt like ages since he had held her and he wouldn't wait any longer if he didn't have to. He rushed into the kitchen and saw her there making something to eat and he smiled.

"Rianna." He said as he rushed to embrace her, "I'm soo glade you're safe."

His big arms around her he finally felt like he was right to wish for peace eternal rather than the shorter kind that always ended in pain. For her, for his family, and the families of his vode. He was glad to be home.

She had heard his ship coming down for a landing excited to know he was here she did not use any of her senses except to know of a strong life presence and that it was her riduur. When he entered the house she tried to dry her hands, wanted to find him a bowl but it was all too quick he was upon her wrapping his strong arms about her pulling her close. "OH Jasper I was so worried about you, and yes I'm fine" She planted kiss after kiss on his face so grateful that he was home wrapping her arms around his neck keeping it close. But. It was strange though he had called her Rianna, he rarely did so when they were alone.

"I have something for you to eat cyar'ika you've traveled so quickly I heard about the withdrawal early this morning" She looked up at him, she loved him so she knew what her mind was thinking. He would know her mind, but all things in good time.

"Is Coruscant lost?" she asked without letting go, the sensations of anguish she had felt on mandalore were fresh in her mind all the things she had thought. She would tell him but first they needed their reunion, their time, and for him to unwind from it all. Wherever home was it was their safe harbor.

Ordo looked at her and nodded. He had come home quickly, he had too. there were too many thing he needed to say and do before the dust settled.

"I came as quickly as I could." he said glad for her safety, "and thank you. I haven't eaten much since leaving Coruscant."

He backed away a little to look at her as if making sure it was really her and hugged her again.

"Coruscant still belongs to the Sith for now." He said not sure how to explain. His guilt over the loss of Mia still ached his big heart. "But Mia, Mia Monroe was killed, by the One Sith."

He held back genuine tears and not for the first time since his little sister fell in front of Mierin. He had to be strong for now, the galaxy needed a strong arm, and at the moment it was his that was being used.

"Dead. Oh that's awful" She looked up into his eyes she could see sadness in his aura but it was like him to hold back. Rianna raised her hand to his weather worn cheek, the tiny wrinkles around his eyes. He had seen too much of death and worried about them all. She remembered his words from Alderaan what he feared, to fail to protect them. Now was his sister and now she was gone.

She held him tightly wishing to absorb his pain. "Mia was a great warrior, she will be missed by all. They will have a service we should go. But first. You must gather your strength." It was hard to smile Coruscant in the hands of Sith. "Alderaan to is in the hands of the Sith"

She checked her own sadness. "Come sit. Drink. Let's talk."

She drew a soft breath, "what happens next? Jas'ika" she put her hand on his chest,"let me be your strength for a bit"

Ordo nodded sadly as he thought of what to say. He had reasons for what he had done but could she understand them? He looked at her and sat down in front of the drink and food she had prepared and took a slow steady sip. This was not going to be easy and the things people were already saying about him were far from the way he saw things.

He reached across the table and held open his hands to take hers. He didn't know how to explain this lightly.

"Cyar'ika, what would you say if I told you I knew a way for your family to secure peace on Alderaan?" He said trying to find the words, "and bring a peacful future for our family and even future children."

He swallowed hard. He had the power and freedom to act now but he still had done it for the sake of his family. They deserved peace.

Rianna placed her hands into his it had always amazed her at how big his hands were such an imposing figure with a heart that could break so easily.

She listened to his words, peace. "Peace for Alderaan" she said it in disbelief, "peace for our family?" What was he thinking had he found some miracle that could stop hundreds of years of mistrust and hatred.

"Cyar'ika you know that is what I seek for there to be peace, but how would you do this," she shook her head, "this difficult and daunting task?" There were wars everywhere Alderaan was but one piece of it, a small piece.

She had stopped watching his aura if she had but looked she would see the colors changing, the shifting of emotions. She would see that he was leading her down the path that some Jedi wander down. The lure of peace the lure of attaining dreams desired offered out there tempting her was it strong enough to pull her in?

Ordo sighed his chest heavy with emotion and the deep desire to see the end of a lifetime on the battle field. He looked to his wife, his riduur, her strong brown eyes, her kind face. He wanted what all husbands did, the safety of his family above all else, but on occasion, when the predators attack the heard, a famer has to fight and when disease strikes the heard he has to cull. he squeezed her hands lovingly a sign of his affection and took a breath.

"The wars sometimes have to come before peace can." he said hating the truth of it, "but unity is already beginning even now, people have allied against the Sith and the Sith for the first time are truly united."

He paused, "If I can unite the sith...think of the possibilities for the rest of the galaxy..."

He looked up into her eyes as hope and fear swelled in his chest.

Everything he said made sense right up to the last sentence, "unite the sith?" She did not pull away from him but she felt fear rising up inside her, this was not something he would say. He had no love of the sith after what they had done to him. Even after he tortured the sith female he had so much regret over it, he wouldn't just.

AND then add in that mandalorians have been told to kill Sith. She had to control her fear, control her emotions and remember this was her husband, her riduur, the one she reached for in the darkest of nights, the one who she spoke of all her concerns to. She was not sure she could hide the crack that was sure to come out when she spoke but she would listen.

"Jas'ika, ner runi, why would you want to unite the Sith?" Something at the back of her mind began to crawl. She needed to know more about the battle on Coruscant she knew that now.

Ordo felt his fear and nerves rise and fought them down as best he could.

"If the worst people in the galaxy can work together for a common goal," he began, "and prove it can be done, think what good people could do."

He rubbed her hands in his.

"I know it is not the best case, but for the galaxy to unite, sometimes there has to be something to drive them."already they are pulling together. if the bonds can be made strong enough and they wipe out the Sith, they could have lasting peace. That's worth the sacrifice of organizing them, isn't it? So the future can be brighter that the present?"

This was reasoning that showed flaws, this was reasoning that drove fear through her on a dark cold spike. She rubbed her thumbs across the back of his hands.

"So, I want to understand. You want to take what is considered to be a terrible evil in the galaxy and show all the good people what can happen when people unite in a cause. So that the good people will unite to fight against the evil"

This was a recipe for death. Rianna knew in her heart that those words could not be from Jasper. Not after all the war he had seen, all the people lost he would not want to make war to create more war.

Something had to have happened to him. There were ways to find out but she needed to be able to stay close to him and that would mean joining this reasoning.

"is that right?".

[member="Rianna Ordo"]

Ordo shook his head.

"Someone needed to do something, Rianna." he said, "Pressure makes gems ease makes decay. For this galaxy to have solid peace the pressure has to be intense or the result will crumble."

He stood not knowing for certain why he was even doing it all like this. He walked to the window and looked out.

"I can't just sit and watch anymore."

This was the defining moment since the moment he had returned home. Would she agree or disagree. Did he want her to truly understand. The only way to work out what had triggered this reaction in her riduur was for her to tell him the one thing that would twist her insides, and tear her down to the bitterness of reality.

She got up from the table and walked to the window, she laid her head on his back and slipped her arms around him, "I support whatever it is you feel you need to do, but I want to be with you. Even if I cannot help, I would like to see this through with you."

Rianna knew she would have a daily battle not only with herself, but in also figuring out what was within Jas'ika, and how could she remove it. Or was the truth that he had changed this much had the Coruscant war been too much.

"I think we should alert the Clan you are here so that they can come, what do you think?"

[member="Rianna Ordo"]

Ordo placed a Hand on hers and nodded.

"I want to be with you as long as I can." he said. His mind was turning to find a way for her to be safe while he did what he had to.

"Yes The clan should know I came back." He said sliding around to hold her to his chest. "I want you all to be safe."

He held her for a moment taking in her smell and the feel of her in his arms. It felt like ages and yet it hadn't been long. He felt like tow people sometimes lately.

"Do you want to call them or should I?"

[member="Ordo"] @Mandalorians

"I will call" Rianna would wAtch and learn. It would be evident and depending on what she found the treatment could take both their lives. She was not sure what the others would say, and she was not aware of what had transpired circumstances left untold to her.

But who would come, and what would their reactions be. Only time would tell.

Aedan Miles had been at the Clan Akaata compound unsure of what would happen once [member="Ordo"] returned so he was preparing his forces to leave for a time. He looked up as one of his men came running towards him panting and calling out something. When he got close enough Aedan froze his eyes widened narrowing his eye he barked out a quick order anger starting to flow off of the young man in massive quantities. "FINISH LOADING UP AND WAIT IN SPACE I AM TAKING MY FIGHTER!" Sprinting towards it Aedan watched as R8 saw him and opened the cockpit jumping Aedan caught the lip of the cockpit and dragged himself up into it starting it up.

Normally the trip was short but in the fighter Aedan had it was much shorter. Flying swiftly towards it he flashed over the house pulling his fighter around and kicking on the repulsors as he lowered his fighter to the ground. Leaving the shut off sequence to R8 he jogged towards the house fighting the urge to draw his sabers wanting to first see what Ordo had to say for himself. He knew that he would be easy to detect especially with the anger he felt at the moment rolling off of him in waves. He didn't know if [member="Rianna Ordo"] was here or not but he had to see what Ordo had to say for himself hopefully Aedan wouldn't have to fight him.

Rianna felt it coming towards them the heated anger she looked over at [member="Ordo"], "I think it is Aedan but I'm not sure" Rianna walked to the door and timing it just so she opened it as he stood before it.

"Hello [member="Aedan Miles"]" She stepped back she was not concerned over the weapons she felt she could handle that or that Ordo could. "I assume you are here to see Alor Ordo" The reminder that Ordo was still clan leader. But this what she felt this would come from others as well.

Aedan winces as Rianna opens the door a hint of uncertainty crossing his face as he slowly nods whispering hoarsely. "Y y y yes I am here to see Alor Ordo... I just want to know why.." In an instant the anger seems to vanish replaced by confusing and even sadness. But it soon became clear that it wasn't gone just abated. He was angry about a lot of things and had been for awhile it seemed now he was confused and hurt.

Ordo put a hand on Rianna's shoulder and rubbed it to say it was alright.

"Its ok Ri'ika." He said kindly, "I'll handle it."

Ordo stepped out in front of Aeden and hooked his thumbs into his belt.

"What's wrong son?" He said calmly, " what do you want to know why to?"

Aedan looks at Ordo his violet eyes flashing as uncertainty flashes in his eyes and he whispers. "Why are you the Dark Lord what will it achieve.... What will assisting the Sith bring about...?" Aedan looked at Ordo hoping that the man he had admired could make him understand or at least let him know what his purpose was in this. [member="Ordo"] [member="Rianna Ordo"]
