Where are my fellow pilots at?

Isaac is a neutral pilot that has defected from the Republic. Angry at the state of affairs and disinterested in the current war, Isaac drifts, doing odd jobs in his starfighter. I would love to start a thread where maybe he stumbles across pirates attacking a neutral merchant vessel or something similar to that. Sound good to anyone else?

The idea of making a pilot character has been intriguing me, recently, but I want to read some X Wing and other Star Wars pilot books beforehand, so as to do the role properly. Got any book recommendations?

Read the X-Wing series by Stackpole. They are perfect and encapsulate the entire thought process of being a pilot in Star Wars. Read a few chapters, and you will want to build your own X-Wing in no time.

Pilots are amazing! I have been looking at the various factions. I just haven't picked one out that I liked as of yet.

Sounds good! You want to defend a convoy that inevitably comes under attack from pirates? Or did you have a better idea?

If you are wanting a faction that is looking for pilots, the Fel Empire might be good for you. We have a special formation, Fel Squadron, that serves as the personal fighter pilots of the Emperor when needed, and as representatives and escorts in the wider galaxy other times. You would have free reign on what you could do, but with the support and backing of the Fel Empire as well.

But I gotta drop it here. Exodus is geared towards defectors of all kinds. We're also based entirely in space. So, we might be a good home for your guy.

Hmmm, well not sure but i guess depending what you looking for i have two peeps that could offer.....if its work your looking for Andulf may be in need of a good pilot to employ as part House Teraan. But if you look for a fellow pilot to rp with well could offer Sam who's a pilot flying for CIS?

Another pilot from the CIS checking in. Been writing him as one since the get go. As for books no real recommendations, however pick up a copy of an Ace Combat title or Rogue Squadron 3D. Or watch World War 2 documentaries about historic dogfights. Given that the Originat Trilogy dogfights were based on WW2 aerial combat, it's a good starting point.

Wow! Looks like some serious interest in fleeting/piloting. Lets get this thread going! For those of you interested in a 1on1 with me, please message me.

In the meantime, we should hash out a serious thread based on what we want to do. Anyone have any good ideas? I was thinking of maybe us coming to the rescue of a small mercantile convoy? Something similar perhaps?

I believe most of us have smaller craft?
