Location: Vanquor, Undisclosed Training Grounds

Two months, it was two months with Madam Solus that Delilah had managed to negotiate off. As she stood in the cold downpour, she could only wonder what the Twi'lek had in mind for her. The Echani had put herself through rigorous training of course, in the past she had always prided herself on physical excellence and capability. Though what Madam Solus had implied this time, it wasn't something she was use to. It was about ideals, philosophies. Training the mind, not just the body, something that was strictly forbidden in the Sith ranks. Delilah was fairly sure once her time here was done, she would be facing some level of punishment for her superiors if these activities were discovered. Delilah hadn't come as equipped as before, a mere jumpsuit, several weapons, and a datapad for potential reading materials. She had assumed that once she was done training, her career would be over, but Star might have had plans to the contrary. If nothing else, the Twi'lek was right about one thing, Delilah deserved better.

She could only hope that here, her talent could finally be recognized.

Captain Delilah Brujav

What she was about to do likely violated her treaty with the sith, then again she promised to not attack nothing didn't say she couldn't enlighten sith personnel over to her cause. Of course this was all done in secret she had only told those closest to her including Cynthia Solus Cynthia Solus her wife that she would be gone for two months to teach and train someone in need.

In a undisclosed location stardust had a small little building fit for at least 2 people tuck away in a cavern with a water fall nearby, the forest was on the outside that held dangerous game that stardust would use within her lessons to test this potential person. The tain kept on pouring as stars speeder slowed down and she stepped off as it shut down and walked towards delilah as she looked her over

when we begin this there's no going back, either you will join among the ranks of the greatest warriors within the galaxy...or I will insure no one will find you so that you may live in peace

She spoke sternly, arms behind her back as she waited now, seeing whether delilah would back down or stand up to the test

The first of many test

Hearing the whine of the speeder over the rain, Delilah's face broke out into a small smile. Star was right on time, which the Captain was rather thankful for, given the downpour she was currently witnessing. Stepping aside as Star made her approach, she gave a quick nod to the Mandalorian, keeping her duffel bag tight in hand as the Twi'lek approached. Star had been a rather gracious host, laying out all these accommodations for Delilah, and for seemingly no other reason than to bring the Sith into the fold.

Feeling the eyes of the woman glance over her, Delilah chuckled at the woman, tightening her grip on the bag ever so slightly as Star began to speak. If she believed Star would get cold feet this easily, then she would be sorely disappointed. "Madam Solus, I'm ready to begin. You brought me here for a reason, and I'd like to learn why. The sooner we begin, the sooner I can begin to understand." Stepping towards the woman, the Echani pushed back her snow white hair so it rested on the right side of her head. It had been a while since she had been in the wild like this, and with a beautiful Twi'lek woman as her mentor...well, she was a tad excited about what laid before her. "So, Madam Solus, what is the first trial? You have my fully attention."

Star turned towards the speeder which had two crates of armor, one had her own the other was some duraplast armor that looked like normal run of the mill mandalorian armor. The rain didn't lighten as she looked up towards the sky and then back towards the snow haired imperial before her as she heard thunder in the distance

your eagerness is a good sign, not even question why I've brought you here besides the promise of a possible new start...a break in your monotony

She approached the small house, it was a hunting place she had made, turning back she pointed to the crates

unload then and bring them into the house, rains too heavy to do anything out right now

She would open the door, the crates would likely weigh 70 pounds for the genuine beskar armor that was stardusts and the durasteel was 50 pounds. Should prove to show her strength

Looking towards the speeder, Delilah was a tad amused by what Star was asking her to do. Unload some crates? Yes, it was raining, but it was just two sets of boxes. Shouldn't be anything to it. She was ready for a new start, and if Star wanted her to begin with some mundane unloading, then she would do so. Glancing towards the house behind her, Delilah felt it wouldn't be much of a struggle. "I'm on it, Madam." Setting her bag on a drier section of the cave, then turning to unload the speeder.

Gripping the first container, Delilah began to lift, and was surprised that she was actually having to strain to lift it. Readjusting her grip, Delilah felt more secure in her handling of the crate, though carrying it was a tad cumbersome. Carrying the large crate, she began to bring it towards the house, trying rather hard to not slip on the wet stone under her feet. Step by step, she made her way to the house, before finally setting it by the front door, though she was breathing a tad harder than she liked to admit. "Not sure what you brought, but it's got some heft to it." Star would find it to be her set of Beskar, as it seemed Delilah was at least capable of managing that. As the Imperial went to retrieve another crate, she was a tad relieved to find this next one wasn't as heavy as she thought it to be, as she had a slightly easier time setting it back by the house; the faint bit of sweat starting to show across her brow. Chuckling, Delilah looked to the Twi'lek, expecting something else to be thrown to her way. "Well, first trial is done, anything else Madam Solus?"

She could only wonder what laid in store for her.

Star observed, arms crossed as Captain Delilah Brujav went to retrieve the first crate, it just so happened to be stars armor and the captain was definitely straining but it seemed the captain wasn't out of shape, which was good it meant the test of the trails star wouldn't have to go light on her. Nodding her head she made sure both was secured and waved delilah inside of the house

two months isn't a lot of time to teach you every, so I expect you to pay attention as we will move quickly through the lessons, but I will allow questions as I want to be sure you at least grasp it

Be no use in teaching otherwise, inside was rather basic it had a table to eat at a small kitchen and one bedroom that had two beds in it and a small storage closet and a few seats. Taking a seat stardust sat down and pulled out a data pad

we will start with the language of mandalorians known as mando'a, to be a mandalorian you must speak the language, it it's one of the tenenets most mandalorians follow known as the Resol'nare. It is the easiest to start with, take a seat

Taking a breath, Delilah listened to what the Twi'lek had to say. It made sense, she couldn't just turn into a Mandalorian within a week. It would take a tad longer than that, but Star was willing to show her the ropes. Spending a quick moment grabbing her gear, Delilah was quick to set her equipment within the house, finding that Star had the same idea.

Seeing if she could offer the Twi'lek any assistance, though it seemed unlikely that Star would need her for anything. "Lucky for you, I'm a quick learner. Shouldn't be too difficult." Delilah commented, moving indoors with the Mandalorian, taking a seat at the small table. As Star produced, a datapad, Delilah was a bit concerned about learning the Mando language, but she had undergone harder things in the past. "Right, just learning a language in a week. Shouldn't be too difficult." She chuckled, straightening out her hair as Star was to begin the language lesson.

the basics at least, I like you was not born into the culture, therefore I understand the struggle you will go through

With that out of the way stardust sat down a small holoprojector and turned it on, bringing up a picitew of the mandalorian alphabet, going over sounding each out for her to hear and try to sound out herself. Once they'd go over it a few times stardust would try something

let's try the standard greeting something simple, try saying su'cuy gar

Oh, jut the basics, no problem there right? If only. Looking at the projector, Delilah's eyes widened at the strange characters that flashed to life. It took a moment for it to register to her that they were Mandalorian characters. Blinking at the strange letters, Delilah attempted to sound them out, butchering them in the process and no doubt prompting Star to snicker at her failed attempts. It helped knowing that she wasn't the only one under taking the process, but it was a tad frustrating for the Sith to undergo.

As the language treatment seemed to hardly progress, Delilah stopped as Star mentioned the simple greeting, though the words that it apparently represented were nearly unpronounceable to the Sith. "Right, Sue'coy'gar?" She struggled with the wording, clearly messing up on the punctuation in the process, as it would be up to the Twi'lek to correct it. "It's...difficult. Learning Sith made my throat sore as all hell, but the way you have to curl your tongue just feels...unnatural."

Stardust Solus Skirae Stardust Solus Skirae

There would be no snickering, instead when she butchered the pronunciations of the letters she went over them again and again until she felt Captain Delilah Brujav had them doen, next came the harder part of putting those letters into words which again star was not surprised at the butchering of the words

su'cuy gar, theres a space between su'cuy and gar it is not a single word

She brought up a few words, tapping the console to bring the pronunciations up for delilah to see as she sat back to observe her

I suppose for me it was somewhat easier, huttnese and rhyloth involves a lot of tongue curling

Seeing the information laid out before her, Delilah had an easier time identifying what she was doing wrong thanks to Star's assistance. Delilah had never been one to give up when things got difficult. Taking in a breath, she sounded out the words in her head, trying to get them just right before attempting to repeat them as Star had instructed.

"Su'cuy gar. Su'cuy gar...... That's it right? Su'cuy gar?" She inquired, feeling that she had at least gotten that word down. Delilah had prided herself on being fluent in Sith, Binary, and Bocce, and a small amount of Huttese, though she didn't care for learning any more of the Hutt tongue. "I suppose that makes sense. I didn't much care for Huttese, though I will agree it's due in part to my disdain for the Hutts in general." She had done enough patrols in the sketchy sectors of space to know all about the Corruption of the Hutts. She definitely wasn't a fan. Returning back to the lesson, Delilah selected several words and tried to thread them together. She decided to try something nice, finding several words that seemed to work correctly, and giving it a go. "Gar jivaor kar'taylir darasuum ibi'tuur." <You look lovely today>.

Delilah of course, didn't realize exactly what she was saying, though she looked to Star for confirmation on what she had said. "I was attempting to say it's nice to see you today. Did I succeed?"

Stardust Solus Skirae Stardust Solus Skirae

Star nodded with a proud smile on her face

perfect! Little more smoother but nonetheless your just starting out so itll get smoother over time, try to not act like your clicking your tongue but smooth rolling

Star was fluent in several languages, the big four being mando'a, twilek, basic, and epica. At the mention of hurts she snarled quietly and grumbled to herself

slavers the lot of em...I can't count on my hands how many I've offed that had connections to slave operations

Huffing she pushed that aside to focus back in the lesson, watching as delilah selected a few words and then spoke causing star to...blush? No count be star felt her face heat up a little as she cleared her throat and spoke

it's nice to see you today is "bic b adramte at ret' ibi'tuur". What you said was you look lovely today

Face was still heated with a small green blush but was quickly away as it came

Taking into account the fact she didn't need to click her tongue, Delilah made a mental note about how to pronounce the words. "I'll make a note, thank you Star." She had always been more open minded than her peers, something she took a bit of pride in. After all, so many Sith were so focused on being xenophobic to observe and study the cultures of the conquered. Of course, it was likely for that reason that she never earned any accommodations within the Empire.

A smile came across her face as Delilah heard Star's reply. She agreed, with the Twi'lek absolutely on that front, many Hutts were just despicable disgusting scum. As accepting as Delilah considered herself, she had little love for the slug aliens. Most of them belonged in prison. When a blush began to show on Star's face, the captain began to fear she had said something offensive. In truth, what she had said was much worse. "O-Oh." Delilah's face exploded in red, and with her snow white hair, it was fairly apparent that the Sith was embarrassed. "Apologies, I mean, you do look lovely today, but that's not what I-" She paused, shaking her head at knowing she was only making things worse. "Right, okay, I'll...just not try that again."

So much for making up her own phrases. Just stick with the basics.

Stardust Solus Skirae Stardust Solus Skirae

nonononono no no it's ok infact make your own phrases when you said it, it was um it was perfect tly sounded out actually I uh I was actually more surpised how fluid that came out be cause ya know eh...

Star was rambling, that flushstill ever presents she cleared her throat and composed herself properly as she sat up a little and took a breath in and out

infact that's amazing progress still rough but I can at least understand you, once we get to a point you can speak least 50 percent of the team we will drop basic and speak only mando'a to help you practice it better

She was quickly trying to move the lesson along, even if a smile creeped up on her face. Moving a few reading matierls around the display she brought up the tenets or Resol'nare up on the screen to be read

now as I said at the start, to be a mandalore is to follow the Resol'nare, there is six one must follow and to not follow them is to be dar'manda, which means you are ignorant to your mandalorian heritage and your soul can not enter the manda, the six tenets are
1.wear the Armor
2.speak the language
3.defending oneself and family
4.raise your children as mandalorians
5.contribute to the clans welfare
6.rally with the mand'alore when called upon
These six basic tenets is what makes one a mandalorian, our creed we carry throughout life until we reach the manda

It seemed they were both flustered by Delilah's slip up, but at least Star seemed more amused than angry. Which was good, back in the academy she would have been beaten for such a slip of the tongue. At least here the teacher was more accepting of her trying new things.

Hearing how Star wished for the pair to proceed, Delilah took in a breath in an attempt to compose herself. No more flirting with the teacher. Even if it was by accident. "I suppose that makes sense, hopefully I'll pick it up sooner or later." She reasoned, listening to the tenants that were laid out before her. Six tenants, none of which seemed nearly as extreme as she was expecting Mandalorians to be. "That's all the core beliefs of your culture? They seem rather straightforward."

It probably didn't speak to well to the ones that couldn't follow this code, if they couldn't keep to this than what could they keep to then?

Stardust Solus Skirae Stardust Solus Skirae

our people is rather forward, there is different sectors of the mandalorians that have different codes, but ultimately all must follow the Resol'nare or face becoming dar'manda

Yet so many could not, however while gazing upon this woman she felt hope, the progress already told star the answer she needed....but yet there was still many many many weeks ahead of them. Moving a few things around she brought up the manda

those that follow the Resol'nare and either fall in battle or pass of old age are granted entranced into the manda, which is what heaven is for us, those that break the Resol'nare are barred from entering and are doomed to the nether forever

Delilah offered a small shrug of her shoulders at the comment, Mandalorians were rather straight forward truth be told. Perhaps it should have been obvious what their core beliefs were. Then again, Delilah hadn't had this much exposure to the culture before, it was possible there was a great deal more that the Empire had left out in regards to the beliefs of the Mandalorians. Which was why Delilah had a look of surprise when the mention of the nether came into play. "Mandalorian's believe in the nether? As in the nether of the force?" She mused aloud, her head tilting to the side as she tried to process this.

Everything she had come to know about the Mandalorians was their people were superstitious of the force, but the fact that they believed in the nether, or that their faith was tied to it, well it was a bit of a plot twist in the script she was reading. "I find that a tad remarkable. I had thought your people held disdain for the force. In particular force users. I wasn't aware you had your beliefs intertwined with these concepts." The former captain stroked her chin, awaiting what words the Twi'lek would offer as a reply, as she was certain Star had an explanation lined up for her. This was quite an interesting world she was delving into, one that she hoped Star would only continue to enlighten her on.

Stardust Solus Skirae Stardust Solus Skirae

some do, some dont. From what I've noted their is many heavens and such...being a force user myself I'm unsure where I shall end up...but if I believe in my code I will be with the warriors in the manda

She moved a few reading materials around before she stopped and looked to delilah as she took a deep breath in and let it out heavily

some do....many wish to see any force using mando wiped off the galaxy's face...but thankfully there is some that see the advantage of the force user especially a strong one...my belief is that the force is most definitely a galaxy spanning presences, but I do not worship it. It is a tool for me to use like any other blaster or blade, it is as evil as I make it or as good as I make it

With that she moved a few things around again before checking the time and shut it off

it's been a good bit now, I think dinner is in order for the night, tomorrow we will begin with physical training and more reading

This was all getting a little more philosophical than Delilah cared for, as the afterlife wasn't something she truly considered for herself. After all, she had no force power, she had no connection to the force. She had assumed that once she died, that was it. She would simply cease to exist. After all, history wasn't kind to those who couldn't use the force. She could list off hundreds of examples of that in the old books. Even jedi managed to steal away tactical victories with their 'Battle Meditation' nonsense. It was infuriating at times truly. "Having the force is a powerful tool. Seems foolish to dismiss the usage of such a tool given the circumstance. Especially someone of your power. I agree with your thoughts on the matter."

Delilah had little love for her Sith masters, in fact it was probably what made her so against the force in general, but at the same time she saw nothing wrong with it's mere usage. She had to assume that it was her exposure to the abuse of the force that soured her disposition towards it, but going forward she would need to rethink how she felt about it; especially if her new commander was a force user. Being told that her studies were at an end, Delilah cocked an eyebrow, trying to think the last time such things were dictated to her. Reminded her of her years in the academy. "I see, so my conditioning is to begin tomorrow? This is agreeable." Rising from the table, Delilah flexed her hand, curious as to what the woman had in store. "What did you have in mind for food tonight? I'm curious as to what Mandalorians consider to be a delicacy."

more less seeing what condition your in, long as you can keep up with standard stuff any soldier can then there shouldn't be a issue past that

She stood from her chair, moving over to the small kitchen as she started getting a large pot out and then a pan before moving to get some meat out a small fridge before some different vegetables and began to cut them up

can you get some water in that pot please? About 3 quarters way full

She said both she started getting the meat into small chunks, then moved to get some tomato past and get it into the pan along with the meat and veggies

once you get the water in put it on the burner on high

With those instructions relayed she moved to the pan as she started pulling put different types of nuts, eggs, some blue milk and flour and began to started combining them
