Question When you "follow" someone are you supposed to be notified when they post?

[Kitter Bitters]

I am wondering what happens if you follow a character? I did, and nothing happened. Am I supposed to get alerts when they respond to threads or ?

[Valor the Forsaken]

I always wonder this too I feel like you should but I never get notifications ;'<

[Kitter Bitters]

Well at least it's not just me...

Let's see what staff says. I'm sure one of them will read this.

When I follow someone I usually just lurk in the bushes outside their window. Other than that I can not be very helpful.

Do you have custom notifications turned on:

Make sure all of those are ticked? I don't believe it's supposed to notify you every time your followed profile posts.

I think the intention is that the profiles you are following are easier to access.

I do have custom alerts on, but it makes sense if it’s supposed to make followed profiles easier to find, not alert.

Thank you so much!

Check out your ‘news feed’ tab after you follow someone. It shows their latest activity, making it easier to find posts from writers you like

Whoa … we have a news feed??? Mind literally blown.

And yes I see it literally loads all the activity of the followed people. Wow. Oh my gosh thank you so much!
