In the afternoon hours of the day it had dawned on Ami that going looking for him might not have been a good idea. The others had warned her against taking on a mission no one had proposed, had told her to leave the man alone and leave the pieces where they had fallen, but it simply was not in her nature. And having learned how he had left the last meeting, laughing and accusing them of not being Jedi, storming out to not be seen again, had given her more then enough reason to want to check on him. It wasn't out of a desire to bring him back to the light, to the order he had left, no, it certainly wasn't that. But Ami knew that the fall to darkness could be a slow decent, it didn't always happen overnight, that it wasn't always noticeable. So she wanted to do was check on him and make sure he was okay, to offer him a friend should he need one.

It was almost a mirror of how her friendship with Caltin had started, minus being frozen in ice. But now she was having second thoughts, and was worrying that her behaviour, asking around for him, where he might be, what he looked like, was a bit forward. If that got back to him, he might think she was stalking him. The crunch of her boots silenced those thoughts as soft blue eyes looked around the vineyard, appreciating the view, the smell of fresh fruits ready to be made into wine, the soft breeze that tussled her hair, and through the vines. Ami could understand why Judah would hide out in a place like this. or on Naboo in general. "Alright, now where would one hide in a winery..." she mused aloud, determined not to be distracted by the sights.

The sun had already dipped past the hottest point of the day, and the breeze shifted as the lone Jedi tended to the vines which littered the vineyard Judah Lesan called home. It had been purchased on a whim after the destruction of his home on Corellia. His wife had convinced him to buy after they enjoyed a quiet meal at the chateau and sampled several of the wines. She had learned it was for sale, and, with the credits Judah had amassed over years of dishonest work before becoming a Jedi, they had purchased the grounds.
It had been several years now that Judah tended the fields alone. Katara had passed, and the Telosian Jedi found himself at a loss as what to do with his life. Yes, he had taken on work as a Jedi for hire, but that only gave him something to do when he was not tending the vines, or trying to mend the relationship with his son, JJ. Life had not been what Judah thought it would have been. There had been no happily ever after for him, and the current situation of the galaxy only reminded him of it even more.
Several months had passed since Judah had listened to a group of Jedi gathering to meet to discuss the issues of supporting the Sith against anothing other than the Bryn'adul threat. The Master Jedi found himself laughing at the things which had passed as logic coming from those who were young, and those he had known and fought beside. How was it possible the majority of Jedi could reduce what it meant to be so to something as simple as killing Sith. Judah had been part of the Army of Light. When they Sith fell, the group had disbanded only to see the One Sith rise to power. The Galactic Alliance rose and defeated the One Sith, only to be destroyed later by the Sith Empire. It was cyclical war that would wage on until the Jedi understood that keeping peace in the Galaxy did not equate to taking up the drumbeat of war.
Judah was more than content in his vineyard. The Jedi of this era disgusted him, and he was ashamed to even admit he had carried the moniker at one time. A sigh escaped his lips as he let his thoughts wander. Pruning the vines was tedious work, but the monotony of it allowed him to calm his breathing and focus on what truly mattered.
A noise startled the Jedi.
"Chit..." he cursed as the pruning sheers cut his thumb, drawing a small amount of blood.
The shadow put his finger into his mouth, ignoring the iron taste of his blood. Closing his eyes he isolated the wound through the force and healed his finger. A fresh pink scar would be visible. Judah smiled.
"It would be just my luck to cut the only finger I have that isn't mechanical," he said to himself with a chuckle as he started to walk toward where he heard the noise.
Reaching out through the force, Judah latched onto a presence, light, strong, but innocent.
He sighed.
<<"If you're looking for me, I'm heading to the small cottage on the grounds. Meet me there.">>

It should not have been a surprise when the voice touched her mind. Ami was, after all, not attempting to be stealthy or to hide her presence. But still she had turned, looked around to see if perhaps he had seen her, to see if perhaps he had been nearby, or if maybe someone else tending the vines had told him someone was looking for him. When she saw no one close by she assumed that he had sensed her through the Force. Ami had been told more then once that her presence was blinding when one was looking. And knowing that Judah had been a master of the Force, he would not have to look hard to see.

<< "I am looking for Judah Lesan, yes.." >> She replied back, hopefully that the mind she was now linked with belonged to the man she sought. Despite not knowing her feet were already carrying her in the direction of the cottage he had mentioned, as she recalled seeing one when she'd first entered the vineyard. It did not take her long to arrive, though she had once again been distracted admiring the views along the way. The cottage was quaint, nestled on the grounds like some sanctuary from the world; she could understand why he hid himself away here. Ami felt safe here, though was not careless enough to let her guard down entirely.

Ami knocked gently on the door before reaching for the handle, assuming it had been unlocked, and assuming it would be alright for her to enter given he had told her to meet him here. it was not as though she was unexpected company. "Hello? Mister Lesan?" She called out to him as she entered, not wanting to startle him. Blue eyes glanced around, not for him, but at what decorated the walls, the room, getting a sense for the type of person he was.
