Tmoxin Temi
Blood Monarch
Back on board The Scourge, Commander Temi knew that the Captain’s quarters wouldn’t be the roomiest place to finish their date, but it didn’t matter because she had a feeling based on his statement when they had departed the Bastion Ball that they weren’t going to need a lot of personal space. Normally she would have waited for an invitation from a suitor to enter his bedroom – or well in the case of the starship, a room with a bunk and private refresher – but Hans made it quite clear what he intended to do with her tonight, and with much anticipation, she followed him into his quarters. She didn’t care who saw her sneak off with the Captain – she was beyond caring what anyone thought, not the honor guard, her troops or Sgt. Major Ulysses.
It felt as if their first kiss in Pellaeon Gardens was light-years away now and Tmoxin was anxious as if they had never touched before. Even though the Hapan officer was used to feeling superior around men, those preconceptions went out the window when she was attracted to one. Right now she was quite willing to submit to whatever whim or desire he had.
She stretched cat-like onto his bunk and rested her head on her hand, her elbow propping her up. “Do you have anything to drink?” she asked. Tmoxin had already sipped quite a few glasses of champagne, enough to be tipsy. But with her mounting excitement, she felt very sober. She searched the Captain’s intense green eyes to see if he was nervous too.
