What's the deal with the name colors?

Okay this is more cor the sake of curiosity. Most everyone has blue text for their names, some have green, or yellow, or red.

What is the classification for the different name colors? For the life of me I can't find a key or legend that explains what any of them mean.

You've seen the rank titles below members' avatars? Well, the first one of these rank titles indicates the member's user group which then gives the member name its colour.

Writer accounts are green, character accounts are blue, founder accounts are orange-ish, Codex Judge accounts are yellow, Factory Judge accounts are purple, Roleplay Judge accounts are orange and Administrator accounts are red.

Nah, the tag is quite purple; has always been.

Okay new question: What's the difference between a writer account and a character account?

Character accounts are sub accounts to the Writer

[member="Gillian Katar"] your writer is the main (you can get tags for it anytime) your characters are secondary and would need 50 posts before getting tags. Thats the only difference I know of.
