Tahira Solo

I've got my ticket for the long way round
She staggered forward a step, the sting still very ripe on her derriere. The look she shot Patches was very clear: We are going to talk about this later and you will regret everything you have done.

As if to emphasize the point, a hand came up to pat Patches’ face affectionately on the cheek. Once, twice, SMACK. “He likes it rough too, don’t you sweetheart?” Wary gaze cast back to the blood-dripping sith and the non-guard mystery man.

Hello decapitator.

With the darkside seeping off the bloody man, the tension rising in the small corridor of the hutt’s place, and a random bard singer…

Err.

…it was getting a little too crowded. And she still didn’t know why the kriff they were here! Hand slipped into her pocket, thumb releasing the pin to a smoke grenade. With a quick flick of her wrist, she dropped the smoking object at their feet, hand going to grab the front of Patches shirt as the corridor flooded with white mist. Her whisper reached his ears and hopefully his alone, “Move it sweetie. We’re attracting too much attention from the guards and the bloodied guy is a little too…lightsaber happy.”

Unfortunately, she didn’t count on missing the grab of Patches’ shirt and instead, running into Mikhail.

Blast! Blast! BLAST!

With the smoke of the grenade, she couldn't make high or low of what the situation was. Muttered curses came tumbling out of her mouth, and within the earbud comm, Skye's voice could be heard, and she wasn't of a mighty fine temperament.

// GO LEFT! LEFT IS CLEAR! // she shouted, guiding them through her scope. // I KNEW this was a bad idea! //

Smoke began to fill the area as the blonde dropped a grenade. Without prior military experience, Shorn would have blown a fuse at the sight of a grenade, but as it was he happened to know the make and model in a glance. Mikhail sighed. These people were very strange. It took several seconds for smoke screen deploy adequately. It wasn't instantaneous. However, Mikhail simply stood where he was. He didn't need his eyes to feel all the presences still there with the Force. Some were panicking, yelling. It sounded like one of the females.

Bump.

Mikhail's pale blues glanced down to see a blonde head against his chest. He was slowly remembering her. That night.... when he, Ashin, and several others had wrecked the Drunken Master. She was there. Aha.

"You know, there are easier ways to get me alone." Two firm hands grasped either side of the woman's shoulders to steady her. "Oh, don't be so prudish, it's just a little blood. I'm not in the habit of killing random strangers. Relax." He smiled winsomely, despite the blood. "You and your friends are doing something. I happen to be absurdly boooored. I need excitement. What sinister schemes are you up to?"

A smoke grenade was hardly an impediment, but Sarge wasn't here for Patches or his escort. Slipping away, the Force Null man made his way deeper into the palace in order to take down his target; the Hutt him[its?]self. Smirking to himself, he fades into the background once again.

Bad idea... bad idea... BAD IDEA! were the only thoughts he could muster, as Tahira let the smoke grenade go. The last thing he needed was Sarge firing his Shotgun blindly in such tight confines. However, he heard no shots go off... for now.

Liou coe shway duh biao-tze huh hoe-tze duh ur-tze he cursed to himself, reminding himself why Tahira was on ship arrest, and why he didn't like working with Jedi. Always shooting first and asking questions later... just in a less lethal manner. Bunch of hypocrites. As if matters couldn't get worse, when Patches reached for Tahira to pull her away and make a sprint for a getaway... she was nowhere to be found.

Not being of the force using type, nor poessessing any visor or ocular devices, it appeared the only person the smoke grenades had an effect on was Patches. "Skye," he said into his earpiece. "A little help here, need some directions," he uttered, deciding it was best to get low for the time being; away from the smoke, and perhaps any chest or head level shots that may occur.
He did as instructed, and made his way to the left; or what he thought was left, finding a bit of relief from the smoke, he leaned against the wall, catching his breath, blaster out and ready to see whom else would emerge from the smoke.

Muscles wound immediately as she felt Mikhail’s hands on her shoulders. She quickly shrugged him off, realizing her mistake. She didn’t have a communication device in to hear Skye. Patches was gone…probably trying to pick-up some skirt, and she was stuck in a smoke-filled corridor with a blood-stained sith.

“Oh, really?” Chestnut brows lofted in challenge. “I think I remember you killing quite a few strangers last time we met.” She could hear the scuffle of guards not too far in the distance. “Listen, my partner and I don’t want any trouble and you look, well,” eyes traveled down the sith’s disheveled clothes. “like you need a shower,” she stated plainly. And some serious therapy help.

They were both going to get caught if they stuck around any longer. Sighing inwardly, she grabbed his arm, ignoring the blood and tugged him along. “C’mon Romeo, unless you wanna get us both killed.” They quickly cleared out of the smoke but in the opposite direction as the information broker.

Patches would kill her later…if she made it back to the ship. One thing was for sure, they were so fighting.

// ... You went right. // came the frustrated voice of the Red Blade. // BLAST IT! You have two guards coming your way! // she shouted, her scope swinging across to try and locate Tahira.

// She went left... with someone else in tow // she relayed, just prior to zooming in on a Gammorean with a heavy axe that was about to meet Patches head. A bolt of red went flying downrange with high velocity, impacting the Gammorean's skull as a single smoking hole bore through his head.

// I told you this was a bad idea! //

"Hey, you ask, I come. I'm eeeasy like that."

His expression one of sly amusement, Mikhail let the woman drag him through the smoke. They were promptly confronted by several Gammoreans. There was a sudden blur of violet. One of the pigs tottered back, Mikhail's lightsaber sticking through its neck. The blade shot back into Shorn's hand just in time to block the swinging vibroblade. Mikhail parried the blade, then beat it aside and lunged forward, sticking the fat alien through the face. Did someone say stuck pork?

Shorn turned toward @[member="Tahira Solo"]. The smoke was quickly receding. Grenades of that make didn't last for all that long. He thought he could vaguely make out the figures of her companions, @Jonathan Patches and @[member="Skye Mertaal"]. He could definitely hear the sound of combat, at least.

Reaching for his vibroblade - he didn't need to alert any other guards with blaster fire or the muzzle flash of the blaster - he felt a pair of guards approaching from his left... or was it his right... he was a bit disoriented, and wasn't quite certain, but the sound of quickly approaching, lumbering footsteps helped him gather his bearings.

Pulling the vibrobrade to his hips, and ready to thrust upwards as they neared, he exhaled slowly, steadying his nerves until they were a few meters away. He lunged towards the nearest, only to find it crumple to the ground as a blaster pierced it's head from the side. Thank you, Skye he mused to himself, jumping over the first corpse, and using the butt end of his blade, he came down fiercly on the second guards skull, styming it for a moment, when a good thorough kick knocked it to the ground. In typical fashion, it let out a grunt in protest, but that was the only sound it could muster, as it's head hit off the wall, and a final snort assured Patches it was out cold.

Dusting himself off, his head turning left and right to gather his bearings as the smoke cleared, he looked in Skye's direction and gave her a nod.

"Good thing you didn't miss," he quipped, alluding to the fact at just how close he had been to the shot. Once the smoke had cleared, there was no sign of Tahira or Mr. Red Rum. That jedi is going to cause me to go grey, he mused to himself. "We are going to need an exit strategy soon," he said into the mic for Skye, deciding it was best to do a grab and dash. Turning to what he could only assume would be the direction in which Tahira went, he checked to make sure the coast was clear, and began sprinting down the hallway.
