Discussion What New Factions Would You Like to See?

[Kitter Bitters]

This is a discussion I love to start from time to time. It's usually entertaining and sometimes it sparks cool stuff.

So what factions would you like to see? My top picks would be another "good guy" faction or a crime faction. Might also be cool to see another galaxy wide threat like the Bryn were. Miss those guys.

[Galen Tagge]

I want something like a corporate state, something like the Trade Federation or and I am just saying, TaggeCo gain territory and power or something like that. Think of it like an oil tycoon having power over a region on earth or something like that

Oh that would be cool. The all mighty credit ruling the galaxy. Let's tell Credit Wizard to get on that

[Dral-Kar'ta Saandyr]

I second this idea. I would love to see a Corpo faction. Think Darth Vader as a banker and Luke Skywalker on an infomercial selling Sham-Wows with Elon Musk as president.

[Braze]

Something entierly new

[Victport Graras]

For me, a droid based and run faction would be quite interesting. Droids in general seem to be underrepresented and more difficult to play, so a faction of them would be really neat!

Droids are for sure difficult to write. I had one and it was fun but I couldn't see it becoming my main character.

[Shinma]

Look at that big empty space in Hutt Space!

Give me Hutts!

Stupid sexy buff Rotta Hutts!

And crime!

[Kitter Bitters]

Maybe after the holidays someone will be brave enough to take on one of these projects.

Someone who isn’t me!

lol same. I am so bad at leading factions.

[Leo Vandermolen]

Here me out. A faction that protects the people of the Outer Rim. Some sort of 'Outer Rim Coalition' if you will. Something themed around the 'Outback' if you will. I think that would be awesome (if you will).

Second this.
Hutt Empire.
Tyrannical government whose rules not only allow, but support crime and provide for sponsorship of such endevours.

Could mix with rampant dystopian corporatocracy, too! What's more criminal than unchecked corporate power and greed?

[Mellifluous Magenta]

Evil droid faction!

Or Levantine Sanctum perhaps?

Word of advice for corpo faction ; start RPing a corpo now and see if you can stick with it for at least three months. A lot of people want a corpo faction until they realize they have to like...RP a corporatist.

[Kitter Bitters]

Judah Dashiell I think that’s an issue with a lot of these ideas. Fun for a bit but not a ton of staying power.

But still if people wanna give it a go I will cheer them on.
