What Lies Beneath

The time had come to find the other item the Viae had told Adzatsmam of, so he gathered what he needed and headed to the planet. While living within the One Sith territory, it wasn't long to reach their designated location. Onderon, then, it's moon; Dxun. Adzatsmam took his personal Prototype ship along with one of the Head Priests and a Sersaarai, to ensure they would be on the right path and to protect the priest. Adzatsmam didn't feel the One Sith would think of him badly in his venture, but he wasn't considered their most idealistic friend, either. At least he had the freedom of living in their territory, against the others that didn't like him or his family purely because of their species. Adzatsmam slowly landed the planet down where the Head Priest suggested, as close as they could get to where they were lead by their Viae, and what the Head Priest could sense. Adzatsmam already sent a HoloNet message request to the first Sith he ever spoke to upon returning to this galaxy, hoping he could come and assist him once more, since their first meeting he was so generous and helpful.

"GET BACK HERE!" I tripped over a rock, "I SWEAR YOU WILL BE DEAD!" I was chasing a bounty across the vast jungle so I can get some cash to buy HK-42 a ship. I fire several shots at my quarry, "Gah!" The bounty is hit in the shoulder. I run towards him as he is on the ground and then I bind his wrists together. "You better be worth it you-" I am cut short by the arrival of a ship. "Well ill be damned. Im not the only person in these parts, other than you." I walk over to where the ship lands, 'Wonder if they can give me a ride back to Iziz. That would be nice of them.' I wave at what looks like the cockpit of the craft, signifying that I am not an enemy. "Ok, Chris." "That's not my name." "It is now, act like we are hunting animals, not YOU. Or you will get more than a shot on your shoulder." I show 'Chris', my saber. "Ok..." He says sadly.

Life had been fairly eventful for Ballen-Ist, as of late. The Red Sith had met enemies and acquaintances alike, though only one truly made an impression upon the Pureblood. After meeting [member="Adzatsmam"] over Korriban, the Knight had been eager to reunite with another of his species. Ballen-Ist wanted to know all about the tribe, how it survived, and where it had been for all these years. In the recent weeks he had learned much of himself as a person, and now wanted to expand upon the knowledge he held of his people. He already knew quite a bit, but so much had been buried thanks to the sands of time.

After receiving the message, Ballen-Ist had hardly hesitated, altering his course and setting one for Onderon. It wasn't a planet he had ever been to, though legends told that it's moon, Dxun, was a place of mystery shrouded in the dark side. The Fury-class interceptor that Ballen-Ist sat within would emerge from hyperspace, revealing the green planet far away through the glass view-port. Standing within the cockpit, the Sith realized how eager he was, having been there for nearly the duration of the entire trip.

The pilot and co-pilot must have been nervous, though Ballen-Ist didn't even noticed, for he was caught in his own thoughts as always. More time would pass, and eventually the interceptor would break through Dxun's atmosphere, heading towards the surface coordinates that had been detailed. Spotting a ship ahead, Ballen-Ist would lift an arm from beneath his dark cloak, pointing at the area they would touch down in. "Land there," the Knight spoke, before immediately leaving and heading towards the ships exit.

The airtight seal of the loading ramp would disengage as it lowered, a thick mist spraying down from the ominous looking ships hull. Ballen-Ist would stride down the metallic plank, his booted feet slamming into the jungle floor as he spotted [member="Matthew (Rogue) Drevur"]. His brethren were present, the tribe leader and a few guards. Though who was this human? "Diu tuti anas? Nu sûrsona a dnitiza sosûtatus-" Ballen-Ist began, feeling his anger grow. Realizing he spoke the wrong dialect, and that this human was here probably due to coincidence, Ballen-Ist would start over. "Zyemus kia ziur j'us darval, nuyak brolin. Kam nesti mus kia Nqos?" His burning golden eyes would slowly look towards the human pair nearby as he spoke.

Adzatsmam had already left the small bridge of the ship to meet up with his small team he had made to search whever he needed to go, but the few crew that were onboard, helping him guide the ship, alerted him to some human outside trying to get his attention. This was weird to Adzatsmam, but in the end, it didn't matter.

He was still gathering his supplies before he left his ship, but by the time he opened the door and begin stepping out, it seemed his acquaintance was in something of hot pursuit. Adzatsmam smiled in appreciation of this individual being so kind to him. Hopefully with this man by Adzatsmam's side, things would go much smoother. He noticed the High Sith language, feeling it was a compliment to speak to him in such a language, but he did not understand it, unfortunately. "Nu dary nenx zenoti ar mes valia dtoga qo darval, dolega. Nu buti dasixa j'us amgavsi nuyak faejon va." He approached his friend and spoke in a hushed tone, "Mes buti stai kia krata nuo jri seniai nayeba iv zo Ari, nenx nuo midwan, kad kia tarnas nuyak tauta kioska voy dvirat iv sis amzi." But then, as he noticed his friend look at the human, he looked at him too. Looking back at his friend, he shrugged. "Nu dary nenx zenoti... nuyak mnami zodis tym buti ntifena sso tave kraud ir keliamas netolise, Nu dary nenx kais jis. Mazo, sis buti Sheesa, zo kissai. Ir sis... wo iv nuyak Sersaarai, sergeti iv saarai. Itin midwanas. Kissai valia tarnas mus xauti tave hana, Sersaarai valia daboti ji. J'us valia amukviri mus, xaz?" He asked, but whispering something as a final note, "Tym gal nenx amukviri mus, zhol buti ztavaskali" he spoke, glancing at the human nearby.

As Ballen-Ist stood, he could feel his booted feet slowly but surely begin to sink into the muddy surface of the jungle planet. The Sith hated standing around, but did so for he did need information. Patiently, he listened to [member="Adzatsmam"], not even looking at the others even as they were mentioned. The Sith couldn't careless about who they were, though if they were to be apart of this 'quest' then so be it. The Massassi spoke of a device used by a Sith Lord of old, one that would help them adapt to modern times, roughly translated. Ballen-Ist's interest was certainly piqued now, having heard of the legends and stories that surrounded Dxun.

It was impossible to say exactly what they would find, though if Adzatsmam was confident something was there, Ballen-Ist would aid him. "Iv takas, Nu valia amukviri j'us," He spoke, as if there was any chance of him passing this up. "Tyro joks mes xauti valia tarnas tu'iea bars anpiti kia temias kujasre amzi, hm?" The Knight continued, an extremely wide grin spread across his face. If he could get his hands on an ancient Sith artifact, he would surely become far more powerful. Even though Adzatsmam had said this quest was not one for powerful, it was for Ballen-Ist. That didn't mean he was going to back-stab them all or anything, but there was one thing to take care of.

Turning to face the nearby [member="Matthew (Rogue) Drevur"], Ballen-Ist would speak from beneath his metallic helmet, "They said you are forbidden to venture further. I'm inclined to agree. You and your friend may hitch a ride in my interceptor, if need be. You have clearance." The Sith concluded, before pivoting away to look towards Adzatsmam. The cloaked Pureblood would bow, lifting an arm and gesturing forward along their path. He was the leader after all, and knew where they were going.

[Less of a post/passing of time, more communication]

Adzatsmam eyed the human as he stayed by his friend. He didn't have a predispotion because of the mans Force, his strength, or how he looked. But this was a secret mission, that was very important for his people. Without their knowledge or the right power, they were stuck in feudal times. The Shahku a bit slightly worse off than feudal era understandings. This would bring them to the technologically advanced realm of the galaxy. "Dary nenx tasti, dolega. Nuo j'us zinot tarnas nun ir nuyak tauta, mazo Nu nayir tarnas j'us. Sis nayeba galia midwan ir uzdar anas Nu valia leisti j'us kia svies, visa iv dea garthaz va siela zhol. Nu lausk j'us dary kioska voy, nenx kia buti izuelse, kad j'us buti stai kia serjek nuyak tauta ir Nu. J'us buti viekis, ir zo dolega. Nu lausk tave uzdar siela buti zyemus viza?"

Ballen-Ist stood up straight, looking [member="Adzatsmam"] in the eye through his helmets visor. His smile was wider than ever, and he doubted that those around him couldn't sense the amusement he garnered from the back and forth. "Iv takas, j'us zinot niekas kia naile. Nu kian buti ayeje kia avoztuna kam nakasi arsiau," Ballen would respond, speaking truthfully. He had no intentions of tricking these people, for keeping them as allies far outweighed the benefits of attempting to stab them in the back.

Some Sith were fools who acted on instinct and greed, Ballen-Ist was not one of them. He had desires no doubt, and was extremely passionate to a degree, though always made sure to think before anything else. Sometimes it was a problem, really. "Dary j'us zinot jok nasina ant kam mes valia varmursi?" He questioned curiously, wanting to know more if there was anything. Sith artifacts usually had dangerous trials ahead of them.

[member="Ballen-Ist"]

Adzatsmam was ready to leave, he didn't have time to deal with random humans, whatever the cause. He hated putting his family in danger, and he didn't feel good being out of the safety of his family. "Su nun, tave Kissai valia vesti mus." he said as he left the human. He pointed to a nearby temple of sorts for his companion to understand what they were searching for was in there. It wasn't fae, Adzatsmam landed by it to ensure a quick exit. As they entered, it became dreadfully dark. Down into the tunnels they ventured. Adzatsmam gestured to his friend to wield his lightsaber. Adzatsmam and the Sersaarai activated their sabers to see, the appearance of flowing lava from both sabers lit up the group so brightly. "Temias vodsasyuha kelias jura, zhol lyteti kais zo lideters."

The group would venture into the jungle, a deadly silence falling upon them as they made their way towards the beacon of dark side energy. Ballen-Ist had felt it upon landing on the planet, it had rejuvenated him and granted him a new-found power unlike any before. The temple they came across was no temple at all, in fact it was an obsidian coloured trapezoidal fortress. A dirt path led towards the fortress' entrance, which was lined by many old and broken down turrets from centuries ago. The Sith Knight was sceptical at first, though he drew his lightsaber suddenly and struck out at the obsidian material that made up the fortress.

In reality, this was the entrance of Freedon Nadd's tomb, for Ballen-Ist's saber immediately bounced off of the thick Mandalorian iron structure. "Sis buti tave kapas iv Freedon Nadd, Naga Sadow ai xaari. Nu zinot tik girdeti isia," Ballen-Ist spoke quietly, though loud enough for [member="Adzatsmam"] to hear. "Tik zo fashis Tsis gal kente temias veloti. Ar j'us jostas nun, j'us valia leisti nun kia bihri tave holocron nuo j'us." They were nowhere close to their real destination, but Ballen-Ist was sure that that was what they were going to find.

[member="Ballen-Ist"]

Adzatsmam gave a confused face to his friend, every so often he glanced at the Priest. She would begin chanting in Sith so as to sense the power of the dark side, to let it pull her, and Adzatsmam would follow. "Xaz, Sadow dary gatoteze imlvasekas ant Tsis Slaves, jiso savas brolin. Anas nyâsh mes zenoti. Kad... Veloti? Kam kes dary j'us byloti iv? Tave seniai kapas buti ardyti doru dos beze iv tave kapas stupasia. Temias tezn galia tave guduma"

Over the centuries, the dark side had been able to warp the tombs structure, causing the Mandalorian iron it was crafted from to emerge onto the surface of Dxun. Walking up the black stone-like ramp that lead towards the tomb's entrance, Ballen-Ist would deactivate his saber, allowing its crimson blade of plasma to retract back into the metallic hilt. "Dar is mirtis, wo ai arpnoa gal nelsenena tapti' je'as zaist simtine velus. Anas atir nuo nyâsh apata, vageine tave jen' garthaz. Beze Sith'jari kapas galia ao veloti iv tave dvasi, ax dotigena sergeti," Ballen-Ist spoke to [member="Adzatsmam"], remembering the many stories he had been told during his youth on Korriban.

Lifting his arms, the Knight would begin to tap into the force along with the dark side, reaching out and gripping the entrance with all of his might. Beads of sweat would form upon the Red Sith's brow as he focused, tapping into his inner most negative emotions, and using them to empower himself. The massive doorway of Mandalorian armour that blocked their way would slowly but surely begin to rise, as Ballen-Ist applied his telekinetic prowess to it's form.

Dust and debris would fall gently as the door was forcefully opened, the dark side power of Dxun surprisingly Ballen-Ist with his new found strength. "Piveji, mes nayir zmogus tollis je'as tave vodsasyuha. J'us karuvis." He spoke, jerking his head forward in hopes that they would listen. If they did, Ballen-Ist would follow behind them shortly after, his concentrating easing as the slab of iron continued to prop itself up. Once they were inside, there would be a long corridor, which eventually led to a fork in the road, with only three paths to choose from.

Feeling like a third wheel, I ask Carl what they are saying, "Do you have any clue on what they are saying?" "No idea at all." I turn to face the Sith in the mask, "So does that mean we get a free ride?" Carl looks at me, "Did you just hear what he just said? We are-" I cut in, "Lost, don't forget lost." He continues, "Forbidden. We are forbidden from coming with them. You do know what that means right? Or are you deaf?" "I regret bringing you here."

Adzatsmam watched his friend pull at the door and it made him ponder for a moment, has his kind changed since his generation was last here? He agreed with him and trudged forward in front of him, urging the others to follow close. The Kissai stayed behind Adzatsmam, and the Sersaarai stayed in the back, Adzatsmam felt he was a strong enough warrior to lead this group.

"Dolega, Nu nayir uzpra... Buti j'us massassi ax kissai? Tsis Massassi buti risote viekis, kais nun, itin viekis. Anas dury gal nenx zinot buti mazo griezta nuo zo massassi. Kad tezn mazo j'us zenoti, zhol buti nenx nustia ar j'us buti nenx zo massassi. Kissai zinot nyâsh vel qyâsik midwan us zo massassi gal visaz zinot. Ax zinot tave Tsis jirai prie tave kursas?" he asked in hopes to better get to know this outsider Sith he had come to call friend. The only Sith that appreciated Adzatsmam and his people, and what they were trying to do even if not try to become the ultimate power grabber. Perhaps this one could be invited to the family... It would be the first time the Shahku ever thought to have an outsider join, but he was a Brother.

As they came to the fork in the tunnel, Adzatsmam aimed his activated lightsaber to the paths, moving out of the way to look at the Kissai. "Amzi kia zidinys, Kissai. Dasixa, threx mus is tave status qo...," he requested. The Kissai closed her eyes and brought her hands together, feeling the dark side resonate within her. As she felt its presence, she walked forward. Immediately, Adzatsmam followed straight behind. He gestured at his friend to follow down the right path with them

Once [member="Adzatsmam"] and his entourage had made it under the doorway, Ballen-Ist would follow, his steps slowly as he strained to keep the extremely heavy door of Mandalorian iron afloat. Stepping onto the other side of the tomb's entrance, the Red Sith would relax, allowing the door behind him to come crashing down back into place. "Amzi jirai nyâsh, vi zhol zinot tave Tsis. Ane visata buti dabar priasge kia tave Jidai ai, su xaari, zirgas, ir meistras. Nu buti zo Zirgas." Ballen-Ist would explain, a hint of disgust in his voice.

The Sith of old were the ones he truly admired. "Nu buti kelti vi zo massassi sulig rilmea, despite nuyak caste. Nu kirtazi abid akuyi ir nuyak ikuny vi zo ginklas. Tyro anas valia buti gana nuo tave veloti arsiau." the Knight spoke, recalling his days on Korriban, then the years alongside Darth Ferus in the New Order. Time had passed, and many things had changed indeed. Trusting the guidance of the fellow Kissai present, Ballen-Ist fell silent as Adzatsmam and his group began to lead them down one of the paths.

//

Still deep within the forest, was Ballen-Ist's Fury-class interceptor. The crew had just finished the landing procedures, and were now letting the ship relax for the time being. They hadn't expected to be taking off so early, and were surprised to hear the sound of Ballen-Ist's voice over the commlink. He spoke of allowing someone transport on the interceptor, and so the communications officer quickly jumped up and reported to the commander. [member="Matthew (Rogue) Drevur"] would be approached by a uniformed individual, who was backed by a pair of Sith infantrymen. "You there," the man began in his thick Imperial accent, lifting an arm to point at Matthew. "You've been cleared for transportation, were you paying attention?" He questioned, looking the rogue over with a judgemental expression.

[member="Ballen-Ist"]

"Dary nenx tasti, brolin." Adzatsmam continued as they ventured deeper, following the Kissai's guidance as he looked at the ruins of the tunnels. "Mes valia xisad amgavsi j'us, vi j'us zinot amgavsi mus. Dar ar j'us buti zo mazet pila, j'us buti izine kia mus." He said with confidence, smiling. Even the Sersaarai with them would agree, but there were no facial expressions from the heavily armored. Warrior. If Ballen-Ist would ever want to join the family, Adzatsmam would have a long thought and discussion with his people, but it could happen. Although... just like all Sith, he would need to prove himself. But Adzatsmam already knew how he would do that, though that was a thought for another time.

Eventually then came around a bend in the tunnel, and there was another heavy door. The Kissai stepped back, as if there was a lot of resistance of the dark side behind the door. It didn't negatively affect her, but it was a lot to react to in such a short moment. Adzatsmam braced the Kissai and helped her regain her balance. "Mmm... Vazir... kam buti pras tave dury... mes buti nenx z'kaina. Nu gal nenx stugaji." The Kissai said modestly, with a saddened voice, hoping this would not upset Adzatsmam. Adzatsmam listened to her, concerned for her and himself. He turned to look at Ballen-Ist, looking a little upset. "Brolin, zhol vaidas mes buti nenx z'kaina kia niatezi."

He had a moment more with the Kissai, and she agreed, beginning to chant a ritual. "Ar j'us nutaris kia zuti ant arsiau iv mus, kia joks tash askal tave dury, nuyak drajunas valia aukoti j'us tyűk kia zebia joks buti pras. Zhol buti tafe midwan, jorath iv mus gal garena zhol." The Kissai was summoning the power and presence of the Shahku's Viae, prepared to link herself with the Viae, and act as a funnel, or buffer, towards Ballen-Ist, if he chose to take on whatever was beyond the door that they could not. "Nu jostas j'us brolin, Nu jostas j'us valia nenx neviz nuyak drajunas." Even the Sersaarai pounded the blunt end of his saberstaff onto the ground, a kind of Sersaarai salute, showing he trusted the man that the Vazir put all his faith into. He's done nothing but help the family. If Ballen-Ist attempted to approach the door, Adzatsmam would first grab him, and give him a forearm shake, a sign of trust, compassion, and respect.

The dark corridors of Freedon Nadd's tomb seemed to stretch on forever, leading Ballen-Ist to believe that the Kissai priest had led them to their doom. However, the Knight's assumption was cut short as they arrived at yet another massive door, which seemed to be guarded by some sort of ancient Sith magic. Ballen-Ist was not surprised, for most Sith Lords were capable of placing such safeguards on their resting places, tombs especially. This particular one seemed to only allow a true Sith to enter. Turning to look at [member="Adzatsmam"] and his group as he spoke, Ballen-Ist would lift his arms, gripping both sides of his helmet and pulling it from around his neck.

His bright red skin was now visible, along with the facial tendrils and bright golden eyes that were iconic of the Sith. Looking his Massassi brother in the eyes, the Red Sith would extend his arm, taking a firm grip on Adzatsmam's upper wrist, holding it for a moment intensely. "Nu valia nenx neviz. Tave uzdar iv tave Tsis valia s'dies uri vikiâ tik kia zo Tsis. Stai Nu buti." Relinquishing his grip, the young man would step forward, standing in front of the large door as he began to exude his dark side aura. It's empowered presence would spread and focus in on the entrance before him, his raw power increased greatly thanks to the planet.

The massive Mandalorian iron doorway began to quiver and shake slightly, slowly but surely sliding away down into the floor. Not bothering to look back, Ballen-Ist would trudge ahead, a disturbance in the force causing his danger sense to flare wildly. The Kissai priest's ritual would also begin to affect him, further increasing the dark aura that constantly swam around the Knight. The giant door had opened to reveal another hallway, one that seemed to come to a dead end.

However, upon further inspection, Ballen-Ist noticed that a slab of ebony stone seemed to jut slightly from the wall, indicating a secret entrance that was only a meter wide. With the force, Ballen-Ist reached out and pulled the rectangular piece of stone from the wall, placing it to the side gently before stepping into the small circular chamber. In the middle of the room was a pedestal, and upon it was the very item that Ballen-Ist had predicted would be there. Freedon Nadd's holocron. A burning golden hue would light in the Sith's eyes as he walked forth eagerly, ignoring the subtle scurrying of parasitic feet along the ceiling...

[member=Ballen-Ist]

As Ballen-Ist entered the room beyond them, Adzatsmam dare not to look. If there was this much dark side energy, it didn't matter if he felt the ancient Nadd was worthy of the Sith title or not, and he didn't want to be cursed. Instead, he faced the Kissai and began meditating, he would also offer his own energy to the Kissai as she took the power that the Viae offered her and attempted to channel it through to Ballen-Ist. "Brolin, j'us nayir piveji. Sis kutualas buti nenx midwanas gana kia buti niate, ir zhol buti itin alsu nuo tave kissai!" Adzatsmam shouted, hoping Ballen would hear him, this ritual could only last minutes. He has never experienced this ritual first hand, but he knew it could only be used in times of emergencies. Adzatsmam did not want Ballen to die, and his people needed this artifact. The Kissai was already showing signs of anguish and exhaustion, in fact, she had never been a buffer or funnel before, that was usually the Viae. But the Viae was needed this time to send and commune the power of the Shahku family, and this poor Kissai had to endure. She may even pass out before Ballen-Ist can finish, "Kissai, nuyak midwan. Elgtis zhol kia vodsasi tu'saen." "Kad Vazir..." the Priest struggingly spoke in a soft, yet painful tone. "Nie, dary zhol, mes visa nayir savaka doru." More power began flowing through her to Ballen-Ist, and it was overwhelming, Adzatsmam, however, was beginning to lose his balance.

At this time, the Sersaarai knew what was happening, he turned and took a guarding position, facing away from the group to make sure nothing would come near. He was currently their last line of defense, and Adzatsmam would be sapped of all of his strength and would need days to recover. The Sersaarai saw it as a great sacrifice if he were to fall, but he couldn't help but regret not stepping in the place of the Vazir, but his purpose was to protect the Kissai, he was made to uphold that promise, to the Vazir.

Even though Ballen-Ist heard [member="Adzatsmam"] call after him, he remained silent as he strode through the corridor and into the hidden chamber. He was fine with having the assistance of his Kissai priest, though he already knew it would only be temporary. His power on it's own was great, but it would only last so long. He wasn't even sure what he was about to face, whether it be the spirit of Freedon Nadd himself or some sort of Technobeast guard. There was nothing however, and it seemed as if the holocron had been handed to him on a silver platter. Stepping into the small circular chamber, the Sith Knight would quickly make his way to the pedestal, nearly gasping in delight like a child as he gazed upon the treasure.

Reaching out, the man's gloved fingers were merely inches away from grasping it, then he would rule the galaxy! Okay, maybe not, but he had dreams and goals. He also had promises to keep, ones that he didn't intend on breaking. Suddenly, the force would reach out to Ballen-Ist's distracted mind, the danger sense familiar to all force sensitives flaring in his head almost painfully. Jerking his head back and gazing up at the ceiling that was only five meters away, the Red Sith was shocked to see dozens of shell-like creatures that littered the chambers ceiling. They were crawling down the walls, some even preparing to attack.

Several of the creatures began to drop from the ceiling, quickly falling towards Ballen-Ist in their attempt to attack him. He had never encountered such a creature before, and was unsure of how he should react. The Sith would begin to back pedal towards the entrance, noticing that the creatures were crawling towards it as well, attempting to trap him. Keeping his focus on them, he would unleash a blast of force energy from the core of his body, causing a wave to project outwards and slam into the hoard of small, metallic looking creatures.

For a moment, just one moment, Ballen-Ist had believed that the holocron was his for the taking. He thought that he had been accepted by the dark energy of Freedon Nadd, welcomed to take his treasure. The Orbalisks were sent flying across the room, several more dropping down from the ceiling as the dark side energy from Ballen-Ist attracted them. One of the creatures leaped at him, causing the Knight to duck and roll backwards, his body violently impacting with the nigh-indestructible material of the tomb. He felt the power of the dark side converging on his position now, most likely due to Adzatsmam's efforts. The Massassi could probably hear the scuffle in the small chamber, for it echoed outwards into the rest of the structure.

[member="Ballen-Ist"]

Adzatsmam began gritting his teeth as the strain began hitting his body, he was basically in 3/4 of his lifespan as a Sith, anyway, so that didn't help. He could hear things coming from the room behind him, it sounded like fighting, but he didn't hear is brother scream in pain or anything, so he felt confident he was okay. However, some of the creatures ventured out of the room and headed for Adzatsmam and the Kissai... the Sersaarai heard the scuttling as well, and when he turned to see what was going on, he headed straight for the creatures, activating his saberspear as he started to attack them, fending them off from Adzatsmam and the Kissai... as at this moment they could do nothing to protect themselves.

"Nie, Sersaarai!" Adzatsmam called to the guardian as the Sersaarai was going closer to the door. "Dary nenx ireti antai, mes buti ztavaskali! Finsezi stai!" "Kad Vazir," he called back to Adzatsmam, keeping calm as he kept swinging and jabbing the creatures, they just wouldn't let up, "tym buti is grezme! Tym buti supti! Ilsir... kian nyâsh!" The Sersaarai was being exhausted, he was the only one covering a swarm coming at Adzatsmam and the Kissai. "Mes buti dary viskas mes gal nuo jis, j'us nayir daboti tave Kissai!" Adzatsmam wanted to help Ballen-Ist, but he was doing everything he could, he was not powerful enough to fend off the creatures, especially as many as there were, but he was doing what he could. The Sersaarai agreed, and acted as a wall between the Kissai and Adzatsmam.

With his back against the wall, Ballen-Ist was feeling slightly overwhelmed. These creatures were new to him, and they were incredibly durable. They had not been affected at all by his force blast, aside from being sent flying away from his position. That was all that mattered at this point however, for it was a game of survival. He couldn't let these things get him. Luckily, it appeared as if they were in their infancy stages, and not yet fully grown. Not many had hatched, but enough to keep Ballen-Ist constantly moving. Pushing off of the wall he had leaned upon, the Sith would slide low along the ground, barely avoiding an Orbalisk as it lunged at his face.

Instead, it met with the wall as his body ducked further, propelling itself across the smooth iron chamber floor before standing to its full height. Now in the center of the chamber, Ballen-Ist would begin to devise a plan, noticing how all of the creatures had begun to clamber for the entrance once more. They wanted to block his escape, and feed on the power that he held. The Red Sith knew that if he wanted to survive, he would need to be fast. The force would empower his body, along with the dark side energy that was being channelled to him through the nearby Kissai priest. Feeling a bit more confident in his ability, the Knight would drop his cloak to the ground, allowing his gloved hand to seize the handle of his force sword.

Pulling it from the sheathe, a bright blue glow would illuminate the chamber, as bolts of electricity ran rapidly up and down the weapons length. The lightning aura constantly surrounded the sword, a manifestation of Ballen-Ist's dark side energy. The blade itself was not charged with electricity, though could be through the force. The many Orbalisks began their attack once again, launching themselves towards Ballen-Ist at alarming speeds. It took everything that the Knight knew to evade them, utilizing traits of Soresu to accurately fend the parasites off with his blade, while also dodging ones that came at him at the last second.

Ballen-Ist began to focus his defence, making sure to swat the creatures away back towards the entrance. One of the Orbalisks managed to catch him off guard, getting so close to his shoulder that it already began to secrete the corrosive acid within it's body. It dripped onto the Knight's small pauldron, eating away at the material before Ballen-Ist's fist smacked the creature away. He now realized that they really were trying to eat him alive, and would probably latch onto his entire body and kill him slowly. Ballen-Ist's hand stung from the impact, a few bones broken for sure as his eyes lit up with a golden fury.

He screamed in rage from the top of his lungs, bellowing as he thrust his clutched fist forwards, aiming directly at the entrance where the Orbalisks had gathered. A gigantic plume of flame would erupt from the Sith's hand, growing in size and surging forward before exploding outwards into the corridor nearby Adzatsmam. His studies had earned him some exotic techniques, and he did his best to use them in an appropriate manner. Unfortunately, the fire conjured by the dark side had done little but blast the Orbalisks out of the chamber, leaving a semi-burnt Ballen-Ist standing in a near exhausted state. He had been able to shield himself with a barrier at the last moment, his own power having taken him by surprise as well. Slowly but surely, the Knight would stagger towards the chambers exit, forgetting about the holocron that had fallen onto the ground. Adzatsmam would be able to hold off a bit longer, but things were looking grim.
