It was strange for Reina. Strange that she was with
Valery Noble
not for something related to training. Of course it made sense. Reina still needed time to adjust to everything after the change she had went through. She felt like she was making adequate progress, though she wasn't anywhere near recovered. It was taking a lot of adjustment for Reina, especially after she had realised quite quickly after being rescued that she could no longer drink her worries away. It just meant that she had to find healthier alternatives. Like meditation. If anything, whilst her body felt more strange and unwelcoming than ever, the Force felt like an old friend that comforted Reina. Yet she found herself getting distracted as Reina shook her head, turning her gaze towards Valery, giving the woman a small smile.
"...So...What's on the agenda for today?"
Another sign of the belief and trust Reina had in Valery. Reina was actually talking. With most people, Reina had been sticking to non-verbally communicating with them. She was afraid of her voice now. Afraid of what becoming an Ersansyr had done to it. Afraid of how it would affect the people around her. But Reina believed her new melodious voice wouldn't affect Valery. That didn't mean Reina was going to turn into some kind of chatterbox however. She still tried her best to speak as little as she needed to. Until she could get someone to help her understand what she could do now, she was going to be more careful than ever.
It was amusing in a way. Reina had never been an overly careful person. She had always wanted to rush into things, but now? She was learning what it meant to be patient. It was a lesson she had been trying to learn when she had lost her leg...but even that was back now. A lesson that was almost ripped away from her. Very few people would have blamed her if she went back into rushing into things, with nothing to hold her back anymore...but instead she was doing the opposite. Reina might have said it was because she was still trying to learn how to be patient...but the real answer was that Reina had lost her confidence. She didn't believe she was the same Reina as before. Not anymore.
