Background:
A small group of hired explorers had made their way to Kamino. They had been sent by Corruck to find a supposed underwater base. The information they had had been small and almost unusable, however Corruck had paid them well and they had taken the job anyway. Corruck had hoped that the expedition would find information on some of the old Kaminoan cloning techniques or schematics. Unfortunately for him, the base's power station had been damaged along with most of the computers. They were unable to collect anything beyond a biography and some minor notes of no consequence.
At the time the biography made no sense; there were no inhabitants in the station, and there had been no signs of life anywhere. They downloaded the information none the less and continued their exploration. After about half an hour, they accessed damage and decided that the facility wouldn't last much longer with structural integrity being critical within the next century. The only thing of true interest was held within the base's medbay: it was a stasis chamber, in pristine condition, aside from some power damage. They found that there was a person held within. However they decided against letting him or her out, due to the possibility of trouble. They returned to Corruck with the information and the stasis container complete with person. Corruck had his scientists pour over it, checking for traps or any other danger. From there they had released the female clone, apparently a defective version of one of the early Jango Fett clones. From the DNA samples that the scientists had collected she was very close to the original ones, not being given an advanced growth rate. She was also in an early battle in the Clone Wars, being kept in stasis until there was about a squad's worth of defective troopers for her to lead. Corruck had read through the biography many times while watching the scientists take care of Glitch, nursing her out of stasis and helping her cope with a number of symptoms attached to long term stasis.
After about a month, during which time Corruck had done his best to keep the majority of the Rebels from knowing what had been found, Corruck called in all the Rebels that he could, those that had at least some trust with him and their closest friends. The scientists had decided that enough of the effects had been overcome that Corruck could speak to her and explain what had happened, which they had all avoided talking about.
Present:
Here he was, in a room seated across a drab metal table from what must be a little over 800 year old clone. Certainly a first, he bet. She had been a soldier and well trained, her body reflected that, though it had lost some of its vitality from her time in stasis, this would likely come back over time. The scientists had also warned him about anyone sharing food with her or putting her through very strenuous tasks, her immune system would be getting a battery of vaccines and other medical injections to prepare her body for the outside world. He had called the Rebel leaders and a number of other people who he was certain could be trusted. He was going to break the news to her today. If some of the technological advancements in the medical ward hadn't told her already, she would soon find out that she wasn't any time near the Clone Wars. She hadn't even been told and now he would have to explain, both the time spent in the stasis and the loss of her squad, that she was unaware of their demise was quite saddening and would probably be quite hard on her.
Glitch was across from him, and while he felt that she wasn't a threat, he still had his pistol at his side, set to stun. His left hand never moved more than a foot away from the holster. His right hand of his mechanical arm was relaxing on the table, tapping out a piece of music he had heard softly on the metal as he thought what to say. He couldn't say much, after all she had seen the beginning of the Clone Wars, probably one of the most bloody times in the war, following the middle portion.
At last he decided to keep his tone and speech somewhat friendly and open. "Well, it is good to see you are in a near fit condition today. How are you feeling?" He clicked the recorder on as he spoke, hidden underneath the table and wirelessly connected to microphones around the room, the recording, both image recorded from the camera in the far right corner and audio would be sent to the whole Rebellion in the near future. He would also have Ultimatum and Vigilant go over the recordings, learning from this soldier of ancient times.
