What Changes with Time (Sasha Voss)

Wow, so they were going to have the talk now. Judah didn't really want to, he knew what his father and Cambria had decided. Did his mother have anything to do with that. All he knew was Cambria and her dad had almost been a thing which meant JJ wouldn't have been around. There was some wisdom to what Sash was saying, but was it because she didn't want to deal with the issue of their feelings? JJ didn't really know that, but he did know too much wine wouldn't help. His hand reached for, and pressed down on the goblet Sash had. His dark eyes looked into her mesmerizingly clear blue pools.

"If we drink too much the wine will decide for Sash. I respect you too much for that. If we decide to do anything about what we're feeling, I'd rather it not be because we got so drunk we just went for it."

If they were going to let the force guide them, then they needed to not drink so much. JJ removed his hand though before Sash could complain, or get too annoyed with him. He'd stop after this glass since it was poured already, but that was it. The food was starting to smell good, but still had about another hour at least. JJ took a stool at the breakfast bar, and leaned his elbows on the granite counter top.

"They flirted with breaking the code for each other you know? I don't really know all the details, but dad's known Auntie Bri longer than mom. There were feelings, but instead the set those aside and remained very close friends. No matter where the force takes them, they always seem to find each other again. I could live with that if I had to, the force always bringing us back together, but I don't want to. I'd just rather always have you around."
