What A Boring Assignment....Right?

Once again CJ found herself paired up with Zaria, her friend and rival for their Master's attention, on a rather boring mission handed down to them by the Black Rose Council. The pair where to meet up with a diplomat on the planet of Kesh and escort him safely back to his homeworld of Kinooine at the conclusion of the meeting between the Council and the diplomat.

CJ stood with her back leaning up against the wall waiting for Zaria to show up. The meeting was still taking place and even though there were Sisterhood troops stationed around the door to prevent anyone from trying to disrupt the meeting, she wanted to be there just in case. Besides, with her Master involved in the meeting she had nothing left to do but wait.

Her training session was done for the day, she had a full belly of decent food, and she was eager to get on with the escort mission. She felt it was minor mission handed down to them, but if her Master and the Council felt they needed this assignment then she would see it through.

Her first big mission was on the horizon. It might - from first glances - to be a simple cut and dry detail. Escort and protect some ambassador. Zaria knew that if the Council and even their shared Master had picked them then there might be something more to this. Zaria hoped anyway. CJ might be right. This could turn out to be a boring trip where the only excitement was wondering if the food served on the transport ship would stay down or come up.
Zaria just finished her last round of Teras Kasi under the instructions of her Master. Most times her Master would be present but the meetings had called her away. Zaria wiped the sweat from her brow. A quick glance to the chrono on the wall told her that she had time for a quick shower. With the shower now completed and fresh robes accounted for she made her way to the Council Hall.
Zaria saw CJ standing there looking poised and ready than ever. Lately she began to notice CJ's beauty and might have acted on it if not for them both sharing a Master. CJ had began to take her lessons and training seriously which was good. Zaria did too. Though Zaria couldn't shake the feeling that CJ was trying to outclass or outdo her in everything. Zaria believed CJ was trying to breed a rivalry between them. Zaria hoped not but if that was to be the case then she would force CJ to work twice as hard.
"Meeting still in session," Zaria asked nodding her head toward the wall. CJ wasn't only beautiful but she smelled divine. Zaria blinked twice before adding, "I hope we some excitement on this mission."

No sooner than the words came from Zaria's lips when the doors were pulled back, and out came the Black Rose Council in all it's glory. CJ tried to sneak a peek inside to catch a glimpse of the Grand Lady, but as if the Sisterhood troops could read her mind, they blocked her path. Very few have ever saw the Grand Lady, minus those that served on the Council like her Master, and CJ hoped that one day she could check that off her bucket list.

The ambassador squeezed through the Sisterhood blockade and stared first at CJ then at Zaria; sizing them up. Don't worry old man we are capable. The ambassador wore lavish clothing and for some reason CJ would probably never understand, a golden Sith-style mask. Apparently he either didn't want his features known or he was hiding some hideous disfigurement from everybody. Either way, CJ didn't care as long as the man didn't get in their way if or when the bolts began blazing around.

"We are ready....," CJ began but was silenced by a airborne hand from the ambassador. Rude.

"Yes, yes, yes. I'm ready to depart this planet immediately. Come on! What are you two waiting for?"

CJ looked over at Zaria and smirked. This was going to be one interesting trip. CJ already disliked this man. No, hated. Without speaking another word, CJ began walking behind him thinking of a million ways for the ambassador to have an accident. CJ took a deep breath and counting backwards from ten. I'll get through this without killing him myself.

Zaria rolled her eyes at the brunt and rudeness of the ambassador's words. Did he not understand they were her to protect him on his way back home? Or did he think because they were female he was superiour than both of them combined? Zaria returned the smirk back to CJ following it up with gesture of throttling him with her hands.
The rude man was walking fast like he was trying to lose his escort detail. Zaria was much shorter than the ambassador and even much shorter than her tall friend CJ. She felt like she needed to jog just to keep up with him while CJ it seemed had no problems matching him stride for stride. The group arrived at the hanger bay and the ambassador took one look at the shuttle and frowned.
"This is what you are taking me back in," the ambassador's voice berating the two girls. "Very well. Guess I can be seen riding in something worse." The ambassador led everyone into the shuttle. "If you two will excuse me but I wish to be left alone for the duration of the flight." He began walking toward his personal quarters when he rudely added, "Which means I'm not to be disturbed."
Zaria placed her hand on her weapon's hilt ready to draw it out and cut this man in two. Five minutes into this assignment and she was already wishing it was over. Zaria gave a single finger gesture to the fleeing ambassador's back and took a seat next to the transport door. "I'm going to kill him," she said to CJ.
