STRENGTHS
  • "Man versus machine" The Roon pattern is capable of converting blaster power cells into ion energy at the flick of a switch, Allowing the user to combat both organic and electrical foes.

  • "Land, Air and Sea" The nite owl variant is able to fire blaster or ionic bolts while fully submerged underwater.

  • "Biological Authority" The nite owl variant features a genetic code scanner that reads the user's unique genetic code even through clothing and armour. The weapon cannot be fired by anyone who's genetic code has not been synced to the individual weapon, Which has to be taken apart carefully to be synced to the user beforehand.
WEAKNESSES
  • "Sorcery" A lightsaber or similar energy blade can easily cut the Roon pattern in half.

  • "Follow up" The Roon pattern has a very slight delay when resetting the trigger after each pull, Making rapid fire difficult. This is countered slightly by the use of an additional pistol.

  • "Duelist's weapon" The Roon pattern was designed for battle at close to medium range in urban environments, Not long range firefights.
DESCRIPTION
The Westar-35r was initially built and issued to the
Nite Owls for law enforcement purposes within the mandalore sector. When the government that hired them fell however, These weapons were left locked on Nite Owl coverts on Mandalore. With the return of their ex-commander, Aloy Vizsla, Many flocked to her new syndicate, Who scoured the surface of mandalore for the old coverts, Recovering many of these weapons which were sent back to their homeworld and renamed The "Roon pattern". Now they are being manufactured for individuals within the syndicate, Providing it's member base with a hefty and reliable sidearm.
