Faction We're Back

When it came to the droids of the Metal Lords, Ra never knew if they heard her. She had sent out messages time and again with no reply. This time though...some had. Not knowing what had changed within them, all she knew was she pleased. Their station above Denon had been taken over, but the people that owned it now would allow her to meet there from time to time...for a price. She had paid for it today and now waited for her friends to appear.

With the droids, she had been an honored person, but not with any real power. That was fine with her though. Ra had been the leader of their merchant fleet. Business for her had slowed down when the droids had left, but a small portion remained under her command. Not feeling the need to bring the fleet, she arrived only in her personal ship. Landing it in one of the many hangers, it was nice to walk the once familiar location.

Memories came into her mind and she smiled slightly. They were good memories, but she also had some sorrow inside. The beings that built this place were now gone. That was changing though and now new people dwelled here. This was just something she would have to accept. Would her droid brothers feel the same? Even though Ra was an organic, she felt more like kin to these droids than she did organics at times. They had given her great honor and then went away. Now some of them were returning.

As she walked, a small hop came into her step and she was ready for this reunion. Arriving where the meeting was going to be, she now simply had to wait for them.

Lord Mettallum

A really buffed Metal Lord
Lord Mettallum had stayed on Loronar while the other Metal Lords went back into the void after the Betrayal. It had been years since he last had any contact with other Metal Lords or even leave his now crumbling factory. Had Lord Mettallum gone into deep space like his comrades he may have received the messages Riamah Riamah had sent to them but then he never did.

This time was different however as some strange droid had come to Lord Mettallum and informed him of the messages being sent. The droid looked like a simple protocol droid yet it left the safety of the void just to tell Lord Mettallum a message that the other Metal Lords had ignored. Lord Mettallum assumed this droid was hoping to win some favour by giving the message to Lord Mettallum.

Lord Mettallum still had one operational Church Of The Maker in the Bazaar which like his factories had seen better days and ever since a bunch of organics took control of the station has had trouble getting the supplies it needed to keep operational. The POTM Droid that normally stayed inside the Church and kept it running had received a message from Lord Mettallum.

The droid moved quickly to the location of Riamah and once it got to her without saying anything it simply gave her a simple trinket with the markings of of The Maker's Chosen.

WD-334 had received word of activity that had gained the war droids interest. The galaxy was wide and vast, so the droid had experienced gladness when a message had arrived to the droid. Immediately it made departure aboard the Obsidian Fist. The Victory-class was sent quickly throughout hyperspace. Within it's smaller captain body, the droid stared out into space. But of course, the droid was wary and had all weapons at the ready if it were to be a trap.

The ship exited from hyperspace to a station above Denon. The droid recalled this station in the time of the Metal Lords. The ship began to slow as it arrived to the station. Within the Obsidian Fist, WD-334 shifted from the captain body to the main vessel, wielding a shield and it's large size. It moved through the station to the meeting paint, pausing within. Looking to those there. "It has been a long time...why is this unit here?" The droid asked aloud to those there right now.

Proud. That was how he felt...proud. To have been able to send forth some of those in the meeting. The droid had already been waiting upon the station for them to arrive. Sitting close to the place of this meeting, having kept a close eye on those of the Metal Lords. And there she was. Riamah Riamah had arrived. Standing up, appearing as if to be a poor cloaked man followed along slowly. Of course the disguised droid was not here to kill...not yet. He had plans that needed them all.

He saw two others arrive, and one he expected to have come. Metallum. And WD-334 had also arrived there, quite soon compared to others that he expected to come. He stood off to the side, trying to remain hidden.

To others he just seemed to be a simple poor man. But he wanted to reveal himself, C-02 wished to make his reveal big enough to shock them. Cause, who didn't enjoy a bit of a shock value?

A Neebray-class cargo frigate jumped out of hyperspace, painted a plain color in order to not draw attention. From within, a Vulture Droid flew out. Zeffer. He had received a signal from an old friend of the Metal Lords, so the droid felt obligated to show up. The droid slipped into the hanger, landing quickly before looking around, and seeing some other droids and an organic. The massive droid looked at them, walking up but staying silent. He had gotten use to usually waiting for someone to speak up.

Accepting the trinket with a nod, it was a sign that Mettallum had gotten the message. However, he wasn't here himself and sent this priest as a representative for him. At least, that is how Ra took the action.

"Thank you and pass that along to Lord Mettallum for me, please."

It almost might seem odd to somebody that she thanked a droid, but Ra didn't think of these droids as mere tools. They each had a personality and were sentient in a way. Each of them had programming and had grown minds of their own. This made them unique and she might even love each of them in her own manner. Emotions for droids weren't a possibility, but respect might be. Taking that into consideration, all the people of the Metal Lords had her respect as well.

Not long after the priest had arrived, WD came to her. Turning to face him, Ra gave her friend a huge smile. She didn't care if any organics noticed her greeting or not. These were her friends and WD was one of the best she had within the Metal Lords.

"First off, how are you? It's been a very long time since we were last together. I called you here to let you know the Sith and Darkness are rising. Now is the time to make another stand and fight them again."

His greeting was slightly stiff, but that was just how he acted. If trouble ever came, Ra would trust WD to have her back. That is what counted, no matter how stiff he was.

An apparent organic approached the small gathering and caught the attention of the woman that had gathered the droids. Giving him a slightly dirty look, she wasn't actually trying to turn him away, just wanted to keep him at a distance. He stopped and stood off the side, almost as if he got her message.

There was one more arrival, a new face to Ra. Looking at it since from outward appearances one couldn't tell what the gender of a droid's programming was.

"Hello. I'm Ra'a'mah. Pleased to meet you."

Feeling a bit of a loss as she looked over the small number that had answered her call, she wondered if HK would ever decide to appear again.

"What do you think of this news?"

The POTM droid made sure to note each Metal Lord that appeared and once it was mostly clear that no more would appear for now it sent a transmission to Lord Mettallum. Lord Mettallum himself had finally made it to the Bazaar and was docking in one of the private docks that still remained under his ownership before the fall of the Metal Lords.

Finally the priest droid spoke to the people/droids around for this meeting "His Holiness will be here shortly. He apologies for being late but at the time of summoning none of his ships were in suitable condition for long distance transport" The POTM droid proceeded to leave the area and inform Lord Mettallum of the location of the meeting.

It wouldn't be long until Lord Mettallum finally appeared "apolgies that I Lord Mettallum am late but it seems the organics who usurped this station have no respect. I Lord Mettallum hope I Lord Mettallum have not missed much"

The Shield Lord kept it's eyes on Riamah as she spoke. Glancing once at an organic that had entered, watching cautiously. Before moving them back to her. "This unit has been....fine. Forgot appropriate word. Fighting pirates, clearing trade ways" WD answered clearly to her. "Crushing the many opposition! Protecting droids across the galaxy that are in need, managing the fleets remaining to the Metal Lords!"

WD-334 glanced to the priest droid that had been sent by Metallum, humming for a moment. Then blurted out some words, it's many eyes staring down the priest droid. "Late. Late as always, as Metallum always is. To the fight, to the meeting." The droid didn't get joking yet, though it was making an attempt. But it did not sound like such a joke with how it sounded in tone. And finally the very Lord did appear.

"You tend to be quite late, Metallum. Why are you this time? Just the organics? Or distracted with some shiny new weapon?" The droid asked, trying once more to make some semblance of a joke. Before turning his attention to the woman. "If we must fight, I will join the battles."

The one other organic besides Riamah was sat towards the back still. And when she looked over to him with a dirty look, the old man simply gave a little wave. This was entertaining so far. Droids all about. Simply listening to those there, grinning from under a hood. What more was there to happen within this meeting, he had to wonder. Of course, until the woman spoke and he suddenly scowled.

"Sith...Dark side? Is that all you are against? You would think droids such as yourselves would be fighting everyone! Or no one, just living it out peacefully...do droids live? Isn't that a question of existential potential?" The man asked over, smirking once more. Yes, he seemed to be not pleased with that. But who even was he, to be in such a meeting? Just putting in his input.

Zeffer looked at the group, it had only now dawned on him how little he'd interacted with the other Metal Lords. What surprised him more though was the organic their asking for help. Most organics didn't have a respect for droids, which to the large droid was highly illogical. This one seemed nice enough though, and the others apparently trusted her. Zeffer would finally speak up when the woman introduced herself to him.

"My identification is ZFR-9EI, though I often use Zeffer. I must admit... I know none of the other droids here, but your request for help is interesting. When I was a hunter, I would avoid the Sith. Now, oddly, you are asking us to fight them."

The droids that she called friends were all being rather formal and sticks in the mud. Granted it had been a long time since they had gathered like this...Ra still felt it a bit odd. Then again, they weren't human and she had been spending more time among organics than droids or her fleet.

Lord Mettallum's priest droid spoke up and said he would be arriving soon. Giving just a simple nod, they waited for him to appear. Listening to his apology for being late, Ra more or less just waved it off. With a nod, she welcomed him to join the small gathering.

"It's good to see you all again."

Her closest ally indicated he had been fine and what he had been doing. If he would understand a thumbs up, then she gave him that motion. There was one fleet he didn't manage or watch over though and that her own merchant fleet. She had taken that with her when the Metal Lords had drifted their separate ways.

Some small banter came from WD to Mettallum. Looking between the two of them, she wondered what had gotten into the processor of WD to make him say these things. Why Mettallum was late wasn't that important and he seemed to realize that. Instead of pushing the issue, he turned to Ra and indicated he would be willing to fight.

Turning her attention to the stranger in the mi of things, she did listen to what he had to say and walked over to him. He stood about her height and didn't give off anything through the Force. In a way, quite similar to her droid friends, but he equally could just be Force Dead. Doing more of a mental shrug than anything else, she waited until he was done before addressing him.

"You pretty much hit it on the mark. We are against the Sith. Do you have a problem with that? These droids here have decided to involve themselves in the affairs of the organics. What do you want here?"

Holding up a finger as Zeffer introduced himself, if he knew anything of how organics acted, it would be a signal for him to wait a moment. One the man answered, she would turn her attention to the new droid among their numbers. Getting a smile from him, she placed a hand over her heart and bowed slightly. Since Ra really held no power within the Metal Lords, they all received equal respect from her.

"I am Ra'a'mah Numare and lead the merchant fleet. That one is WD and the other is Lord Mettallum. Though I imagine you already figured that out with his entrance."

Showing just a touch of humor, depending on how the others reacted to the other organic around, she sort of felt this reunion was getting close to an end. Just as long as they didn't end up going their ways once again could stand united against the encroaching darkness.

Lord Mettallum's photo receptors would be glowing blazing red as he glared at WD-344 as the maybe still a Sparklord attempted to jest with him. Had WD-334 been a droid of lower standing or an organic Lord Mettallum would have knocked his circuits out but for now he had to deal with the droids antics. "Tell me Shield are you still a Sparklord or are they still doing that stupid lottery but never replacing those four useless rust buckets"

The organic who to Lord Mettallum's knowledge was most likely not invited to this meeting had just made and yet it seemed like he was not some passerby but infact someone who knew about this meeting happening beforehand and for one reason or another just had to join in. Lord Mettallum let out a robotic laughter as this stranger spoke
"This organic I Lord Mettallum already like., it already makes for a better Metal Lord than most I Lord Mettallum know. In my opinion we should do absolutely nothing as the logic of the illogical force shows that in time the light side normally known as Jedi will destroy the dark side normally known as the Sith, after that the Sith will come back and destroy the Jedi and then it loops around. The more sound goal should be to destroy both sides in an attempt to destroy this cycle." Turning his head to look directly at the stranger "Pray tell me what is your name organic, I Lord Mettallum rarely find a being deserving of respect right away"

Now this vulture droid who had somehow become a Metal Lord which was no surprise since even a gonk droid could become one just by requesting it. "So other than the Shield we bring a hunter. Tell me Hunter what forces are under your control or are you simply a Metal Lord with no army or fleet deciding to come to this meeting called by the Exile's Merchant for some unknown reason"

WD-334 turned to Riamah to address her. For now blowing off Metallum's return remark. But it was something the droid computed on regularly. That meeting had gone slow, and while the droid may have been voted by many, it was not...definitive. Not in the droid mind of WD-334, for all had not voted. And since then, the faction had fell into disarray. As such of this meeting.

The man spoke, and the war droid let out a beep of a groan, as if it could glare. A verbal glare. What was this man's place here? The war droid stood, staring the man down. "You have no place here. Riamah is an organic among droids, a friend. You are a fool who wishes to start something with us." Despite what Metallum said with praise to the man.

The only thing stopping WD from smashing this man about was the arrival of another. And WD-334 once more paid attention to this meeting. "Yes, do tell why you are here. What you can do."

Riamah Riamah Lord Mettallum Lord Mettallum

The man almost seemed...offended by this greeting from them, these remarks. Raising a hand to his chest, looking as if he had been undignified. "My friends, I only come here of free will! It is a free station, after all, and this amuses me!" The man said with seeming praise. Especially to Metallum. But, ultimately, the man sighed and stood. Brushing himself off, or at least it looked like it. No dust came off, only a...shimmer.

He looked to Riamah, then shared a glance to the others there. Especially the new comer. "Of course, a new droid to the ranks! I shall introduce myself, simply because they would not know me...but the rest of you? For shame." He said, the body shimmering.

What a familiar chassis that would be under the hologram, and the skeletal droid sat back down. Yellow eyes glowing, his right one flicking on and off. Plenty of scratch marks. "I feel welcomed....not really. I missed all of you, and to have none of you remember me? I have worn this face many times!" Not really, but it amused him to blame them.

The intercomn for the section that they were to meet in would crackle for a moment, still having some of the access codes as he decided to...somewhat show off.

"Now who dares call the man with a gun?"

Out near one of the starboard ports, the shimmering of the Flatwell-class Cruiser would emerge from its cloaked status. It was almost a marvel in itself that a ship that size can cloak and pass through sensors without detection. What probably was a bit more impressive was around that moment, one of the nearby doors would open up to show Haon Hafey in a bit more...studded clothing. He seemed to have been doing very well for himself, having now been supplying people with designs since the Metal Lords of the Void apparently...or so he thought, folded up. As he walked around, he would adjust his ridiculous attire as he watched the meeting group, having a forrow on his brow, as if awaiting for the trap.

"I must protest you using that signal, that is- Oh my goodness Lord Metallum! Oh you have not aged a single day!"

His serious face had turned into joy, almost skipping as he walked up rather quickly, arms outstretched for a hug but he knew better than to receive it from...previous incidents. Turning, he would see WD-334 as he smiled again, almost jumping in joy.

"Oh and you are also still around WD! Tell me, did you get upgraded? You look a bit...different."

The joy would stay as he looked over the other droids that had been presented including this large...starfighter that looked like it can squash him like a bug. He was used to them though thankfully but he was wary, looking up at the droid then at the organic.

"I am sad to say I do not know any of you three off the top of my head...wait, where is HK? He should be here...don't tell me he has passed...or AD Dash Eight? This is not some weird wake is it?"

The look was now of concern, he had obviously enjoyed his time with both of them, but now he was curious of the new arrivals and old friends, what was going on, he had no real idea.

One of the last times she had seen her friends was during the lottery where WD was picked out of all the free droids to take his place on the council. It seemed Mattallum might hold some malice to him because of it. No, it wasn't that. He appeared mad that the same four Spark Lords were still in their position of power.

As he continued to speak, Ra mentally rolled her eyes at what he said. When they were a much larger force, they might have stood a chance at taking on out one or the other. Certainly not both and she wouldn't want the Jedi destroyed anyway.

Asking who the other organic was, she still wanted to know why he was there. At least, he noticed the arrival of Zeffer as well and asked if he had any forces or just another Metal Lord that decided to join in on the meeting. Not bothering to correct him on something, she let it go by when he called her the Exile's Merchant. She had never given a vow to any droid, even HK. She was as much of a free woman as these droids were also free.

Instead of talking to her like he planned, WD turned to face the new organic and agreed with her line of questioning. Something Ra didn't do was rise to the bait set by this new person and just held her tongue, for the moment. Waiting on his answer, she noticed the small shimmer and her hands twitched just slightly. If any of the droids noticed, she now held two small lightsaber hilts in them. All she did was hold them and kept them off. None of the droids here even know she could use the Force, that she knew of.

There was a flash of anger in her eyes as he revealed who he was. Not a Force dead organic at all, but the one droid that had literally helped destroy them. And he called them friends. Any authority Ra might have had was now gone. Any justice they might want to have on C-02 was not something she could involve herself in. Thankfully a somewhat familiar voice burst in on the intercom and hopefully diffused the tense situation that had arisen.

Watching as another organic joined them, Ra had only heard of him. Where he had been when she joined the ranks as a merchant, she did not know, nor did she ask. Wondering to herself, she was curious to know if he was under the protection of a Lord or free like she was. Just something to talk about at another time.

Clearing her throat when he was finished, she held a hand out to him.

"I am Ra'a'mah Numare and HK hired me on as leader of the Merchant Fleet. Sadly, HK and AD have not responded to my calls."

Her words would imply this wasn't the first she had sent out, but it was the first time any of the droids had responded.
