The orb of light flashed and in a bright transition, the form of Serenity appeared in front of you again. She came down to hover just above the ground and looked at Kahlil.​

"Your connection to the Force is unique. You are bound to someone; two separate beings, but one in the Force. Your final step is to return and reconnect with her, restored and without reliance on the echo that remained between you both in your severance." She explained. Of all the trials he went through, this final one would likely feel to be the easiest.​

But while it wasn't another grand test with illusions and difficult tasks that could kill him, it was almost just as vital. This was his final step to be restored, the end of a journey that would mark the beginning of another.​

"Your path forward as a Jedi can be one of great success, but be aware. There is great danger on the horizon, and in time, she will seek out your help. Do not fail her, do not fail yourself, and remain true to who you are, Jedi Kahlil Zambrano." Her hand raised up, and from above, the Bastion came levitating down.​

It settled on the ground and its ramp lowered for him to get inside.​

Valery, then?

He let out a sigh of relief. No more getting trapped in a tomb, at least through following the echo. .. Actually. He paused as the Bastion was lowered, his gaze distant and unfocused. He could feel it. The Force. Not the echo he'd gotten so used to. But his own connection. The warm embrace he'd been lacking for so long. A smile formed on Kahlil's lips as he walked to his ship. Giving Serenity a thumbs up on the way.

"If there's anything I am good at, it's staying true to myself. .. Thanks." Then he left, heading back to Valery Noble . They had something wonderful to talk about.
