Welcome to the jungle we've got fun and games: Mandalorian Dominion of Yavin

It was in nature that Ana felt the most comfortable with herself. Even with the mass craziness that had been occurring all over the galaxy she still felt a sense of peace here. It was what they needed if they were to ever get planets back under Mandalorian protection or rule whichever one tickled your fancy. She doubted that this would be as simple as getting communications back up and running which was why she was still on high alert.

The jungle had not only taken people away but it had brought people back as well. This was a double edged sword as she knew quite a few people that she never wished to see again. Having them pop out of nowhere would put a wrench in all her plans.

"It shouldn't be long now," she stated turning for a moment to look at those behind her. Due to all the wildlife in the jungle it was hard to see them all. It looked though as if everyone had kept up. She hadn't heard any screams yet.

They were headed to check on the main base which she could only hope was not in shambles.

Yavin was the stewardship of the Rekali family, and specifically her grandfather, the retired Field Marshal Ember Rekali. The Massassi temples, still in the process of reconstruction after the Order of the Grey stole everything down to the wall rivets in a fit of pique, were not currently centres of learning and defense. Not yet, anyway. The secret Rekali base was elsewhere, but Rade would find the main public base seriously concerned and grateful for the help. The base, not far from the Massassi temples, was populated by Mandalorians and by Dathomir witches, quite a few of whom had disappeared.

It had been the Rekalis, and Alec specifically, who had called the other Mandos for assistance.

Shywoosk sighed, stretching in his bunk as they zoomed off to another planet. He had seen too many places not his own home. A part of his heart yearned for home, for the towering trees and cries of his people. Maybe now would be a good time to return to it, and try to lead resistance against the One Sith. But he shook his head. There could be no such doubt or desires right now. It wouldn't do. Home was no longer in those fondly remembered and beloved jungles he had grew up in. Home was now Mandalore, with his vode. It was wherever the will of his people led him. These storied warriors were more his people than the other wookies, that was for sure.

Standing, Shywwoshk made his way to the bridge, hoping to find someone who understood him so he could talk as they began their approach to Yavin. The wookie was beginning to get well known for his antics and combat stories the longer he fought with the Mando'ade and this pleased him. There was truly little he missed about his days on Ossus with the Order. But he had still happily leaped to help the Rally Master of this mission, as Anastasia was like him, one who could sense the Force, and knew more of its' ways even. However, this was his life now, and the fact brought a genuine, but still terrifying smile to his lips as he trundled into the bridge and looked about.

Yavin 4 had been a nice and quite place for the most part. Xion had lost track of how long he had been on the planet, but his time there was evident. His brown skin hovering near a bronze from all his time in the sun. His body was now packed with muscle and he knew the lay of the land. He also knew that there were some guests on the planet, what they wanted he didn't know but he wouldn't let them come and take the homes of anymore creatures of Yavin. The temples were already enough of a home if one wanted to live on the planet. Why would you constantly hurt and damage the land just to build something new? Was it for a since of pride? A since of ownership? Either way it wasn't right.

Moving through the forest his long crimson hair flowing behind him Xion dodged trees and the likes as he followed the beings that he saw through the force. Their aura's giving them away. Though one seemed to be like himself giving off a powerful yet peaceful aura. The strills that Xion had taken in soon joined him running by his side. The five had became fiercely loyal to Xion since he had taken them in. He came to a stop his breathing still normal even after all the running. One thing about living in the wild is that it trained not only your mind but your body. Reaching out in the force to the women Xion brushed her with it letting her know that she was being watched.

She didn't know these jungles as well as say the jungles on Endor but that didn't mean she couldn't locate what the group was looking for. The temples were according to her calculations straight up ahead.

Ana felt that brush with the Force which took her off guard for a second. It made no sense to her that someone would show themselves in that way. Was it a sign of I'm watching you? It could also be a sign that they were no threat but at this moment Ana had to think that they were. In the type of galaxy they were in right now Ana wasn't going to be taking any chances.

"We are being watched," she stated as she stopped suddenly and looked to where she felt the other force presence. The one which bumped into her.

"Show yourself," she stated looking into the trees. Ana wondered if those around her thought her crazy. She wasn't though, Ana knew exactly what she was doing and if this person knew what was good for them they would come out.

Yavin IV....

This was home to her, so of course she'd come and help where she could.

This was also where her mother was constantly at - so maybe she'd get lucky and see her - it felt like forever since she last saw her. The collapse of the Galaxy as everyone knew it was throwing people everywhere, her brother was still missing and she hadn't heard from her father. There was a rumor floating around the mill that her her bai'bur [member="Strider Garon"] - had an unfortunate and potentially aggressive confrontation with her mother, Aaralyn. She was told it was her mother who was the aggressor - figures.

She loved her buir, but that woman was not joking when it came to her babies. She had once seen her get rid of a nanny droid because it made [member="Aton Gyndar-Rekali"] cry over something like blue milk? She couldn't remember exactly -what- it was, but something small. She always considered Aton to be a cry baby, a momma's boy.

Mira stood close to the ship - now what was she to do? She knew she had to be here to help but [member="Anastasia Rade"] had taken off and she hadn't seen [member="Alec Rekali"] or her mother yet. Suddenly - home, wasn't feeling so comfortable anymore.

She touched the pommel of The Guardian that hung up on her left side, a sense of nervousness settling into her core. Every sound the jungle made - caused her to flinch slightly. Why? She had grown up around these sounds and noises. She should be used to them by now - maybe it was the Force being all out of whack or even the fact she truly couldn't feel anything. A shiver ran down her spine as she moved closer to the ramp of the ship, a hand resting on the compression tube as she prepared to run back up the ramp if she needed to.

Yeah - Yavin IV wasn't a place for a thirteen year old to venture out alone.

Brave or not.

A smirk crossed Xion's lips as the mandalorian women noticed him, and told him to come out. Did she truly think that they scared him? He had spent plenty of time rigging traps for just an occasion. Xion truly had no choice in the matter since his connection to the force was wavering and he couldn't depend on it forever. Peeking his head around the tree Xion finally decided to show himself, she knew where he was, but she didn't know what he was capable of. Considering she was a force user as well she should be suffering the same problem he was when it came to their connection of the force.

Holding his hands up he stepped out smiling at the mandalorian women. His long crimson hair had grown down to the center of his back and his body was now solid from his time spent in the forest. Giving her a slight wave he turned and retreated back into the forest. Xion's legs carried him as far as they could, he had no intentions of just handing himself over, and if he was chased maybe he would have a chance to talk to the group and change their minds. He was tired of seeing the environment suffer at the hands of so called superior species.

Yavin
Enroute

There were few instances the Witches of Dathomir would slip from their world. However, in the wake of disappearances of their fellow clanmates, the need to get in contact with their Mandalorian counterparts would press upon the Elder of Singing Mountain Clan.

So her path would take her to Yavin, where she would seek the last known members of the clan of one Ember Rekali. Here is to hoping that he would provide more insight on the situation at hand.

Not Ordo

Just under the upper hand.
The epic form of the great ship dropped from hyperspace and hung unmoving for a long moment. Helmetus looked out the viewport and nodded.

"I claim this world in the name of me." He said, "what is it called?"

"Yavin lord Helmetus." Major Rod said.

"Pfft. I hate it. We will call it Nivay one."

"It will be added to the map my lord."

"Damn right it will."

"HAIL HELMETUS!"

"Fething right hail me."

The work of claimimg the world done they activated their hyperdrive and went to the next world.

"What do you want? You called me first." Ana stated as she looked at the fellow force user. She wished to know what it was he wanted from her. She wasn't hear to harm the forest so if he was thinking that he was very much wrong. They were here to protect this planet not mine the trees as far as she was aware.

"I mean no harm, we mean no harm but I am getting a headache and would like answers now." She stated keeping the rifle by her side for the moment. Ana had a feeling that he wasn't really a threat to her or he wouldn't have shown himself to her in the first place.

Shywooshk hadn't found anyone to talk to, much to his dismay. It really shouldn't surprise him in all honesty. Not many humans had a desire to learn his language, and even then there was a much smaller percentage who cared, were capable of, or dedicated enough to learn more than a slight few words. Smiling, he stepped through the foilage, glancing about and sniffing, his helmet clipped to his belt, recently painted in dark grey with bright green and black, an almost old school military scheme to it, except where he had dipped his hands in black paint and slapped a handprint on both sides of the helmet where he would grab it to lift and put it on. The massive clawed hand prints gave it a distinctive, feral feel to the otherwise clean and dull paint job to him.

For once, his bowcaster was at the ready rather than hanging from it's sling, his lightsaber left clipped on his belt. One hand held the blaster weapon tightly, scanning with it, whilst the other swung his sturdy old ryyk blade and hacked foilage. Six years had seen serious regrowth, and for some reason the Rally Master he was put under thought a wookie would know the most about jungle clearance and had put him in charge of said duties. He had responded with a little less than his usual luster, but had responded all the same. In war time, the Rally Masters and Field Marshall's were the voice of the Mandalore, and every mando'ade heeded that call, or should.

Spying a particularly thick and dense bracket of vines, Shywooshk began hacking, and then pulling, and yelped in surprise as log came down and almost bounced right off his head. Instead it landed right on his left foot, causing the massive durasteel-clad warrior to jump and yelp and howl in pain. He was olding his foot off the ground and hopping up and down whining like a little child and whuffling in dismay as he tried to soothe the ache and ignored any potential damage to his ego he was causing by his antics. Right now all the wookie knew was that it hurt and he was quite upset with the tree, which he fixed with an accusatory glare.

Disappearances were not the only issues facing the Yavin temple. In the wake of the departure of the Order of the Grey, Ember Rekali -- retired Mandalorian Field Marshal and patron of the system, the planet and the temple -- had spent much of his time fixing the damage they'd done to the Force, while enlisting his granddaughters, his former Mando crew, and his Witch clan to refit the temples. That work had been going on for some time, and now the temples were just about operational.

And just in time. The Rekali family had received word that [member="Shule Windspeaker"], housemaster of the Dantooine Enclave, had evacuated his entire academy minutes before the Primeval took control of his world. Three evacuation transports full of Jedi, Jal Shey, Ithorian nature priests and Tyia Thuwisten were en route to Yavin Four, searching for safe harbor. Their arrival had been cleared with the Mandalorian patrols in the system, but it would be all hands on deck dealing with the current crises as well as taking in all these refugees.

Messages went out to [member="Mira Gyndar"], her cousin; [member="Anastasia Rade"], one of the Mandalorian Jedi associated with the Yavin temple; the Mandalorian Wookiee [member="Shywooshk"], currently on patrol; and [member="Xion Vala"], a wandering Force-user associated with the Yavin temple as well as the Dantooine enclave that was currently being evacuated. The message explained that shiploads of Forcer refugees were on their way here.

Shywooshk got the call as he had been clearing the landing pads and cutting routes out into jungle for security patrols, and happily complied. Beyond the utterly dull and boring work of clearing brush, this came from a Rekali. And even a young wookie who had barely been a padawan for the Republic knew of the name and influence of that family. Ember especially held a certain status in his mind, a man whose reputation he admired. Thumbing his ryyk blade and snorting at how dull it had become, he laid the blade on his shoulder, on occasion idly lashing out at foilage as he headed back towards the temple to meet [member="Alec Rekali"] and see if there were more productive work for him to do.

Still gleaming in fresh paint, his armor almost made him overly hot, and he shrugged and stretched at he walked, whuffling and growling in complaint of the drier heat of Yavin, so unlike his almost sauna like homeland of Kashyyk. Strolling forth, he spied a several beautiful species of trees, and stopped at each one, rumbling and growling as if talking to them, even one placing his forehead to it, and just feeling the strength of the Force in these mighty living things. The Living Force fairly hummed, as whole and well as it could in days like this where everything was chaos and insanity.

With a smile, he picked his head up from the tree right at the edge of the temple and walked into the landing bay clearing, barking at several lounging mandalorians who had supposed to been helping him clear the jungle. He motioned behind him with his thumb, indicating that the route behind him wasn't fully clear yet, and then pointed to Alec to explain why he had came back. There was more important work to do here, and he intended to help.... Yavin reminded him of home somehow, and he would restore it if he could.

"If you truly mean what you say make me a promise. No swear it." Xion said as he exited from among the trees hearing the mandalorian women's pleas. Xion had gotten the message from Dantooine first about the primeval attacking which hurt him almost as much as being stabbed with a saber. He thought of the place as a second home and now it was within the grasps of such a evil power. One that didn't respect life, only destroyed it. "I know of the others coming to this planet, but there are plenty of temple for them to live in. The forests must stand, even if they all need a home so does the wildlife." Xion stated his voice heavy with despair he would have been crying if he could. All the life that had been lost on dantooine, all due to the primeval.

"And swear to me that the Primeval will fall. They have no claims on this galaxy and do not deserve to be here. They destroy all they come across. Abusing the land and forming it into something desolent of hope or life. These things I can not stand for."

Shule Windspeaker, longtime Mandalorian citizen, exited hyperspace over Yavin Four in an Incom E-25. The Primeval had let them go -- him, another half squadron of E-25s, and three light freighters loaded with Lightsiders -- and even after flying a few thousand parsecs he remained uneasy about that. They'd been spared for some purpose. He'd swept all ten ships for tracking beacons, twice, and every Jedi, Jal Shey, Thuwisten and Ithorian priest aboard had been cleared multiple times over. He had no reason to be as uneasy as he was.

His small convoy was expected, and the Rekali-affiliated forces patrolling over Yavin Four waved them on through. In short order, his band of refugees settled down at the Massassi temples.

Walking up to Alec, the wookie mad a wave, growling a whuffling greeting in shyrwook and smiling. There was no one here who would understand him, but at least most here had stopped recoiling and running away from him when he waved and smiled. There was some progress there at least, even if miniscule. The green eyed wookie stood as invitingly as he could in his grey and green armor, which is to say he looked slightly less intimidating than a rabid strill or rancor. Try as he might, his sheer size just made him look menacing and dangerous some times. Just didn't matter what he did really. Once folks got to know him though, they'd know he took as much pleasure in growing things and cooking as he did fighting.

As the ships came in, he worked hard to keep his mind cleared and calm, his aura soothing and helpful. No one else appeared bothered, in fact they all appeared eager and excited, so he decided to follow their lead, and only kept a cautionary distance back, cocking his head to the side and waiting, his hand unnoticed going to hover over the hilt of his lightsaber. It didn't quite grip the blade, but it was a subconcious sign of nerves from the young wookie, a sign of both his immaturity and worry for his new family and people, and their friends on Dantooine who had been so negatively impacted lately.

It sounded like he spoke for the trees which had no voice of their very own. In her opinion it was noble of him to do so. Ana herself had no quarrels with the trees or anything else in the forest. She had always been fond of nature and wasn't hear to harm it in any way only get back the temples. They needed to secure the planet before someone else came in and did it for them.

"I promise you that no harm will come to the trees on this planet. We are trying to protect it from others whom would come in and destroy it as you said Primeval is bulldozing planets as they go."

Ana could speak to Az about this when he returned as Ana firmly believed that he would do but she couldn't guarantee things. He was more likely to listen to her than others but still she couldn't swear to him.

"It's our plan to take back what is ours and rid the galaxy of this menace. They have not only destroyed the land by enslaved the citizens as well. This will not be tolerated. You know this forest better than I, where are the temples?"

Verd Skirata

Fancy flyin' and good fightin' make for a good day
[member="Shywooshk"] Alec Rekali

"Hey, you bunch of oafs! The wookie wants you to start helping him clear the path." Verd said quite loudly. "The Name is Verd Skirata." He said to the wookie, "And yours?" he asked holding out his hand. "Nice to meet you Shywooshk. You do know it isn't wise to upset a wookie right?" He turned to the other mando that was just lounging around on the temple steps. "They have been known to rip the arms off of those who make them angry. Come on, lets go clear that path." He said turning towards the faint trail that Shywoosk had indicated. "Hey Shywoosk, you seem a little bit irritated, why don't we talk about it while i give you a hand?" Skirata unsheathed his beskaad to help hack through trees. "I need someone to talk to anyhow."

Krayt-Class Light Cruiser
Enroute to Yavin
...they'd met on Myrkr, journeyed to Dantooine before it was overtaken by the Primeval and now they had set a course for Yavin. The Krayt-Class Light Cruiser came out of hyperspace in a flash, a subtle -pop- invading the ears of the crew at the same time and onboard Naimes Ahn-Dross would look at the planet his vessel had come to orbit around while he looked from a viewport on the bridge. All around him the crew of the ship were buzzing. As Naimes had promised they'd traveled from one front to the next seeking to help retake all of the lost territory that had been lost to the Mandalorians in what might have been one of the greatest mysteries the galaxy had seen to date. All those people just vanished into thin air or so it seemed...

...almost immediately after coming out of hyperspace Naimes would have noticed the convoy that was loaded with lightsiders while a thoughtful expression melted across his features...
"Refuges from Dantooine."...turning his head he'd look over towards Cennika Hawk whom he'd have invited to join him on the bridge before they left hyperspace..."Tragic events play out to be sure. These Primeval are cutting a deadly path across the galaxy."...not as harsh as the Sith one could argue however just as dark and Naimes would note that if they hadn't done so already the two factions might ally with one another in the future to consolidate their power. Now that would be tragic for the rest of the galaxy without question...

...Drop Ships would be prepared to take them to the surface but before that could occur Naimes would patch into a local frequency and establish contact with the officer in charge of this mission..
."Rally Master Rade."...he stated clearly though calmly..."I am Rally Master Ahn-Dross. We've come to assist you in your mission."...comms would go silent then and Naimes would let his attention shift however he remained patched into the frequency incase a reply was offered. Looking over at Cennika at that point he'd have asked her..."Shall we?"...before moving to a turbolift from the bridge that would take them towards hangar bay where Drop Ships awaited. Already dressed in his Beskar'gam Naimes didn't look completely intimidating, his armor was never designed to make his enemies fear him, however his movements would confirm he knew how to handle himself, all of them chosen carefully, and Longtooth, sheathed across his back, was a constant reminder of his experience...

Turning his head as he watched the odd Mandalorian walk up to him, chatter at him in basic as if the two of them were carrying on a conversation, and then head back out to the jungle with the squad of mandalorians he had been directing. The massive warrior shrugged his heavy shoulders, causing the epaulette like flaps of armor to clank and flap almost like stunted stub-wings, and looked about, eyeing [member="Alec Rekali"] and the sky, waiting still for orders as he shifted his bowcaster to a relaxed position and checked the ammo counter again for the fifth time.

With a slight bit of hesitation, Shywooshk reached out to the Force and began to meditate, emptying himself of all things but the Force, trying to both calm his nerves and sense perhaps some of what was going on. There was no doubt about it though, he really, really and truly needed a vocabulator unit badly so his vode could understand him. But truth be told he was not a rich wookie, or even a prosperous mandalorian, and he didn't even know the first place to begin looking for such a device, let along accquire it.
