Weekend at Vael'roth's [Lilith]

The Kon Tower on Vaynai stood tall beachside on the planet of Vaynai. One of Vael's more preffered vacation homes, the Kon Tower would be the site of a little party Vael was throwing to celebrate, well, being alive. Vael never really had a reason for some of his parties. He just liked showing off his money to others. What was special about this party was that it was to be a masquerade ball. Masks, elegant clothing, the works. It was bound to be a glorious ball.

Vael laid on the beach just outside of his home wearing a simple pair of swimming shorts with his hair bound into a pony tail. He sipped from his glass of Corelian rum and bathed in the shining sun.

Being a simple, kind of poor woman, Lilith wasn't normally invited to anywhere. But a few days ago she had received an invitation to a masquerade ball, which was kind of strange. Judging by the invitation, it had to be a powerful party organized by a powerful person... by a person who has a lot of money. So Lilith decided, that since she got an invitation, she'll have to go no matter what. She could be the poorest person there and possibly she would never had a beautiful dress, but she wasn't scared because of that.

She had searched through her wardrobe, but she had nothing to wear. There were a few dressed, but they were more like... nightclub dresses. So she had to spend some money again to buy everything she'll need.

Time passed and the day the party was set to happen came. Lilith was on her ship, dressing up and doing make-up. She had bought a red dress which was, of course, more beautiful than she wanted to wear. But she had to deal with it. She had also found a gold mask for the ball. And by found, I mean, that she took it from a recycle bin. But it was pretty, so she decided to use it.

Night descended upon Vaynai and the guests had begun arriving. Vael was up in his master bedroom, preparing for the night. He managed to get a well made suit and regal mask imported onto the planet before the ball. Vael put on his attire for the night and headed downstairs to join in on the already begun festivities.

Many bigwigs and socialites made it to the Kon Estate on Vaynai and each and everyone looked impeccably marvelous. Not wanting to keep his guests waiting for too long, he descended the last fligiht of stairs onto the main floor and began speaking with his guests. "Ah, Baron Jotha. It's good to see you've arrived. Please, enjoy yourself." Vael said to a noble from a far off planet. He continued greeting his guests until he managed to find his way to a drink waitress where he grabbed a small glass of rum and began sipping it's sweet taste.

| ~Near the Kon Tower~ |

After some time, Lilith was finally on the surface of Vaynai. Finding the Kon Tower wasn't actually too hard. But landing near it was. She didn't know where she can land. Neither did she know where she should actually be or where she should go. But she saw a few other people going somewhere, so she followed them. The fact, that they were in clothes which were only suitable for balls, made Lilith really happy. She felt a lot better now, but she still had problems. She didn't know how to be, how to eat, how to act and whatever else she would need to do. She can't even dance.

Lilith entered the building with the few other people, but after that, they went into different places. The group turned right and started moving towards a table or something similar, but Lilith decided to look around a bit. When she met people, she politely greeted them and talked a bit, but she had actually no interest in them. It was polite, though.

Vael was enjoying himself but he facial expressions did not show it. Sure, he loved the social gatherings he attended and have thrown, but there was always something missing. A little spark that would make the nights more enjoyable then they already were. Slowly, Vael made his way towards the balcony that looked out to the sea. He parted the curtains and stood there on the balcony, leaned over the railing and just looked out into the vast waters before him.

Soon, Vael's favorite song to dance to came on and he could not just sit and watch as his guests enjoy the ball alone. He stepped back into his home and looked for a woman to share the dance with. He, of course, would not dance by himself. Vael looked around at the guests who seemed to be alone until he spotted one pretty woman in an elegant scarlet dress. Slowly, he approached her, not taking his eyes off her for one moment. "Good evening." he greeted, taking her hand into his as he placed a gentle kiss upon the skin of her hand. "Would you care to dance?" he asked with a slight grin.

Lilith noticed an elegant person slowly walking to the balcony of the building. He was really good-looking: he had blond hair and wore a beautiful suit. He also had a mask because, well, it was masquerade, after all. The Sith Apprentice assumed he is the person who invited her or something. Maybe he was even the person who organized this event? He was kind of special. Lilith even started moving towards him, but a new song started and the man already came back inside. It seemed like he had thought about something... or enjoyed the life.

But the next thing he did surprised Lilith. He came to her and asked her to dance. Well, before he did that, he kissed Lilith's hand. The lips of him were soft and maybe even warm, though she wasn't sure. These manners were something Lilith would've expected from every man. And of course she smiled. "I would love to dance with you. This song is very beautiful," Lilith said with a quite normal voice. Yes, she was happy and tried to sound polite, but that was not the thing which surprised Lilith. Her voice was pure from the corruption.
