There were many things Vakhari could use to describe Valaine, most of the good of course. But today it was time to attempt to iron out some of that bad, with the Sangnir having a very limited amount of understanding when it came to the force and how to apply it to make problems go away... Or keep your head on.

So far the doctor had been making her lab assistant and now lover learn non force related things, basics in surgical technique, biology, virology.... Not cooking however, Valaine did the cooking.

Now? Despite the stern warnings she had been given, the girl rolled with her gut when it came to teaching Valaine more and more. Today would be a good but basic- ahem.. Very basic start into a better understanding of the tools needed to help stay alive.

What was this basic tool? Being able to feel and sense danger without the need to physically see it, something that every force sensitive no matter if they were Jedi or Sith had to learn. The day had been set, snacks and drinks good to go for needed breaks, and fresh coffee provided to wake up the system on this brisk morning.

After a good night of sleep and no doubt the typical morning rituals done, it was time. Vakhari had tugged Valaine along to a place outside of the lab today, the extra feeling of the morning weather and the sounds of a waking up city would be extra tools for Vakhari- And extra challenges for Valaine.

And so the section of the Lutris gardens was theirs to use, Vakhari dressed up in her usual attire as she ordered around some training droids before approaching Valaine.

"Today breaks the norm, not going to worry about textbooks today."

The doctor lets out a slight amused huff, going on her tiptoes to give Valaine a kiss on the cheek.

"Ahem... Today I aim to teach you about precognition, the ability to sense danger before it hits you. Just about every force sensitive learns this, for Jedi they start teaching this skill even to their young."

Gesturing to the floating training droids ahead she would continue.

"These will take shots at you, nonlethal of course. I figure we start with one and see how it goes from there?"

She then offers a training sword to Valaine before going around behind her, needing to boost herself up a little again to tie a blindfold on to Valaine.

"All good? See anything at all?"

Life on Terminus suited Valaine, it wasn't much different from her homeworld of Jutrand after all. She had spent most of her time in the lab beneath the Lutris manor where she had continued to hone her skills beneath the careful guidance of her partner. Her progress had been steady but it was about time that she started to learn more of what should have been taught to her during her brief stint at the academy on Korriban.

She gladly followed along as Vakhari led her out towards the gardens. The doctor seemed more lively to her lately, ever since that dinner the Sangnir had prepared for them both. The young Lutris had opened up considerably and finally could their relationship truly start to blossom.

Long since had Valaine actually abandoned her typical Acolyte robes at this point, it felt somewhat unnecessary for her to keep donning them when she very much existed outside of the Order now. If she was ever working in the lab all day she dressed as Vakhari did with a long white lab coat, but for today she wore far more casual attire in the form of a hooded grey sweater and some tight fitting jeans.

Out in the garden the Sangnir's gaze shifted towards the droids that had been brought along; curious of their intention. She turned to look to Vakhari as she spoke and approached her, smiling warmly as the doctor leaned up to plant a soft kiss against her pale cheek that earned a light blush. She'd have returned it but the short Arkainian was always so swift in her movements that she would've had to chase her to give her one in return; but she'd return the gesture later no doubt.

"Ahh... Precognition." nodded Valaine, she had heard of this before and it was often why she lost her own duels; her reactions were based on her own inherent speed but everyone else had this advantage over her. "I've been waiting for this." she smirked lightly towards the doctor. The mention that the droids would be shooting at her though seemed to get a coy little pout from the pale woman. "It's not gonna sting, is it?" she asked as she accepted the training blade handed to her.

When the doctor moved behind her to start placing the blindfold over her eyes she dipped lower just slightly to make it easier for her to reach. Vakhari's height always seemed to amuse the Sangnir but she had gotten used to certain habits to help with the difference.

Valaine's vision turned to dark but her inherent senses were typically very sharp already, but she doubted she could deflect fire from a target she couldn't even see. When Vakhari asked if she could see anything she turned away to face the direction of her voice and offered a smirk, "Unfortunately not." she answered before she raised the blade in her hand steadily. "So... How does it work exactly...?"
