Lenavina Martin
Dangerous
79 ABY
Life was an amazing thing. One minute, she was taking insults from her grandmother on a daily basis and then the next she was killing people at the command of the Black Sun and then a minute after that, she was taking the lessons of her grandmother to heart and being faithful to the Empire, serving its leaders. And for that brief moment, Lenavina believed this was exactly where she had to be. Expect, life had other plans for her. Matthew was that other plan. Meeting him and his odd ways opened her eyes to the galaxy, made her rethink a great many things.
And she was slowly losing her father in what she was brainwashed into believing. She was, simply put, falling in love. And while she was doing just that, her sisters were building their own lives. Lena didn't get to spend time with them as much as she wanted but she kept tabs on them, making sure they were always alright. Her sister Hevana, seemed to be changing rapidly. One minute she had been engaged, the next minute she was chasing women and appearing to have a good life. Lenavina didn't argue, it was her life. Open minded like their mother, all she wanted was for both Hevana and Tesla to be happy.
She didn't know though. There was no way she could know. While she kept tabs on her sisters, another person was keeping tabs on all three. Said person wasn't even supposed to know her sisters existed. Her mother had made her swear and she kept her promise. How she had found out, nobody would really know but somehow, grandmother always knew everything. She simply did.
That knowledge was what would set certain motions in action. One day, she would run into Naha'va unexpetadly showed up at her doorstep. It seemed as if it was no more than a social visit but soon enough, she began to feel pressure around her neck, her throat tightened with the Force more and more before she finally lost her consciousness.
Once awaken again, Lenavina found herself chained and hanging in the air over a large hole. Piercing blue gaze scanned through the facility she was in quickly but she couldn't recognize where she was. She could however recognize the unconscious form of her sister Hevana. "I hope you've had a pleasant nap, Lena'ha," the voice of her grandmother made her turn. "Grandmother? What's going on? Where are we? Why am I chained? What's' He--" The endless questions rolled off her tongue before Naha'va rose her hand. "Enough. Before you continue, you and your sister have been a great disappointment to me. Why I kept your mother, I still wonder. But as long as you serve your purpose and remain loyal to the Empire, then I have no quals with you breathing. However, what has been happening lately is frankly a great annoyance. And it ends now." Naha'va was not forgiving. Nor did she tolerate them straying from the path she chose for them. Both powerless in the Force, they were less then worthy of her attention but somehow, they had been left alone until now.
She of course knew far to well just what was her grandmother capable of. So while her first instinct was to swear and tell her to go to hell, she did not. Lena remembered her training well, knew little could help her out of this situation. Naha'va knew her weakness well enough, knew exactly how to tie her up to ensure she wouldn't escape. And there was another issue that troubled her. Hevana. There was no reason to keep her here. "I understand, grandmother. What do you plan on doing to us?" Talking calming when she wanted to kick and scream seemed like a logical progression.
But Naha'va chuckled. "Wayward children need to be taught a lesson. They have to be punished to learn. Since everything else has failed if this does not work, I'm just going to have to kill you." There was little emotions in the woman's voice. And the concept of being a mother or hurting her family was lost to her. To Naha'va, they were children of the Empire and they were to do nothing else. Lena didn't speak though, continuing to watch the woman closely, waiting to hear the answer to her question a little longer. "Ahh, you're waiting. Patience. I have taught you well after all. Shame you did not keep to the other lessons, Lena'ha. Fine, I will tell you. I am going to freeze you for a hundred and fifty years. And when you awake, all that you love will be gone. Perhaps after your long sleep you will have taught your decisions over, both of you. And Tesla, when I catch up with her." She gestured to the empty chamber and empty chains above it. They were meant for Tesla. Lena's eyes widen in shock. Frozen for a hundred and fifty years, all three of them. She thought of her sisters first, not wanting them to go through this. She thought of Matthew next, suddenly realizing she would never see him again. It all pained her. The cold cool she worked so hard on was slowly fading.
"Grandmother, no. Please. Hevana and Tesla haven't done anything. They're loyal to the Empire. Just like you want us to. Please, don't do this to my sisters. Please." But all her pleading got her was more chuckling. "All Wayward children must be punished. We shall talk in a hundred and fifty years, child." That was the end of their conversation. Naha'va wasn't about to debate what each did wrong. In her mind, the list was endless.
Realizing this was actually happening, the chains slowly beginning to lower both her and Hevana in, Lenavina started moving, attempting to kick the air with her feet, attempting to move her hands. It was pointless but she refused to give up. There were mere moment though left for her to do it before she was finally lowered into the chamber, the cold fumes filling her. She closed her eyes, unable to take the pressure and soon felt like she was losing herself, before there was nothing.
Naha'va continued to watch the monitors closely, watching its progress. All the while she kept glancing at the other monitors as well. The facility had been quiet for a long time and it's location not so popular but Naha'va never left anything to chance. Once the computer told her the process was done for both of the girls, she typed in the order to lift the carbonate block, laying them down on the floor and moved to check their statistics. Their body functions seemed alright. "Sleep, my children. Your sister will be joining you soon." And with those last words to the empty room, she left the facility. Having previously removed technological items the girls possessed and leaving them on the table, Naha'va didn't spent too much time with them, instead they would be waiting for the girls once the awoke. Now, she had another girl to hunt down and send on a long sleep.
