PRELUDE
THE LION BITES BACK
Born into the high-born family of Dathrohan on Galidraan proper, Waymar was given unto the Sith at a young age not long after the world was subjugated by Zambrano's Empire. He began training at the Sith Academy on Korriban, though under the striking hand of an abrasive and harsh master, the treatment bred resentment in his soul. In 862 ABY, his life changed however. The Galactic Alliance in tandem with the New Imperial Order invaded the world of Korriban and in the raid of the academy, Dathrohan surrendered his own lightsaber and another from a Sith he had slain to then Lord Executor Rurik Fel, who took him into the Imperial Knights.
He spent the next following years in training under the tutelage and command of Rurik and his Iron Crusade, fighting in the closing battles of the Third Imperial Civil War as a budding Knight Errant before eventually given command of a strike team leading up to the battle of Nirauan to which he took part in the dogged defense of the Empire's once capital, refusing to yield in the face of greater foes and undeniably lethal danger. Recieving promotion to Knight-Captain but a change of responsibility, his unbreaking adherence to the Oath of the Knights rewarded him as much as it did burden him with duty away from the field of battle, the nature of the Crusade he sought to continue and employed him in Knight Inquisitor roles, playing a vital role in the integration of the Witches of Dathomir into the Order of the Imperial Knights as well as overseeing the return of
Lyra 'Sybila' Voikryt
to the Empire after her exile.
Still, he is a weapon of the Empire, ready to lead, fight and ultimately die on its behalf.
