Mos Enbarr, Tatooine, Arkanis Sector, Outer Rim Territories
Standing on the edge of a roof of a large shop Minerva without her helmet looked out in the high noon of the twin suns. A half smile formed on her face. Been here a few times over the years but I never get tired of this view. Thought the young warrior.
Suppressing a sigh Minerva put on her helmet. It was time to carry out her purpose here.
Miles away to the north was a fortress style estate owned by her target, an Ishi Tib criminal boss named Vus Radreff. Squeezing her fists she scowled. “Not only does the scum help traffic Mandalorian artifacts in the blackmarket but actually flaunts his own collection.” The very thought boiled her blood and now she is going to make the glorified thief pay for his arrogance.
Of course Vus had a small private army of mercs and security droids at his estate. That is why she is going for an unconventional approach. While speeders and ships flew over with engines whining, Minerva stepped inside a brown hovertruck that she had bought off from a Quarren used dealer hours ago. Activating the truck Minerva flew off the rooftop and straight for her destination. At first the truck maintained normal speed for several minutes but as it drew closer she slammed down the throttle.
At full speed the truck drove toward the eastern section of the estate and violently crashed through a large window. Metal screeched and sparks flew as the craft battered through and Minerva held on for dear life. A moment later the truck abruptly stopped nearly throwing the young Mandalorian off. Heart pounding Minerva let out a sigh of relief before getting up and drawing her blaster rifle.
“Time to roll.”
Said the warrior with defiant amusement and went into the back of the truck. Meanwhile outside in what was the lounge area, fire alarms blared as a dozen mercenaries wearing green matching uniforms stormed inside from the entrance. Their leader, a female Weequay armed with a scatterblaster then commanded.
“Spread out boys and secure the area. The boss says kill whoever is inside there if they’re alive, whether this is an accident or not.”
Subsequently, thick gray smoke burst out from the crashed speeder as its backdoor opened, covering the room and causing the building’s sprinkler system to activate. The mercs swear and groan as the water rains down as they struggle to see. Then a shadowy figure rolled into their midst and fired one shot point blank range in the commander’s stomach. Utter mayhem ensued with multiple blaster shots flashed and cries rang out in the devastated room.
