COMMENOR
Only the Imperial presence on Commenor would have received forewarning of what was about to happen.

According to the Dark Lord [member="Lady Kay"] had been.... less than willing to cooperate in good faith. Ronan respected that, but that respect didn't influence his decision. Kaine asked him to go to Commenor. Break the rebellion that was fostering and make an example out of the world. It had been a request, a favor asked from an ally.

Vizsla had accepted.

Why wouldn't he have?

The siege of Commenor had been rather disappointing. Quickly over, before blood could be shed. To take over the occupation of Commenor would be an interesting experience.

A fleet reverted from Hyperspace.

Star Destroyers, Carriers, Cruisers, Frigates and more. At the head of it was a single Militus-class Battlecruiser. Ronan's flagship for this operation. A message was send at the same time that the fleet reversed. It announced the arrival of Alor Vizsla, the transfer of power and then a single command.

For the Queen, her court, to gather in her palace.

And to await Ronan.

"This should prove amusing." Vizsla mentioned from the seat on the bridge. The planet loomed bright on their viewports. He had brought a mixed number of troops with him. Some were House Vizsla, others were Imperial-Sith soldiers, droids, but all of them were committed towards this... operation.

"Notify the Saaraishash detachment. We land in thirty."

With him on the bridge? [member="Koda Fett"], [member="Tamara Wren"], [member="Irella Vizsla"], [member="Vilaz Munin"].

Deeper in the ship the Empire had send a group of Inquisitors. [member="Matsu Xiangu"], [member="Belphaegor"] and some others.

Perhaps he had taken that role among those within Te Veman. Yet, even still, he was a Bounty Hunter. There was bound to be something of a slow shift, a dynamic that was going to change within him as time had progressed and his enrichment within that society, culture and community had become complete. Although, that really had not been now. Fett remained a greedy, arrogant, murderous mans with morals more flexible than a contortionist. The Sith Empire, regardless of anything, had always paid this Mandalorian far more than he could ever of desired. Fett never told them that, though. That would surely make him a fool, no?

It was from behind that T-Visor that his gaze peered outwards into the vast emptiness that was the void. It hadn't been so empty these days, especially around Commenor. It was possible that he was delusional, seeing things that didn't exist, but he could swear that there was a burning city reduced to ash capable of being spotted from orbit. It was but a taste of his future endeavours, and it brought about an internal smile to his previously expressionless interior. Koda had known of his purpose here, and it was merely fear-factor. House Vizsla was more than capable of doing it on their own, but Fett had certain ties to Commenor that no other Mandalorian had. Capturing both the King and the Queen was certainly something to be weary about.

His Carbine remained within his grip throughout the vast majority of their venture, for he felt near naked without it. Now it had pressed against his shoulder, the barrel, that is, whilst the tip had found itself facing the ceiling above. His stance, no doubt, was rather relaxed despite the tenseness of the situation that was soon to unfold.

The Commenori people were never going to be a fan of House Vizsla.

Kay didn't have a court anymore. Not since the siege and occupation. Most had either escaped Commenor, like her family, or executed. Instead she just had her staff. Olivia was the Head of the House, in charge of all the staff and the goings on throughout the Palace. And even she wasn't aware of what the purpose of the meeting was. [member="Darth Interitus"] and [member="Draxan Vazda"] were more than likely contacted, given that they were her Sith Overseers, each responsible for different aspects of the government. [member="Asajj Novar"] was her newest handmaiden, to replace the one that left her staff after the occupation had begun.

A sense of foreboding came across Kay as she sat there in the meeting hall with the staff at one of the large tables. No doubt her antics at the ball had gotten her into a bit of trouble. She had expected that. But still she had figured that there'd be some way to work around it. There usually was.

Kay sipped her tea, laughing a little to herself as she tried to lighten the mood that hung heavy in the room.
"Wouldn't it be funny if this was some sort of a rescue?" The chances of that however were slim. But she wouldn't of allowed in anyways, for she believed that more cities would be glassed if she left, more lives lost until she had returned.

At least her husband [member="Veiere Arenais"] and kids were safely away from home.

Irella had never been to Commenor before.

But even if she had, she wasn't sure if her on-occasion soft heart could have taken the condition it was in now.

The Sith had, in typical fashion, decimated the planet. She had... Opinions, about that. But, beside Ronan, she kept those quiet emotions to herself. No matter how she felt, loyalties were to him and Vizsla now, that was undeniable; and this was their new mission offered to them by Dark leaders. There was no such thing as burying your head in the sand and looking the other way, hiding away in dark alleys and forgetting the nightmare just steps off.

Her eyes turned from Ronan, stalwart, to his daughter, half a brow quirked. Some part of her was curious as to how things had turned out for her, judging by their early conversations over Echoy'la she hadn't had it particularly easy. The Force fluctuated between them despite the urge to turn off, Irella's own unpredictable strength in it did that often, simply sought out connections across the ethereal web. She restrained from anything truly noticeable affecting Tamara, though, lest there be awkward conversations to follow the already awkward one they already had under their belt.

Then she looked to Koda. He seemed casual, for a man said to be leading a rebellion against the fellow Mando'ade she'd witnessed at the Ball. In all honesty, it was likely well-deserved, and if the whispers of alignment to Vizsla were true then, then perhaps they'd be on the same side of a field soon enough.

It was to be hoped, at any rate.

She did quite enjoy the idea of knocking some buy'ce around again, properly. That was the side of her that worried her, after all. The side that seemed born of beskar and ready to get red hands. Yet she indulged it, and maybe that was why she had a simple smirk across her face as she looked down at Commenor now.

"Hmm?" Asajj glanced up from the tea she had been pouring for her own cup to [member="Lady Kay"] , blinking. She didn't know the situation yet, nor did she feel the looming shadow that was the Dark Lord's enforcers on their way to well, enforce. "I'm not sure if a rescue would be funny. I think it'd end up with far more dead than is laughable." The Dathomir had, of course, taken it literally before she sat down across from the Queen to sip at her own cup.

"Is someone coming?"

Kay-Larr

Right. [member="Asajj Novar"] didn't have much of a sense of humour. Yet. The two were just starting to get to know one another. It was a long process, but hopefully it'd turn out to be a good one.

"Well I didn't mean it literally. But you're right. There probably would be a lot of deaths."

She sipped her tea and then nestled the cup in her hands as she rested them on the table. Her eyes looked around from the staff members seated quietly, all itching to get back to their tasks, towards the doors that lay open. Two Imperial guards stood sentry like statues; a sight that many of them were used to seeing by now.

Kay then looked to Olivia that sat across from her, trying to read the old woman's expression. Yet the Head of the House was giving nothing away. The Queen then looked to her handmaiden. "Someone is coming, yes. I was told to gather everyone here to receive guests.
Though who they are, I don't really know. I can only imagine that they aren't sympathizers to our plight."

Tin'tinag

Life is a queen, if not it would be to easy
~Doing Stuff, Somwhere~

The whole commoner debacle had been rather strange, unfortunately Tin was not present for the invasion, herself busy with a certain Sith knight that she had met during the whole blockading event. No matter how many times the Twi'lek master had flattered the woman ass in a duel she just kept coming over and over again. Sith certainly were the persistent type, in her mind almost to the point of being crazy and obsessed, guess that was what the dark side did to someones mind.

Regardless of what was going on she had finally made it back to the once prominent planet of commoner and as expected of the Sith completely ruined for no good reason. "I wonder what the ratio of people who died in battle is to those executed... probably 1:1 if the empire is involved", yep can't have anyone who wields power, has money, is smart of a force users live on a planet under their control. That could cause problems as the more common folk would have someone else to listen to that was not a warmongering psychopath.

Still the Twi'lek master was still out of the loop of what exactly was happening on the planet, the occupation was rather light on, Tin able to use her old smuggler tactics to get through. Yet there was a sense of danger in the air, like something was about to happen. [member="Lady Kay"] would know, the only problem was getting to the woman, though that was the easy part, actually talking with her would prove more difficult. Tin was not sure of her reputation in the CSA, but had a sneaking suspicious that if was not great.

"Ah, right. My apologies." Asajj was trying very hard to be a formal and good handmaiden to [member="Lady Kay"] , which often meant she was too serious and or too high strung. She idly sipped at her own tea, glancing to the rest of the staff she had been working alongside. There was a lot of them here now. "Should we be worried?" The woman cast a glance to her queen, concern in her voice.

"It's alright. You'll get used to me. I'm not your average Queen. I don't expect to be bowed to or greeted by a title unless we're in a formal occassion. When our guests arrive, whoever they are...it will be one of those times."

Kay took in a deep breath and slowly released it as [member="Asajj Novar"] asked her question. She wanted to reply with a firm yes. But a part of her didn't want to alert the staff of what she felt. She couldn't falter in front of them, she couldn't break.

"We'll be alright.
Commenor survives. It always does."

Vilaz was certainly one that enjoyed the carnage that took place on Commenor when the Sith Empire came.

Though while enjoying it his satisfaction was not as...good as he thought it to be. It was a short conflict after the order of an orbital bombardment on one of Commenor’s major cities. That decision left a bad taste in both Vilaz and his clansmen. While more blood spilled to his liking from that bombardment, it was slightly annoying for him. He didn’t mind or care for any collateral damage to say; he was no stranger to it as he didn’t mind spilling aruetiise blood during a battle if they got in the way.

But the thought of reducing a major city to ash was just wasteful. It was a tactic Vilaz disliked in most warfare situations, and tried to avoid it. Only time he’d consider it was in desperate times or when a selected target wasn’t worth sacrificing supplies and men for. A bit funny coming from a man with a lust for blood and warfare.

But here he was again, with Commenor humbled and defeated. He stood with a group of Mandalorians he trusted and was fond with, especially Ronan considering their recent talks. Just recently did the two Alors came to an accord, resulting Clan Munin merging with the rest of House Vizsla which made House Vizsla the most powerful House out of the Mandalorians. So when Ronan called, the Concordian was not reluctant to aid. All the Clans under the House had each other’s support. Vizslas, Fetts, Munins, Wrens, and Saxons were one.

Though the Warlord was unsure why they were here.

”Exactly why are we here, Ronan?” the Warrior asked to his kin, while enjoying the view of Commenor in his armor and donned helmet. He noticed a gray, lifeless are that was abstract from the rest of the sphere, no doubt was it the site of the orbital bombardment.

One other thing he observed was a particular person amongst them. That woman that accompanied Ronan to the Ball. Irella. Someone he was unfamiliar with, yet was curious in knowing her history. He picked up some tension between her and Koda; however, that wouldn’t sway his overall judgment on her.

Perhaps he’d learn something from her on this operation. But his curiosity wouldn’t take away his focus from business.

"Notify the Saaraishash detachment. We land in thirty."

"I'll go."

It would have been easier to contact them through the ship's coms, but one thing they all knew was that the Sith preferred more direct contact. It helped that it got Tamara off of the bridge. She was there because he father had said he needed her- not just as his daughter but as future A'lor. It was nothing she wanted, had ever wanted....

But then, there wasn't much she did want these days, was there?

The armored form moved swiftly through the ship, heading to where the Saaraishash delegation were waiting. Helmet under her arm, resting on her hip, she stepped inside. Face neutral, she offered a stiff bow to [member="Matsu Xiangu"] and [member="Belphaegor"].

"We will be landing soon," she said quietly, though she had no trouble being heard. The room was preternaturally quiet, even with the Saaraishash agents within. She was aware in a distant sort of way that it could be unsettling. Then, so could the lead Inquisitor. The diminutive woman was.... striking.

"Is there anything you need in final preparation?"

Despite those things, Tam was calm, her tone respectful. She had a job to do, as did they all.

Sometimes when she sat in the further reaches of yet another ship, she remembered her first trip on one. She wasn’t supposed to be there, a stowaway - even smaller then - hidden behind crates, leaving her hiding spot only when she couldn’t bear the hunger any longer and had to scavenge. So much had changed. But a few things remained.

“This will be difficult,” she said quietly to Belphaegor, her hands resting idle in her lap. Much of her injuries from most recent battles had scarred over, allowing her to forego the elegant if prohibitive harness she’d been wearing around her torso. She wore her support suit, but with the headpiece pulled back. “The Empire’s enemies aren't used to an elegant solution. But we must help try.”

Their hushed conversation was broken only by the arrival of a younger woman, a bold tattoo sweeping from forehead to bridge of the nose to cheek. She filed the marking away. Once she took a job, the Atrisian was nothing if not serious. She gathered information, endlessly.

The small smile of acknowledgement she offered deepened the dimpled scars on her right cheek. “Thank you. We have everything we need...Tamara, is it?” (Studied whatever they had on the personnel coming along, armed with knowledge.) “We’ll come along to join your people. Would you mind filling me in on your plan before we land?”

She swept up from her sitting position, not much taller standing, to stroll with the woman back towards the front of the ship as the planet loomed. The incongruity between her nightmarish appearance and quasi-warm demeanor was usually lost on her.

Darth Interitus, the main Sith Representative for the council that was tasked by the Dark Council to govern the occupied territory of Commenor. While he had mainly been in charge of political matters, making sure that the people were kept in line, happy with the occupation. But with the increasing threat of Rebellion, matters were becoming more stressful despite the blockade put in place. Rebel Incursions were getting too much even for the single Sith Lord to deal with. Yet when he heard that the Mandalorian allies have tasked someone to be the main overseer of the occupation, he couldn't help but feel relief as he had some help in dealing with Rebellions from a more firm approach, someone who was accustomed to dealing with warriors, and knowing how to beat them.

This kept his matters, strictly to that of the Government, but while he had to make sure that [member="Lady Kay"] was under constant surveillance at all times. He still had to greet the Mandalorian and the Sith Escort that was bound to arrive shortly. He proceeded to a landing platform with troopers in tow, waiting to politely greet those that would arrive. And then after that would soon take to the Queen. After all she would be expecting all of them to appear of course, and for someone as cultured as Interitus, he would hate to be a rude host.

She felt it in the air, with each passing step, approaching the Palace a darker aura swept through the force, who ever was here certainly was no push over in the force. The Sith empire certainly wanted a good foot hole in the core worlds before their borders expanded, at this rate they'd reach Corucscant before the First order did. 'Things are certainly starting to heat up, but I doubt it is solely Sith who are here, much to far from their own world to sustain a full military presence, they have to be getting help from someplace'.

She'd have to keep a look out upon getting closer to [member="Lady Kay"], there was no telling who was on the Siths side and who was not, though once in the palace could hopefully 'resume' the role of a Knight of Commoner without to much suspiuson on how she got there. 'Times like this I wish I learned that invisibility power, guess it's gotta be done the old fashion way', hopefully the palace security had not been updated

Tamara's departure (the swiftness of it) was not lost to him.

It amused him more than anything else.

As always.

The ship settled into orbit and that was that, Vizsla rose at the same time as Vilaz asked his question. He eyed him for a moment, before turning towards Commenor peering up at them through the viewport. What was it exactly that they were doing here? It was... simple in Ronan's eyes. But perhaps his brutal simplicity was still mostly lost to those that were used to him. "The Queen of Commenor believes her mutual blood bonds with Yasha Mantis protects her." It surely did from [member="Darth Carnifex"]. The Dark Lord of the Sith still cared about his alliance with the Mandalorian Empire. A waste of time, but Ronan couldn't rightly fault him. For all of her uselessness, so many were still loyal to her.

It made him wonder just what Koda and him would have to do... once they found themselves on Mandalore itself.

Either way.

This was presumably the reason why Kaine asked him to help him with this. Whichever way you swung it? Ronan Vizsla could give a chit about protecting that alliance. "I am here to remind her of her mortality." In truth it was a stroke of brilliance from Zambrano.

Make it a request. Give a butcher a chance to wound his enemy through someone weak, who considered herself safe.

If Ronan killed Kay? Kaine's hands were clean. Free. The alliance would be preserved.... that was the theory anyway.

"Shuttles will bring us down. The Sith emissaries should already be there waiting on us." Interitus, the Sith's name was, Vizsla knew little of him. But Commenor wasn't bathing in the fires of rebellion just yet, so presumably he was competent enough at his job. Even if his hands had been tied by Kaine's desire for... peace. It didn't take them a long time to find their way to the hangar bays. Not any longer to meet up the representatives of the Saaraishash.

Those black eyes flickered between the small frame of Tamara and the even smoller form of Matsu.

The latter one was an example of murder in a small box.

"Lady Xiangu." The greeting was calm, but it didn't have any of the usual low-key rancor. She was a killer.... even if she was a bit too elegant about it for his taste. "I am aware this situation is unorthodox." A Sith Lord who wasn't in command? A Mandalorian barely in the Empire's hierarchy? It was all manners of strange, but sometimes that was exactly what was necessary for the situation at hand. A shrug followed. "If this ends up being a short trip, be as deadly as the stories tell. I am counting on it."

Was he actually flirting with her?

Impossible.

Right?

Before there could be any more calculation in his words Vizsla had already swept past them and entered one of the larger shuttles. The ones that would bring all of them down to the surface. Into the open, inviting arms of Interitus... and the court of Commenor.

Asajj sat still across from [member="Lady Kay"], idly drumming her fingers on her now empty glass. It was the third cup she had finished during their wait for the Sith's representatives to arrive. It had been eerily quiet among her fellow servants, so she smiled faintly, looking to the Queen. "The uh, Sith usually this late?" She smiled lightly at her joke, hoping to ease the tension among her fellows.

COMMENOR
VIZSLA FLAGSHIP
Fett had never been the honour bound warrior that Mandalorians had so often painted themselves as- shaping their identity to those across the Galaxy. No, instead he was rather deceptive, cunning, unfair. Koda had a vision of a Mandalore, and in that vision was no Empire governing it. Yet, he understood his circumstances. Te Veman, in all their might, were nothing but the underdogs in the situation so heavily stacked against them. It was there that his nature was sure to thrive. They needed resources first, and then allies second. Zambrano had held onto his alliance with the Mandalorian Empire firmly, but there was a way to disengage those locks from the other party. Ronan believed the Sith had some form of deniability when it came to employing these Mandalorians to oversee Commenor, but if Fett was to kill Kay and blame such a thing on the Sith Empire? That alliance was sure to end rather abruptly, no? It was a thought, at the very least.

There wasn't a word that parted his lips, concealed by that helmet as he took to watching the sights of Commenor from that viewport. It had been stimulating to some degree, witnessing all that that was there once burned to ash. He wasn't really some psychopath that indulged in senseless murder, but sometimes there were actions that needed to be taken.

It was alongside Vizsla in which he stood within that shuttle. He waited, and waited, and waited. There wasn't a whole lot to do other than stand, really. Commenor wasn't quite prepared for their new 'overlords', as it were.

Kay could feel the impatience in [member="Asajj Novar"] , as well as the growing worry from the others within the room. Normally guests were more punctual. But this time they weren't. It was strange and didn't do anything to help the bad feeling in her gut.

"No, they aren't usually this late. No one is. Perhaps we had the day mixed up. It could be tomorrow for all we know." She looked to her kitchens staff, the housemaids and men. This waiting around was keeping them all from their duties which could delay all of their schedules. The look on Olivia's face told her she wasn't fond of this either.

Kay got to her feet and spoke up to those gathered. "I know that you all have a lot to do, work that you want to get back to. I've not heard word from anyone.
Perhaps we've got the day wrong. Those that want to can go back to their duties. Others can remain here. I myself shall stay for a little bit longer, just in case."
She sat back down and picked up her tea, having another sip. The idea of going back to her office was seeming better and better.

[member="Tin'tinag"] would find that security had been updated. In fact it had been changed completely. No more were there Commenori Knights present, but the entire security personnel were replaced with Sith Imperial troopers and guards. It wasn't so much a Palace anymore, but one big prison cell. No unscheduled visitors were allowed.

"Ah, Commenor."

Vaulkhar finally spoke up from the corner of the room, his arms crossed over his chest. He pushed himself from the wall and turned his blind gaze to the duo of Asajj and the Queen of Commenor herself, Lady Kay. It would likely be a surprise to some he was there, perhaps not to all. With his father's call to the Mandalorians, he decided to pay Commenor a visit and keep himself scarce until the day they arrived. With the words shared between the two of them causing a fair bit of concern among those in the room, he felt it was the best time to make his presence known to the others. He tugged his hood away from his head and offered a nod to Asajj first, followed by one to the Queen. Since she had seen him his hair had been cut and his clothing of choice had changed significantly. However, she'd recognize the same, malicious grin of a cold blooded killer.

Across the room he went, dark side energies seeping off of him. The Queen's staff within the room kept a wide birth around him as he approached, the warmth seeming to be sucked away and replaced by the cold, dark feeling of the force. As he neared he masked himself once more and appeared entirely force dead to those who could sense him via the force.

"I'm here to observe. Ensure something important to me walks out of this room alive. I hope that won't be an issue."

[member="Lady Kay"] | [member="Asajj Novar"]

The Dathomir smiled to [member="Lady Kay"] as she spoke. The Queen certainly knew how to keep folks calm in these rather stressful times. Certainly made her someone Asajj looked up to as a mentor for her eventual reign as the Queen of Iridonia. She was about to open her mouth to say she too would stay when she heard an all too familiar voice. A shiver went up her spine as she glanced over her shoulder to see [member="Vaulkhar"] suddenly standing there.

"Vaulk..? Why-? What are you doing?"
